There are no winners, only degrees of losers
Blaze or Cipher i guess, i don't know what is SS-Morning Star honestly but i don't think Monarch from PW have what it's need to take on Blaze or Cipher, he beat Trigger and maybe Talisman.
But Ace like Mobius, Blaze or Cipher was made and told in the story to be invincible ace who turn the tide of any war alone.
I love the fact that Project Wingman is unanimously accepted as a part of Ace Combat in this community
Never played it. How does it compare to AC?
@@MadMax-kn7nf from how I understand it, it's basically Ace combat in terms of how the story and presentation works, but when it comes to gameplay, it's a bit more realistic than Ace Combat

@@Dead_Weight21 sorry I've never played it myself. I just spoke based on what I saw during the initial missions. I haven't seen how the game progresses
@@MadMax-kn7nf It's quite fun, the controls are pretty good but the mouse aim takes time to get used to. In terms of story think of it as reverse Ace Combat 0 but the nuke is actually dropped and you fight for survival instead of saving the world. The weapon selections is way better than Ace Combat since you can take more than 1 special weapons, and there are jets like dedicated ground attackers and even the usual Ace Combat like super plane.
So Trigger, Monarch, Cipher, Mobius 1, and Blaze fly into area B7R

Seriously though... about halfway in and I'm already tearing up.
Basically it's not only great for aces competing, but for a battle against Belka (who did absolutely nothing wrong) over B7R.
At Area B7R the aces of the world fight. The Belkans are gaining ground. Since their defeat in the 1995 Belkan War they have plotted their revenge, even through the Circum Pacific War, the Emmerian Estovakian War, and the Lighthouse War. The Allied ground forces are in full retreat. The new drones, modeled on ace pilots of the Belkan Air Force, shoot down any aircraft that dares enter the airspace, and any that do get through deal with the aces themselves, as well as a new enemy squadron, designated Crimson. They came out of nowhere, confused, but proved valuable to the Belkan war effort. Superweapons like Excalibur and Megalith, rebuilt in Belka, rain fire on the Allied ground troops. Among the chaos, a Belkan AWACS sits high in the sky, observing the downfall of the Allies. Blips appear on the radar.

"The Ghosts of Razgriz? Unlikely. Even if it is them, airman, we have the numbers."

"Final contacts, one F/D-14? He's got wingmen too. One MG-29 and one F/C-15. Mercs."

It was going to get interesting.
I would make a joke about Monarch stroking out with the AOA limiter and dodging every single missile launched at him but the F/D-14 doesn't have it

this is what absolute legends listen to when dogfighting at 10,000ft, asides the continuous . this is pure perfection that no triple A company chior can ever hope to achieve.

Kings meets Daredevil meets Unsung War meets White Devil.
And fucking hell is it the most glorious combination I've ever heard.
If you listen to Coronation after this, it sounds like Monarch won that tourney, but it wasn't a gratifying victory. So many good aces lost.
That seems to be part of the theme overall with Monarch's story. Unbeatable ace, but so many lives lost as proof. So much skill, practice, training, lost in every burst of gunfire, and so much potential gone in the blast of every missile hit.

Now THIS is a tournament worth seeing in this day and age! At the end of which, only one contender is declared the ACE OF (ALL) ACES!

Another amazing piece, if I close my eyes I can see the furball taking place. The insane manuverability of these aces as they dance through the skies...The near misses and grazing hits...The only thing I can't see is the end.

Ok I know I've been critical before but from about 2:00 until 3:15 is probably the single best rendition of the Razgriz theme I have ever heard... And a seamless transition into Zero yet again, as is honestly just what I expect now.
Please turn that into a full cover it would be SO good.

I'm sorry, but AC5 is always going to be my sweetest child. As much as I love all the other ones, I got goosebumps when Unsung War happened!
The blending for the intro into that half moment pause before "Kings" with vocals into the Summer Skies theme is just... inspired...

I totally love the Summer Skies part from 1:30 to around 2:10. It has this adventurous epic quality of jet fighters performing death defying aerial maneuvers while dodging missile attacks and engaging in dogfighting.
Dude, the DCS multiplayer campaign that it was commissioned for captures that feeling PERFECTLY, especially since you're doing it with over 20 other players all flying together in like, four different Osean squadrons.
That Kings vocals just make the entirety of PW and AC fan hype up

Me playing the SP mission in ACX 1 with an F22 on Ace difficulty knowing well im gonna fail the mission in less than 3 minutes :
