    So interesting that so many of us have the same first impressions of the pen and the screen and then they have grown on us!

    Another amazing video that actually answered some of my questions, I really enjoy your videos, I find the 2 finger + scribble = erase super nice, as when I do that in Boox I have to activate AI, but then I usually add little sketches to my notes to help with visual memory, and hashing/shading get miss interpreted as erase scribble, to avoid that I wait 1 second after shading (or disable/enable AI) which I find distracting, both methods are great, but Supernote approach give it more flow and natural feeling.

      Thank you for your comment, compliment, and sharing your perspective. As someone who is not an artist, I would have never thought of the hatching example and it being recognized as a scribble erase. While the two finger erase isn't perfect, it works for me most of the time. I do know there are still a few inconsistencies, especially on the A6X2. Thanks again for the comment.

    I’ve had the Nomad (A6X2) now for just over four weeks. Compared to other more, “high end,” looking e-ink devices, one could think the Nomad looks like a toy. In fact, the Nomad is a device that I feel I’m not supposed to like if I were to compare it to other devices. Nor was it my first choice when I started looking into e-ink writing tablets a couple of months ago. But I do like it, and looks in this case are deceiving. (It does indeed look good on its own, btw.)
    I find the Nomad to be a highly functional device for what it’s designed to do. I appreciate writing with it more than I do physical pen and paper or a full-on tablet (e.g., my wife’s iPad Air 5 with an Apple Pencil). Just open the Nomad and start writing! The feel of writing is natural to me and has been since I received it (I have a light writing hand).
    So, yes, I firmly agree with your assessment of the Nomad as a note taker and writing tablet. Being retired, I will never use it in a professional environment. So the size is perfect for me, though I can appreciate why many would prefer the real estate of a larger device. For me, portability is king.
    One thing I will say about the device and Ratta in general is the company’s adherence to repairability and modularity. That is one of the aspects that sold me on Supernote that I think sets it apart from other devices, at least at this point in time.
    So here’s to what I hope will be many years of meaningful usefulness of this electronic tool!!

    Thank you for the review.
    I have watched several reviews about the Supernote A6 X2 Nomad and almost all of them claimed that this device is almost perfect. But that is misleading, since it is not perfect at all.
    No one talks about it’s flaws:
    - like the cover design issue; you can wake up the Supernote by opening the cover (which feature I don’t want to turn off), but there are no magnets keeping the cover in place, so it opens easily and then drains the battery
    - if you do not turn the wifi off, you need to charge the device in every 4 days (1h/day average usage)
    - or the software bugs (you can see the lagging in this video too); I reported a bug while connecting to wifi the Supernote claims that the network password is incorrect but after three attempts it accepts it. I got no answer from the support team yet.
    So it would be nice to see a video about its flaws too.

      Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and leaving a comment. I would encourage you to take a look at several of my other videos and my most recent blog listed in the description of this video. I don't want to minimize any of the challenges you have but also recognize that not everyone may have the same experience. You will see that I have several videos on the A6X2 and am honest about my experiences with it. This is the first in a series of videos about the overall experience of the device. For this particular video, I tried to be very clear that this was focused solely on the notetaking experience.
      I find that I could go an entire week with several hours of use a day with Wi-Fi and real-time handwriting recognition notebooks. I also know that some users have had different experiences. I have found the same to be true with the cover. I have not experienced it coming open, but then again I think it is because I intentionally put it so that the weight in my bag keeps it closed. As for lag, I am not quite sure what you are referring to and if it was the device or user error. All I can say regarding support is that you might be able to jump into the Reddit community and see if that can help move the process along if you are having issues hearing back.
      Again, thank you for reaching out and I hope you keep watching.

      Thanks for sharing this. I have gotten used to that momentary lag when you first start to write on a note and know Supernote is working to address it in the next update. You are right that I should have mentioned it, but as you can see from the rest of the video, it isn't persistent. Thanks again!

    I agree it's the perfect size for portability, but _'I would have thought'_ the use of the left slider only really lends itself to sitting at a desk, as standing you'll have the A6X2 in one hand and your pen in the other... but maybe I'm wrong, it wouldn't be the first time.
    I'm interested in any methods or _'tricks'_ people might might learned regarding the use of the Supernote platform. I used to have a single notebook which I linked to the 'quick access slider' within which I had *all my* to-dos, each todo accessed by a headings function [Project 1, Project 2, Project3 etc...] but soon realised that by so doing, I'd lost some of the benefits of the platform.
    Now I have a to-dos folder within which I have numerous notepads [Project 1, Project 2, Project3 etc...] and a single notepad called _'to-dos'_ added to the 'quick access slider' within which are links to each of my 'project notepads'.
    Now I just have to open _'to-dos'_ in the 'quick access slider' where I see all my project links, and when I enter a 'project' I have all of the platforms functionality, the main being 'headings'.
    It may appear simple and indeed it is, but just that one thing has helped me so much which has had me wondering,,, if others use the platform in a way that has benefitted them?

    • @Change-1820
      @Change-1820  9 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the comment. That is a good point about the dual slider that I haven't considered since my use is primarily writing on a desk or my lap in most cases. Also, thanks for sharing your tip, that is a great use of the quick access panel.

    Feel write 2 is really a game changer

    • @Change-1820
      @Change-1820  8 месяцев назад

      @VladimirKostek, I think you are 100 percent correct. I have to admit that I miss some of the hardware improvements on the A6X2 but since applying the FeelWrite 2 to my A5X, I see the overall function as very comparable and wouldn't suggest anyone upgrade if their needs are being met. Chasing the latest and greatest is a losing battle. That being said, I would suggest waiting for the A5X2 if you are just entering the space and need a larger canvas.

    Hi, I’m planning to get supernote nomad and I’m into retractable pens. Is the supernote push up pen good or HOM2 is better? I’ll only get 1 pen for nomad due to budget. Thanks!

    • @Change-1820
      @Change-1820  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the support and question. I really think it comes down to preference. I own both pens and love them. The ceramic nib is the same on both. However, the HOM just feels more premium and like you are using a high end pen. The retractable pen is lighter and to me extremely convenient because you don't have to remove a cap. It is also less expensive. Sorry I can't give you a simple answer, but I really do like them both. If you do decide to purchase, I would appreciate you using the referral link in the video. It doesn't cost any extra but would help me out. Thanks again for watching.

    Can you connect a USB keyboard to the Supernote? I hate bluetooth, but I really want to use a keyboard.

    • @Change-1820
      @Change-1820  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you for your support and question. As far as I know, the USB-C is just for charging but I could be wrong. Supernote is working on a Desktop app that will allow your computer keyboard to pass through over your wireless network. It is still in beta and I talked about it briefly in the livestream I did with @KitBetts-Masters. I hope this helps.
