I love it when Barenboim is sort of dancing at 2:30. It makes me enjoy his style of conducting.

I've seen this a few times live and always, at the end of this movement, people crack and start clapping. They just cannot contain...only to discover the intense 4th movement is coming.

People clap at the end of the third movement as an historically informed tradition. Legend has it that the audience at the premier performance of this piece at Saint Petersburg also clapped before the final movement, similarly believing it was the end.

I love how barenboim has so characteristic movements and actions :D you can really recognize him by the way he moves. Like at 0:21 when he gets down

I love this movement so much. Listening to brass part, you find Tchaikovsky's obsession with Beethoven’s "Fate motif" everywhere.

Definitively the camera men and the recording director doesn't like's Baremboim, only a little view of conductor in the excerpt, Baremboim is not so boring conducting, unnaceptable.
