    I graduated from a Breville Infuser and Smart GrinderPro to a Mara X (I didn't know Breville owned them) and a Eureka Mignon Silencio. I chose it for the narrower body. It does mean the hot water spout is in the way, but I never use it anyway. Once dialed in, you can't seem to make a bad espresso. I do agree, keep it on the brew x mode; the steam power, while it does fluctuate, has always worked fine. The only thing it doesn't really have is a timer, but that was a pretty cheap widget to get. And for those wondering, all three have that, "I have a gorgeous espresso machine that makes me a better person" look to them, the Mara X is gorgeous, and built like a tank. I totally love the machine.

    I can't comment on the other two machines, just to say that I've owned my Appartamento Rocket since 2018 and it still delights me just as much.

    You left one other important question out. How well does the machine fit on your counter? I have a Lelit machine (Victoria) and I choose it for its narrow footprint as it sits beside the sink on the narrow side of counter. Most people where I live have never heard of Lelit. I tell them this: Breville purchased Lelit recently. Given what you know of Breville, do you think they would have bought a company that makes bad machines?

      The footprint of the Lelit was the second thing she talked about...

    SCG, you nailed it with this video! The production quality and presentation has taken your RUclips channel to an all new level of viewing experience. Now the question is, was this a new trend or a one of a kind video. Let's hope this is the way of the future for your channel. Great job to the presenter. A1👍🏻👍🏻

      I disagree , the channel is now nothing different than all others , when Gail did these she actually used the machines , explained them showed the pros and cons , AN HONEST PRESENTATION ..... These vids are nothing NEW LEVEL ... Hundreds of channels doing the same

      @@Aldocello1 Are you saying this presentation was less than honest? In what way did this video misrepresent the facts about the machine or its capabilities? I liked Gail too, but her presentations were sometimes pretty rough.

    Got the MaraX with an Eureka Mignon grinder for almost 2 years ago now and it's a killer combo. Back then I looked at the Appartamento, ECM mechanika slim and I settled on the MaraX.
    Most bang for buck, great features and smallest footprint. I bet Lelit upset a few of the bigger companies with the MaraX😏

      Great question! We'd recommend the Rocket Appartamento here: scg.click/rocketappartamento ! The Appartamento is easier to learn on, has a lower flow rate for espresso brewing and slightly lower steam power. Feel free to ask us any other questions you might have.

    I would be curious to hear about the reliability of the various machines. Does the consumer need to ship a 60 pound broken unit back to Italy to get it repaired under the warranty? What is the most common repair issue with these machines?

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hello!
      We definitely stand by the reliability of each of these machines and at this time don't have any particularly common repair issues with them. As with any appliance, failures can happen, but thankfully we service each of these machines at SCG, so any owner should be able to ship them to us for warranty service should they need to.

    Why does the Lelit brew with 5 bar pressure? This is a very weird configuration and it doesn't follows the 9 bar standard.

    Is the Appartamento TCA now in feature parity with the Mara X other than the Bre X vs Steam X toggle? I love the design of the og Rocket Appartamento but lack of PID of any kind is a dealbreaker.

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  2 месяца назад

      The TCA's hybrid PID is unique but we've definitely seen it stand up to the other machines in its price bracket. I think it's safe to say that when choosing between these machines you can definitely safely go for the one you like aesthetically.

    At the end it is said there are several questions to ask yourself. One is if you prefer milk drinks that will help you decide which one to get. Well I don't see how. Which is the choice if you prefer milk drinks?

    Really stuck between buying the Profitec 400 or the MaraX… I think the build quality seems somewhat better on the 400 and I do like the more polished stainless on the front of it similar to the rocket… but the MaraX seems like a widely adored little machine. Also do really like the idea of the 60 minute timer on the Diletta and hadn’t really considered that machine yet. Tough decision… lol

    Ignoring price and only looking at these 3 machines, the Lelit wins hands down. But it's worth noting that the Lelit costs $200 extra if you want the black or white options. And now that the Bello+ is added to the mix, I can't see any reason not to buy that model unless you desperately need the countertop space or there's a good deal on one of the other models.

    WARNING: Diletta does NOT and can not be set to turn itself off automatically after 60m (regardless of being used or not)

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  Год назад +3

      Hi Jan! Depending on your Diletta Bello model, you may or may not have the eco mode timer. Since October of 2022, the newly manufactured Diletta Bello machines DO have an eco-mode timer that shuts the machine off after 60 minutes. So, if you purchased your Diletta Bello before October, the Eco Mode timer will not be a feature your machine was built with. We'll make sure to clarify that next time we talk about this feature in a video!
