  • This is a one year review of the Supernote A6X. Is it worth it? I wanted to share my experience of the Supernote A6X a year or so after purchasing and using it. I think it's still great. I still use it for taking notes and writing scripts for my main RUclips channel. I like the writing experience and continue to use the device.
This will probably be the final video on this channel, but I just wanted to provide some closure.

Thanks so much for the follow up - as someone with a lifetime of half-finished notebooks littering my past 😅, this rang true😂. I know that there will be times when I don’t use it - but I love that when I need to pick up productivity and organise myself - it will be there ready to help. Love the cute baby in the background too! ❤

Your videos helped me decide to buy an A5x last year. Super helpful! I also agree 100% with what you said in this video. Thanks!

I've had my A5X since June last year, and it took me a while to replace my notebook and planner at work with it. I've finally done it though. Hopefully I'll stick with using it, but you're right, sometimes you stop using things as much, and that's fine.

I was worried about the portability of the A5X too - BUT: I can promise you it is totally portable (and I am not Arnold Schwarzenegger, I am a petite woman.).
I recently received it, since then I took it with me for travels and on the go, in the subway etc. where I can always be productive now. It fits perfectly in my purse. Of course it would not if I went to a festive event and I just had a clutch. But then I wouldn't wanna work on my Supernote anyways.
It definitely isn't bulky nor heavy. I would even say it is not that much bigger than the A6X.
But the little size difference makes a HUGE improvement for working on it in my opinion (I also had a chance to take a look on the A6X to compare both).

I've listened to many of your videos and have appreciated them, so will try to ensure I do see all of them. As they say, so many will still be able to benefit from your insights, so it is good that they will be up for hopefully a long while, so others benefit.. If you are about half full that means by the time you do get close to full, there will be the A4X2 size just in time for you to get that and you will be able either to not buy the pen again and save that money, or buy the newer version so you have one for each device.
What I did when deciding on which device to buy is take the price with tax and divide by 365 days to equal the year of warranty and then figure is it worth that cost? Then after the year one can think all use will be free. So if I do get an A6X2 it would be with the nebula design leather case. I wish they had that design choice also for the A5X2 or the A4x2 and I would like to wait for the largest size option. I also say thanks for your videos and find what you say makes a LOT of sense.

I don't get excited about writing in a notebook, it's just something i do every day for work. So, the SN is a good fit for me to organize n search my notes vs paper.

Interesting - as I wait for my A6X2, I (over the past 4 years) have found myself using my reMarkable more and more over time. I use it more than I use the computer that sits on my desk.

    hello i have a question
Which is the best device for you among these three devices in terms of reading pdf books and writing feel?
Super Note A6, Note 2, Nova Air 2

I take notes during work phone calls and business meetings, and need something simple which will convert the writing to text and sync with my phone laptop so I can file them. Don’t need it to do anything else, currently got cabinets full of notebooks which are a pain to then type up.
Not sure wether to get this or the reMarkable 2?
Would appreciate if anyone has a similar use case and could recommend one.

TBH for this use case the Kindle Scribe might be the best for you. It has this feature where you can express send a single page/notebook to your email. You can also choose to convert the handwriting to text then express send that to your email. This is what I do for meeting notes. The notebooks also sync with the apps on iOS/Mac/Android although it is strictly view-only (no converting to text etc from those apps).
The Scribe is one of the best e-ink hardwares and main criticisms for it are mostly it's lacking software (although software is rock solid and fast esp compared to Boox which I also own). I'm optimistic the fancy features will come one day though.

Storage space. Exactly the thing that's caused me concern. I have used notebooks for years. I switched to a Samsung tablet and it's fine; it's not paper at all, but fine. I've been looking at these because of the more paperlike experience. But then I got worried about storage. My Samsung has expandable, and I write daily. Maybe I'll wait a bit longer.

It's great to hear all the pros and cons of the Supernote A6x but to be honest, this could have been a podcast instead of a video, or there could have been more visual information, FWIW.

I went through each one of your videos to see if you ever written or showed any functions and I was surprised that you did not. Now I curious if this is an actual functioning device as described. You continue to show the front screen of your timeline, but why not actually show your audience you wrote that note on the device?

Not quite sure why someone would buy this if they didn't already heavily use a notebook and pen. I guess gadget people; they have drawers full of wasted money. It's good for people to hear this stuff. Maybe it will give someone pause before they invest in more tech.

am tired of these videos , they describe a new product and give first impresion view , for me after trying Super note for 3-5 months , its one of the worst ink pads you can use , its supper slow , the screen wont respond easly after few months of use , oh and pens are of worst Quality , you will have to replce it with very expensive replacemnt ( yes only from them ) , and no need to tell you about support , its te worst , they actually dont have any support.
