    3:30 I heard a theory from someone that The Traveler's Dull Sword IS actually his original starlight sword, but just like the Narzissenkreuz Sword, it is Traveler's will that is missing to let it regain its former power & luster & looks. Basically traveler lost his identity and has amnesia so his sword can't manifest 100% of its power and is in 'standby' mode.

      I mean, it could even be, it would have to change its entire shape when activated though, which is somewhat what other weapons do when they are enhanced, only they change just a little bit.
      It kinda feels weird as a theory, not gonna lie, but it's better than him just picking the worst possible sword in existence and sticking with it for no reason at all! XD

    I doubt that Dainsleif is ''evil'' he may have questionable motives and means but he said it during the travail trailer. ''Defeat me, command me to step aside. Show me that you are worthier than I to rescue her''
    While I still unsure if it's Lumine he talk about . (Bc of the french version of the travelers description.
    To remind you, it mention that someone should save The keeper ''presumably Susty'') even if it's most likely to be her.
    That doesn't seem like an enemy but rather an ''ally'' with whom you have a divergent opinion but rather an ''ally'' with whom you have a divergent opinion.

      Maybe he's not entirely evil, like he's not worse than Dottore basically, but I wouldn't really exclude the possibility that we've been meeting the actual, biggest, endgame enemy since the beginning of the game without even knowing it. I mean, it would be a massive twist, that's for sure, even though he's been sus since the beginning...
      As for the one that needs to be saved, I honestly don't think it's Lumine. It's not like she's in really in danger, she's doing what she wants to do of her own volition, so it's not much about saving her, but more about convincing her to join us, which is different. Maybe the French version did spoil the game, since I think Susty is a shade and she's been "enslaved" by the Heavenly Principles that she now has to sustain. If Dainsleif, as someone who lived in the ruins of the Unified Nation, sees the Primordial One as the only true god (which would explain his hatred for the gods), then he would want to save Susty, but at the same time, is the Primordial One a good god? Is the Second who came and the Heavenly Principles the actual evil ones? These were the questions from my last video about the Order and Harmony of Teyvat, and that video seems to have been quite fitting in 4.7.
      I do think they'll blow our minds in 4.7, there will be so much happening, I'll end up with a 1h long video.... I'm already sweating just thinking about editing it....

    Personally, I have a different perception of the relationship between Dain and Lumine compared to yours. Lumine seems to be discovering the truth about the world and a sad reality that is slowly changing her, which Dain is worried about. In the end, she is taking this as a serious mission and not as an adventure, which results in her deciding to become "the princess." On the other hand, Aether is on this adventure with great ignorance of the world, which Paimon supports, but it is not something serious (yet).

      I mean, it's all about interpretation. We've watched a video where no one spoke, we are interpreting the body language, so we are bound to have different interpretations, also based on what we think about the characters involved. As someone who doesn't trust Dainsleif, I just don't see him being worried at all, I see a cold person who doesn't care about Lumine's feelings and just constantly looks at her from a distance, as if he doesn't want to have anything to do with her, but still needs to go on a journey with her.
      4.7 will shed some light, since this video was supposed to explain Dainsleif's quest

  • @ambieee
    @ambieee 4 месяца назад +8

    7:41
    Interesting cause I interpreted it less like an order and more like Dain just being an awkward guy. We see him being physically distant from Lumine but I also think that can be said of their emotional distance from each other. Dain is watching Lumine which means he sees her in emotional distress but never comforted her (mostly likely due to him feeling depressed over losing his comrades in the fall of khaenri'ah). Lumine looked more determined and I assumed that that was the moment she decided on pursuing her goals without Dain.
    18:24
    omg same, Dain is giving me sus vibes but only because of that line from the trailer where he asks aether if he thought lumine betrayed him! like not once has aether ever felt betrayed, sure he feels sad and lonely and confused but he NEVER resented lumine for her actions or thought she left him willingly. you dont travel a handful of nations and save said nations for scarps of info about someone you felt betrayed you.

    • @ShadowXImpact
      @ShadowXImpact  4 месяца назад +2

      We are bound to interpret the video according to what feels right to us. In my case, as I said in the video, I don't trust Dainsleif, so I don't see him being awkward, he feels intentionally distant. But again, it's a matter of interpretation.
      Yes, exactly, that question doesn't make sense at all, apparently. Yes, she left Aether back in Liyue, but that's not betrayal, she literally told him she would have been waiting for him. Now, unless something happens in 4.7 that will feel like she betrayed him, I really do feel like Dainsleif has been tricking us in all sorts of manners, in order to achieve something for himself, something he could achieve with Lumine because she left him for Chlothar, and we know that he has his own goal now...
      I can't wait to play the quest and find out!!!!

    I am kind of thinking that Halfdan was "saved" because of our presence. Dain was genuinely puzzled and surmised a "higher power" must have been at work. We were also present for the planting of the Sacred Sakura, could Isteroth arranged that? And Ei says Makoto might have been saved if we were there. Why would she say that? I get the feeling the Archons see something in us we are not quite aware of...

    • @ShadowXImpact
      @ShadowXImpact  4 месяца назад

      I don't really think we're making that kind of difference in Teyvat. If the Traveler was curing the curse without even trying, then Dainsleif and every single hilichurl we fought, would have been saved as well. Haldan, instead, jumped on a device that amplified the powers present in the fountain of the Unified Nation, something created by the Primordial One basically, and that was able to lift the curse, just like the Sinner did, which has always made me think he's Phanes...
      The Gods do see something in the traveler, he's obviously out of the ordinary and beyond the rules of Teyvat, it's not like he kept it a secret with his actions

    That area that Aether and Lumine meet in does sorta feel like it could be a domain of some sort, or a dream in the sense that it’s some sort of mental world constructed for them to meet. I wonder if that area has anything to do with Egeria or Remus, since they’re related to both Fontaine and Sumeru. Remus probably isn’t from the Girdle of the Sands because Deshret never conquered it, so he might have been from somewhere around the Desert of Hadramaveth where those flowers may have been from.
    When you mentioned Lumine talking to someone, honestly the first person that came to mind was Enjou. That’s probably not correct, but it would be nice to meet him again.
    Even though that area with the planets is just an Imaginarium Theater stage, it is curious why it looks like that, of all things. It could be related to Alice or even Barbeloth’s work, but it’s still a very strange visual for Genshin. I kind of expect that rift in the sky to open up into a diamond shape like the portals the Sustainer uses or the eyes of Khanri’ahns. The color scheme’s also an interesting choice. It feels very different from most thorns we’ve seen in the game before. It reminds me a little bit of the colors and visuals related to the Finality in Honkai, so I wonder what it’s supposed to be connected to in Genshin.

    • @ShadowXImpact
      @ShadowXImpact  4 месяца назад +2

      It could be, but I'll keep hoping for the Celestia floating island. I mean, we're right under it, just let us go up there already!!! XD
      as for Remus, he was a singer of the oases, and the oases belonged to Nabu Malikata (at least as far as I know), reason why I think he was a Jinni, so the plants that are both in that place and in the Garden of Pairidaeza do make sense. If anything, that place looks more related to Nabu Malikata than anything else, and she was cast away from the Heavens, she could see where she came from and she felt as if it was calling for her, but she couldn't come back there, which, again, maybe it's actually Celestia?
      Enjou does make sense, actually. Do you remember a few months ago, that Web Event with Lumine and Enjou discussing about Aether's travels with Paimon? Enjou even made some comments about Dainsleif, so maybe you're right.
      That challenge area is very interesting. Every area is supposed to be a segment of the present, so it may end up being relevant to the lore. The color just gives me Quantum or Void vibes, to be honest. I just read the part where Kevin and the other Mantises fought the Final Herrscher, and yeah, it's a similar vibe.
      I'm really curious to see what it'll be about, and if every stage will give us some pieces of lore, not just during the event, but also everytime it updates with new stages. That would be sick, but also very smart!

    • @gyannunez
      @gyannunez 4 месяца назад

      @@ShadowXImpact I did think about Nabu Malikata, but I didn’t mention her because she doesn’t have any known connection to Fontaine, so I didn’t know how to tie her into it further.
      I actually didn’t do that web event. I guess I never noticed it. That’s really strange for me.
      Quantum tends to fall more in the shades of indigo and violet, so this feels a little too purple to me. Other than Sirin purple the powers of the Void are depicted as yellow and black, which might further tie it to the Imaginary, which uses black and gold(sometimes light yellow), since the Herrscher of the Void controls Imaginary Space. Honkai energy is usually shown as pink/magenta. This to me feels more like Finality purple, which is present all in the various manifestations of Finality shown in the game.
      Yes, I have thought about these colors and their associations a lot before, how’d you know? lol
      One reason I’ve thought about it before is because that Myriad Celestia trailer about Izumo, where color was sometimes the main way the Sentinels relationship to the Herrschers was conveyed. For example, all 3 Herrschers of Reason’s powers are shown with different colors, Welt Joyce gold (Void Archives also uses this color), Welt Yang red, and Bronya blue. The corresponding Sentinel used Bronya blue as opposed to the other colors.

      @@gyannunez the connection with Fontaine is pretty simple: Khvarena.
      Khvarena has three mothers: Nabu Malikata, Rukkhadevata and Egeria, so I suppose these three gods had some sort of relationship in the past.
      I might be wrong (even though it's just a few pages back), but isn't that purple very similar to the Honkai energies on the back side of the moon? Which again, ties back to the Final Herrscher, since it's her powers that she was stripped of, so yeah. Maybe it's hinting at some kind of ending in general rather than the Finality specifically?
      It's too early for me to be able to make these kinds of connections between Honkai Impact and the other two games. I know that the Sentinels hint at the Herrschers, but the colors are a little bit too much for me right now XD
      I'm getting there, slowly but surely! But yeah, who knows how I managed to correctly guessed that you thought about the colors and their associations before!! XD

    • @ShadowXImpact
      @ShadowXImpact  4 месяца назад

      @@gyannunez by the way, just saying, it's interesting that the fire prince that the 2nd Herrscher sent was called Agata... The devs really wanted to associate that name with fire it seems.
      While when it comes to Galina.... I have been holding myself, because if you add another "L", it basically means "hen" in Italian....
      "I know you, you're the one who broke my hen!" XD

    • @gyannunez
      @gyannunez 4 месяца назад

      @@ShadowXImpact Yeah, it could just be the relationship between Nabu Makikata and Egeria. Those flowers are so specific that it’s hard to really try to connect it to anyone else besides Deshret, Nabu Malikata, and Rukkhadevata. I guess Remus and Egeria are just so fresh in my mind that my thoughts gravitated towards them. It might also be because of the old wound in my heart that Dainsleif never went to Enkanomiya like I thought he might because of the unified civilization architecture and the plants and colors shown in the 3.5 trailer. Back then it was Enkanomiya, now it’s Remuria. Only the Chasm will get Dainsleif, it seems.
      The colors are just something I’ve thought about from a visual design and branding perspective before. It’s useful to be able to recognize a character just from a color, or make a connection between two characters by giving them the same color. Colors are used for concepts and characters, and there’s only so many distinct enough colors to use, so there’s bound to be some overlap. Finality is definitely purple but so is like lightning so yeah it’s easy to confuse them. For me I just associate that type of purple more with Finality and I tend to associate Quantum with indigo and violet.
      Thinking about it, that’s related to the word for chicken hen in Portuguese, galinha, which is kinda funny. I’ve never thought about that in relation to Galina before.
      Another connection is the Crimson Agate from Dragonspine, which alifnside the Scarlet Quartz seems to have the power of Pyro within it.

    • @ShadowXImpact

      Honestly, I don't really have an actual explanation about it. The best I can give you is the fact that in gnosticism, the Aeon Sophia caused the creation of soul and matter, which are Pneuma and Ousia, so they gave a similar concept to Egeria since she created a new race of humans that weren't really full humans, just like Sophia's demiurge created the imperfect world and the imperfect humans

    It's been a long while since i last saw your video's but damn it's good to see it again
    Well for starters I don't think dain is evil but I don't think he is good either why? Well because he is half monster (without monsters instinct) and he has been very calculative towards what he told us and what he want us to see what he wants to show and people think we just find it somehow
    Dain for most part has been a very enigmatic NPC a well designed one more like Kevin kaslana if you remember that guy you should understand what type of personality I'm talking about
    And why I don't think he is evil? Well because he is directly talking to us about saving "her" whoever it is (probably the loom of fate) is in pain or is being used by abyss order probably a royal blood of black Sun and to change the fate of the world is in our hands and dain acknowledge that he can't do that himself which is why the final doorway is for us to open or let them stay closed which may explain why he tells us not to trust archons tho they plan to oppose the heavens dain want us to not trust them or make them cautious but unlike what dain says archons are just like anyone else hiding a portion of truth but trusting aether with the important thing's most think of us as their friend
    Lastly i believe we fight dain because we don't align with the way he want things to be which maybe why his death is a important factor to change the history of teyvat and to finally set free the Phanes, the 3rd and many others like us

      @@ShadowXImpact I don't think her being the new heart of the primordial sea = her creating the living beings in teyvat. Together, they also created flowers, grass, and trees, before finally creating humans - our ancestors, numerous as the stars in the sky". We don't know if that was before or after the shade of life created Egeria.
      Also in Masquerade of the Guilty it was said that Egeria did not have the power to create life. She used the primordial sea to give the Oceanid humanoid bodies then got locked by Celestial for sinning by using the power of the sea.

    I have objections to the analysis of the relationship between Dain and Lumnīn.
    First of all, Dain will be a playable character. This means that Dain cannot be in conflict with Travler.
    Dain may have wanted to help and support Lumine, but was most likely rejected by Lumine. All Dain could do in that situation is to be nearby and watch from the sidelines. Seeing Lumine's emotions, that is most likely the case. She is overwhelmed with great grief and does not want anyone to interrupt her.
    It also happens in life that someone who is overwhelmed with grief or depression refuses to accept your support and all you can do is be nearby and help when needed.
    Dain cannot provide emotional support to Lumine if she does not want it, but that in no way makes him a villain.
    It can also be self-punishment. Lumine was a witness to the mass destruction and possibly blames herself for it. Therefore, she believes that she does not deserve support or friendship, that she herself has to fix what she did. Maybe that's why she went to travel the world to fix what can be fixed.

You probably see Dainsleif in a different way than me, so you can't see him being a bad guy, while I do, so you interpret the whole video in a completely different way. We're going to find out what their relationship was very soon, since that video is related to the Archon Quest.
      Also, remember that Scaramouche is one of the playable characters, and he's definitely been in conflict with the traveler. I mean, his mission in Mondstadt was to dispose of the traveler, and he tried to do it two more times, one on Watatsumi Island and one in Sumeru.

    I do doubt we'll move things on too much because why would they rush now? I'm sure they have the timing worked out. The stuff about whether you trust your Twin presumably is a reference to finding out something about the Sibling which seems like they might have betrayed you - but not really. Sadly I don't think Dainsleif betrays the Traveler either. Though I agree about him broadly I don't think this game has any nice characters turning out to be nasty.

    When in comes to dain he really is just a giant bias when it comes to khaenriah like apep and neuvillette have more of a reason to hate the gods since they literally had their rightful homes stolen from them but apep to do anything to nahida because she thinks that it’s pointless and because nahida doesn’t want to make the same mistake like Celestia and wants to prove to apep she’s not all that bad and neuvillette even worked for a “god” for 500 years or at least he thought he did but he still cared abt folcalors even if she didn’t really know her the god and only got to know furina her human counterpart but with dain he really just hates the gods just for no reason he says that we shouldn’t trust them, but we’ve actually met them in our close friends with five of them well kinda 4 in actuality but I’m gonna say five because I still think furinas a archon in my heart (please don’t correct me I’m delusional) anyways what Dain says abt the gods and how the gods actually are contradicts his original statement about not trusting them but none of the archons don’t really have any flies that warrants us not to trust them I mean ye venti is a little sus but it feels more so that he’s hiding something for the greater good and will only reveal it at the appropriate time and with zhongli he’s the most honest of the seven but when I tell any information is bounded by a contract but anything else he will talk abt as for ei well she’s ei… but nahida is by far the most trustworthy she’s opening an honest about her opinions and about the research that she’s done she cares more about her safety than hers and isn’t as bound to celestial like the rest of the seven hour mostly because she’s never actually seen or have been controlled by them so she doesn’t really know the consequences of defying them but like apep says she will in time but I don’t think that’s going to stop her and for folcalors well I’m not exactly sure furina did put all her trust in her to be able to save Fontaine her entire 500 year performance but folcalors definitely gives off the deceiving character trope but when it comes to trust, I actually think I trust her I mean, she made good deal with her promise with furina and returned one of the dragon authority’s so I’d say that she’s innocent trustworthy we don’t know about the other two and we have to wait and see but ye what the archons do contradicts dains original statement about not trusting the god and yet the gods of teyvat only want the best for their people and care about the safety of their nation when I also found interesting is how I think pierro and dain could actually be different from what everybody expects them to be we are led to believe that dain is the righteous person and is on the good side and that pierro is on the bad but in actuality, it could be possible that dain is the true one who has malicious intentions and pierro is the one with the true intentions of helping the tsaritsa and saving teyvat but I don’t believe dain it’s just downright evil, especially since in the travail he monologues a bunch of random stuff that I really can’t get into right now and says about rescuing “her” since aether is the primary traveler for most of the content of Genshin the “her” he’s talking abt could be lumine I’m not completely ruling him out as being a bad guy and as for the explanation on why him and lumine I like to believe that he doesn’t really know how to comfort her and thinks that giving her space is the best option he doesn’t really seem like the emotion type of character is more reserved then upfront but with Paimon she’s very talkative and upbeat and only once the best for everyone and is silly I think it’s more so in terms of characters on why both of the traveler twins journeys were different because they had companions that were kind of opposites of each other
    Abt clorinde she’s mommy and I want her but I’m more likely to get sigewinne because she’s adorable
    Abt sigewinne she’s adorable, and I will be pulling
    Abt sethos he’s irrelevant honestly
    Abt furina I don’t think they showed her looking at that sword for no reason to me I actually do believe that she can fight in some sense since she’s pretty much the physical body of a god with no memory of her past of being one it’s possible she does have some muscle memory I am a firm believer that folcalors is really noticeable in combat, but chooses not to fight because it’s not her thing and if her gnosis is a knight then it what makes sense if she had combat knowledge and furina could also have that muscle memory like deyha in the archon quest when she kept getting hit but eventually learned to dodge that move even though the dream, reset it every end of the day so it’s possible furina could have that too also I’m so waiting for this girl. Second story request where she remembers her past of being an archon like omfg hoyo in terms of archon lore in Fontaine we nearly have nothing we don’t know anything about folcalors anything we do know about her it’s just assumptions on how furina acts and we still yet to have lore on egeria in folcalors perspective or her relevance to furina since current archons like ei and nahidas story quest also reveal some lower about the previous Arons as well so it would be really disappointing if she does and we pretty much learn nothing about egeria or possibly her memories of being folcalors
    Anyways awesome video❤️

      so, my theory is still the same: the people of Khaenri'ah lived in a nation built on the ruins of a section of the Unified Nation, that much was confirmed by Dainsleif himself. We know that they are aware that the gods, the Heavenly Principles and the Second who came are not the original gods, that there was someone before them, an original one, the Primordial One, and that was confirmed by Enjou because he told us they had been looking for Before Sun and Moon ever since Enkanomiya's seal was broken and they started to have contacts with the surface. So, the Khaenri'ahns, much like the Enkanimiyan when Orobashi arrived, probably believe in the Primordial One as the one, true god, so everything else is a fake and they mustn't bow down to them, which would explain why they hate the gods and the Heavenly Principles. Are they right in doing so? I honestly don't think so. The gods have proved themselves to be good, excluding Ei's 500 years of suffering. Venti is the definition of sus, and that's because he clearly has some secrets that need to be kept as such. Zhongli is strange, because he was the, let's say, leader of the Archons, the most righteous one, but he still agreed to a contract with the Tsaritsa to give her his Gnosis, and we know that she wants to defeat the Heavenly Principles. Nahida is pure love. She's probably the closest to the Heavenly Principles, to be honest. She's the only one who hasn't considered defying them, differently from the other 4 we met, but that's probably because her role is to preserve Teyvat, since she's the avatar of Irminsul, so rebelling would just cause the destruction of the world. Still, she is, indeed, the most trustworthy, she's an open book and she will tell us everything, probably even things that she shouldn't say. One thing you said was wrong though: technically, she never met the Heavenly Principles (but how did she ascend to Archonhood, though?), but in the new reality, she remembers everything Rukkhadevata experienced as if she experienced those things herself, so she should believe to have met them, she should have received those memories. Focalors was a trickster kind of character, but her goal was to save the people of Fontaine, so she proved herself to be a good God. Too bad we never really interacted with her directly, but only with Furina. The Traveler basically never met her.
      So, Dainsleif's statement that the Gods are evil, is just his biased opinion. Unlike the Traveler, he never gave the Gods a chance.
      There is a chance that Dainsleif is the bad guy and Pierro is the good guy, although I think they are both evil, but when it comes to "saving her", I don't think he means Lumine. I think he's trying to save someone else, maybe that one person he lost in Khaenri'ah or even someone more important than Lumine, someone that needs to be saved and that will affect the entire world. It would be too easy if he was talking about Lumine, to be honest, it's too sus... It's not like she needs saving anyway, she's fine, she's doing what she wants, she's not really in danger. It sounds more like he's talking about someone who is in desperate need of saving, like someone who's imprisoned and is risking her life.
      I thought about pulling both Clorinde and Sigewinne because the first one is just sick, and the second is adorable, but I think I'll just pull Clorinde. I mean, does Sigewinne feel like a 5 star character, honestly? chances are that Sethos will feel more like a 5 star character than her.... plus, I don't even use bow users, so it would be better to save for Natlan or for whoever comes out in the next update (if we're not going straight to Natlan, that is).
      We don't really know if Focalors was a fighter, though. she felt more like a nerd that can come up with an absurd plan while growing barnacles on her body. Still, Furina and that sword will mean something. There's also that purple smoke in Clorinde's quest that will be very important, so maybe Furina will have to fight to save herself. That look could also be her defeating her first enemy and being shocked as a consequence...
      I think we will end up learning something about Focalors if we ever get to meet Egeria, which has to happen sooner or later, I'm basically certain of it at this point. Egeria could explain why she picked Focalors and maybe tell Furina a little bit about her. It would be nice at least. Egeria is basically Furina's mother, if we think about it....
      Anyway, I'm happy you liked the video!!!

      @@ShadowXImpact meh I wouldn’t say nahida is the closest to the heavenly principles it’s just that she doesn’t have any experience being under their control and there is no “new” reality in teyvat since irminsul doesn’t change things from the past only erases them the 3.3 quest line made it very clear that despite scara being erased from irminsul the things of the past that he did were still done by him it’s just that it’s been obscured irminsul doesn’t rewrite reality only record it and based on its data of the past and present it predict a future that’s most accurate to a persons fate so no nahida didn’t inherit any of ruhkkadahvatas memories I’m pretty sure it was said that she doesn’t remember after the last five years after we erased ruhkkadahvata do that part was false
      As for pierro and dain I think you’re really just desperate for a genuine evil character but the reality of the matter is, I don’t think that’s what Genshin is going for whether it’s pierro or dain they are very clearly not evil, but are just mysterious people who hide a lot of secrets and have their own intentions an evil person is someone who generally psychotic and does bad things for their pure enjoyment but for pierro and dain they’re not like that dain even felt remorse for the people of khaenriah and the only reason he wanted to stop to device is because he didn’t want the hulichurls and abyss knights to die in such a agonizing way it wasn’t fair to them it could’ve been possible that it did work for all of them but it would’ve been an excruciating experience, especially how slow it was taking as for pierro we don’t really have any clear evidence that he’s really evil or just a general bad guy he’s just morally gray that’s it it’s the same for dain it’s the same for arlecchino that’s just there character that’s what makes them so great the fact that they’re so complicated on whether they’re good or bad is what makes there characters interesting so the truth of the matter, they all just morally gray even the shogun puppet and scara there morally gray characters two the only real genuine evil characters in the game are really the ones not seen in them dottore is the closest we have to a evil character the abyss is also the closest we have to evil as well but just because a character gives off bad vibes and isn’t just pure good doesn’t mean that they’re evil character pierro who we haven’t even met yet im 100% certain that he’s not evil because for one thing, he’s the only one who actually humbled himself and said “hey maybe we shouldn’t use a Bissell knowledge that’s not from this world that has been shown time time again to have corrupt others and we have no control over” and then the king of khaenriah just said “lol loser we still gonna do it even if what you’re bringing up is completely true and correct” like that’s not evil that’s just concerned I don’t know why you’re so hung up on the fact of pierro being this all right, bad guy, but I don’t think you genuinely believe that I think you’re just hoping that that he is because I want an evil character to be honest I want an evil character dottore can only take us so far but pierro and dain definitely not evil. Do they have their own intentions that could possibly leave us to disagree with them and eventually fight them oh most definitely one of which is confirmed by the fact that we have to fight dain as for the her dain is referring to literally who else could it be? yes dain has been distant to lumine even on there journey, but they have to have built some sort of companionship over that time especially they’ve been sticking together for so long But I do agree with you Dain is definitely hiding something and is somewhat a antagonist to our story but evil? I think we’re going to be too far with that one.

      @@isaiahhaley4816 no, I have to correct you. Irminsul deletes memories, but also created new ones to make everything coherent. Nahida believes she's been the only even Dendro Archon of Sumeru. Everything we know of the true history of Sumeru, in her head is something she experienced in first person, like Deshret, Nabu Malikata and so on. She believes she has the body of a child, because she used her powers "again" to save Irminsul, which means that she believes she was the one to help Deshret and the desert when he brought Forbidden Knowledge. The fact that she is inexperienced, doesn't really make sense at all, because for all she knows, she's been alive for thousands of years. How can she be inexperienced? So yeah, Irminsul doesn't rewrite reality, I did say this countless times in the past and in past videos, but it rewrites memories, reason why Nahida should believe that she has met the Heavenly Principles just like any other Archon seems to have.
      No, she never said that she doesn't remember after the last five years, I've never heard of this. She had a whole set of memories for the past, a fake set of memories, but still memories.
      It's not that I'm desperate for a genuine evil character, Dottore is enough actually, but how can there be an endgame fight without an evil character? this character can also have some kind of repentance after the fight, even though it would be childish, but still, there has to be a nemesis, it can't be all good and nice, and even enemies turn out good people all the time.
      I understand that Dainsleif didn't want the hilichurl to suffer, and he was right, but when he realized that the device worked, wouldn't that spark a tiny bit of hope that the curse could be lifted and the people would be saved? anyone would have seen it as a good thing after seeing the result, but he doesn't, he kept saying that Khaenri'ah shouldn't be revived, and it is weird.
      As for Pierro, things may change, opinions may change. Just because, back in Khaenri'ah, he was opposed to the abyss and to Forbidden Knowledge, doesn't mean that he has to have the same ideas. I mean, wasn't him the one who sent Scaramouche into the Abyss to look for something that he wanted? Isn't Pierro the one who wants to laugh in the face of fate by becoming a fool? Isn't he a Khaenri'ahn who, differently from his compatriots, is serving an Archon he should have despised? We do have proof that he changed ideas.
      As for Dainsleif, the French version of what he says in the Travail video, basically says that "her" is Susty. Remember what I said? Dainsleif, Unified Nation, they believe the Primordial One is the true God, reason why they hate the Archons, Susty is potentially a shade of the Primordial One, and she's now serving the Heavenly Principles because, as her title implies, she sustains them, so her duty is to enforce the ideals of the Heavenly Principles. If she serves them, then we could say that Dainsleif may want to save her, since every higher being that came after the Primordial One, in his eyes, is evil.
      And no, they Dainsleif didn't have to build up some sort of companionship. They knew each other since Khaenri'ah, they met in Mondstadt, they went to Liyue, to Inazuma, to Sumeru, to the Desert and they were heading to Natlan at the end of the video. How long does it take to build some sort of companionship? that's why I think his distance was intentional, like he hates her for what she did in Khaenri'ah, but he had to go with her for whatever reason. We will find out in 4.7, that's for sure.

      @@ShadowXImpact the idea of pierro changing ideas doesn’t make sense since he saw firsthand what forbidden knowledge has done to his nation Forbidden knowledge only leads to destruction of a civilization it happened to deshrets civilization remuria and now khaenriah so I think he knows that it’s something that is beyond control it was even said I think in the artifact set that the tsaritsa and pierro both agreed not to use forbidden knowledge and just because he sent scara into the abyss to find something does it mean that he’s sending him out there to find forbidden knowledge only that he was sent to find something in the abyss there are a lot of untold things that come from the abyss that we may not know about. I don’t know where you got that source from but if it is true then what he wants scara to find has to be something different I mean why would the same man who said that the abyss was beyond control and that they should use an alternative and stop using it and do the same thing he doesn’t seem like a character to have a change in mind that quick I mean he literally saw his civilization get destroyed by the abyss and turn into chaos so I doubt that you would want to use for knowledge or the abyss again what snezhnayas going to defeat, the heavenly principles is something different that any other civilization tried to fight them dead what all those civilizations had in common was the use of abyss and forbidden knowledge but using something outside of the world’s problems isn’t going to be an immediate solution. If anything it’s just going to make things more dire and destructive but using Celestias own foundation of authority against them is something smart especially since we know it’s the remains of the third descender so no pierro not evil I’m sorry but he’s just morally gray just because a character is going to be a final boss. Doesn’t mean that they’re just inherently evil they’re just the main obstacle to get across he may have his own intentions, yes that’s very likely but that doesn’t make him evil and honestly, I think you’re using the wrong word in describing pierro I think the correct term that you’re trying to find is reprobate which is basically a unprincipled person but the archaic meaning is a sinner who is not of the elect and is predestined to damnation which perfectly matches the type of character pierro could be plus defying fate isn’t something new. It’s actually quite commonly used in a lot of tv shows for example I’m recently watching supernatural and they have this whole stick about being free from God and choosing their own fate and there’s this whole idea that people are never truly free and that they are predestined to do something no matter what they do even if they think it’s in their own free will once you actually think about that when you want to break free from that? Imagine your destination in such a horrific way and you try your absolute best to change it but you can’t you want to also defy fate as well? if the priority one is the equivalent to God then they are the one who decides the world’s fate and all the people living in it

      > no, I have to correct you
      The "memories only" crap basically means that nobody understand a good chunk of the lore. You're the only person on the internet that believes that crap and still remembers enough about it to get stuff correct. because it's so mind bogglingly silly.
      > How can she be inexperienced? So yeah, Irminsul doesn't rewrite reality
      I mean it's a ridiculous situation you're in. In effect you have Nahida having artificial memories implanted in her by Irminsul that makes her one of the best informed people in Teyvat, but at the same time all this true data you have to say comes from a completely fake source in some sense. You're the only person I've seen understand so clearly just how fucked up the "memories only" garbage is and still actually believe in it. I mean you literally have the god of wisdom's entire life memories re-written but you claim that's not "rewriting reality" but "only memories". What "only" is there about that? Where does this knowledge come from? it comes out of nothing just by yanking on the Irminsul chain. it's far more weird than just saying the past changes.
      I've seen more and more people beginning to doubt that whole "only memories" crap recently but it's such a taboo thing for people to say out loud without being pounced on that few dare to express doubts.
      > the French version of what he says in the Travail video, basically says that "her" is Susty
      That feels like a bit of a leak thing. Well whatever; I already have been thinking that for a couple of years. But now I'm curious how exactly French manages to mess up so badly as to imply that.
      As to the evil Dainsleif stuff, it's been hard to tell what the game is trying to portray him as in the last 2-3 Dain quests.
