Hi I’ve watched a lot of your videos and they’ve been great so I was wondering if you could make one just drop a message on how to specialise my CV to a certain apprenticeship e.g. finance or digital and technology solutions degree apprenticeship? Also would you leave the skills the same or just change their structure so that they become more like skills for finance. Also, I never really got any solid in person work experience so do online courses fill that gap?

If u got an offer from multiple company’s but turn down the rest and let’s say u be made redundant at the company u chose after maybe a year into the apprenticeship, how would wanting to go back to one of the company’s you got an offer from before which you declined. Is that something that’s possible.

In theory, yes you could go to one of those companies. But, like I mentioned in the video, I expect most companies would not decide to instantly hire you on the spot when they have their own apprentices who they know and trust

Bro touching on wut u said about linkedin, can you expand on how youd use ur connections cos i feel like linkedin is Bs. When you connect with these guys, how do you get your relationship to a point where you can then go and ask for requests, where at that point in time your not too close and barely know eachother

No, I do agree with that which is one of the reasons why I don't use LinkedIn myself. But if you have messaged someone once or twice (e.g. a senior engineer from another company), you will have a better chance of getting a job with them. I'm not out here saying it's gonna be a guaranteed job (not even close to that), I'm just saying factually it might increase your chance of getting a job by 1-2%.
Similarly, just having a LinkedIn account where you have an active profile and have most posts about your achievements will likely help. Because it's like an online portfolio and record of you being a good employee. Is it going to guarantee you a job? Absolutely not. But I imagine it will make a difference.
Overall, my point in this video was that I imagine it is highly unlikely you would be able to find another employer to take you on. I think LinkedIn can help but I'm not saying it can help a lot. I'm not saying it will increase your chance by 50%, I'm just saying it will increase it by a positive number. Most likely I think it would by 0.5-1%. So if you want to absolutely optimise every last chance, then it is something you can do.
Biggest takeaway from this though is that this is very rare and comes with the package of doing a corporate job. It's not something I think about at all, and if it happens "it is what it is". That's the best attitude to have, I think.
      Hope that clarifies things.

If a apprentice does get rudendant then can they not apply for A different company with the same role but do the degree apprenticeship again from the start of year 1

Most likely not, there's something called prior learning. Because you've already learned the content the first time round, the government wouldn't want to fund your degree to learn the same things. So most likely, that would stop you from doing the same degree apprenticeship again from the start
