- If you haven't seen it, or heard it before... Tell us we are wrong in saying this is the most unique sounding Barra that would have to be in existence.
We're trying to track Errol down to get the nitty gritty on the car but from what we understand it's a mechanically injected destroked Barra and it sounds absolutely mental!
We grabbed a few clips of the car from the October Test and Tune, unfortunately at the Golden States round on the Friday Night (just a few weeks ago) the car got out of shape up the top end of the track and it all went downhill from there and the car ended up on it's roof which is almost a replay of a similar crash in 2017 at almost exactly the same spot on the track! Errol walked away without a scratch and hopefully the damage to the car is fixable as we would love to see it back again - It's definitely one of our favourites!

I wouldn't be surprised if it's running a 3.2 crank out of the older crossy/ea3.2 like my own motor. Barra heads can be dropped onto intech/sohc blocks with ease so I have a feeling he's done what my build is doing bottom end wise

Most purpose built drag cars are built LHD, distributes the weight better and counteracts the force the torque of the engine puts on the chassis towards the right hand side

Destroked is definitely the way to go to get one of these things to really come alive!

LUV the Barras. Is it using the Bullet Billet block?
Actually not too sure mate they keep the finer details pretty well under wraps but I don’t think it is a billet block… Have a feeling it’s still a factory block!

Best sounding Barra so far! I'm guessing it's been destroked to roughly 3.4L? Maybe less?
May be 3.8 stroke .don't believe anyone is making a crack with this stoke

Counters the rotation of the engine/chassis, more about weight distribution than anything from what we understand mate

@@robertnaismith6271genuine question. If the engine is centred on the chassis and engineered to counteract vibration and torque twist, why would it favour the right side and not the left just based on the drivers position?
