Hello there! Thanks to all who subscribed to my little trombone channel. It is a huge support! Let's reach my next goal of 1500 subs. I am working on some new projects and try to create more content soon. I will make a live recording of the Ferdiand David Concertino with symphony orchestra and I would like to record some crazy bakan stuff as well.
I played trombone in High school and through college. If I heard his pay before then I may never want to play trombone since his level is uncatchable for me. Great performance.
Love the finale movement, silky smooth, rhythmic, energetic, using this as a reference for a chamber concert at school as a 13 year old, thanks for the help
@@SebastianKoelman It sure does! And It's exciting to for me to hear you play that alongside your very inspiring videos of the Turkish and Balkan music. I'm all about no limits for the different kinds of music trombone players make. I like that playing those other musics seems to have opened up a wider range of expressive possibilities in your approach to this piece. Makes me happy to hear!
Thank you so much! I like to play diffrent music styles and it‘s so nice to get such positive feedback. It‘s so inspiring to have the privilege to play with so many great musicians.
I am using this as a reference for my Freshman Recital coming up. It is very clear, understandable, and vibrant. I love the interpretation! You can really feel the personality you have given your playing. Also, your other videos are great! Very nice inspiration.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I‘m honored that you use my performance as a reference! I wish you all the best and good luck for your Recital!
Hi, thans for your comment. It took me about two weeks of intensiv practice time before the concert. But I have been practising it already many times befor during my studdies.
Do you have any tips on how to get such a beautiful sound quality? Your sound is so fluid and clean I just love it. I am currently in grade 10 playing the tenor trombone and would like some tips if you have some spare time. Also, how many years did it take you to where you are now with the trombone, it's amazing! I hope to get a university scholarship in the future in music. I was just wondering what is your daily practice warmup, drills, exercises, anything that can help me improve. Anyway, thanks for this video, it has truly inspired me! Much love! 💖😁
Thanks for your inerest. Well first of all I like to learn a piece by heart very well so I can fully focus on the music I want to create. I always record my self a lot and listen to it very critically to make sure everything is exactly how I want. During the performance I just play without analyzing and just enjoy the flow. Have fun and good luck.
Hi Mr. Varga. It‘s a copy of a prototype custom mouthpiece from Mr. David Bruchez (my former teacher). I like it very much and I use it a lot. But unfortunately there is no brand or distributor since it is only a prototype.
I started with the tenor trombone, then I went to the trumpet then return to the trombone then I moved on to the euphonium. I also learn the flute, the Xylophone, guitar and piano. I learned the most common chords and all the common scales used in music. Now I'm on the tenor trombone. I have a great ear. My goal is to play by ear of what I hear.
That’s very impressive. Cool that you came back to the tenor trombone after all these instruments. Playing by ear is a wonderful thing to do. Keep making music. 👍
This is a prototype of a custom made mouthpiece from my former professor Mr. David Bruchez. These mouthpieces are not in production but I made some copies.

Really enjoyable! I played this as one of the pieces in my Master's recital 25 years ago, really nice to hear it with the ensemble...

Очень красиво звучит у вас тромбон, скажите какой фирмы у вас тромбон? Спасибо.
Danke dir. Isch spiele seit 10 Jahren die Edwards T-396 Alessi. Ein super Instrument mit einem genialen Sound.
Nice❤How long of time you trained this, because I believe that Gröndahl is very difficult

Truly amazing, and more interesting than Lindberg!
Wow thank you very much! That’s a huge compliment. Christian Lindberg is a fatastic trombone player and a great inspiration to me.
Does anyone know where I can look to find this piece of music I want to play it for my senior concerto

Take the slide off and start buzzing a Db scale then chromatically move downwards
Hello, Where i can find the score?
I think you can buy the score in a local music store or online.
@@SebastianKoelman thanks!!
I’m planning on playing this and your interpretation is what I’m striving to get too. Do you have any tips?

Peter Steiner is a great trombone player! I like his interpretation. Thanks for listening mine too. Check out my other videos on my channel.
