    I made that Butternut Squash soup - I don't have an oven, of course, so I simply pan-roasted the veggies. It was sumptuous!

    Love her and her recipes. Bought a few of her books too. But I have to say, that polythene bag was so unnecessary.

    Ma'am, I loved this entire episode but the best part was when your husband says his mother's cooking was better- no matter what, all men are mamma's boy first. I am from Calcutta India. Namaskar 🙏

    Love your cooking but absolutely hate garlic as I am allergic to it. Makes it difficult here where I live to eat out.

    I wonder if the pate would work if the fish was replaced with cooked chicken or turkey

      Smoked macarel has a strong and distinctive flavour that cooked chicken lacks. Maybe if you'd add a bit of mustard and smoked paprika? Otherwise you'd risk it being very bland, with all that mascarpone.

      @@countkostaki Good luck! Now that I think of it, maybe lemon zest and juice would be a better fit than lime if you go down the mustard and paprika route? Anyways, enjoy your Mary-Berry-Hybrid Pate! :)

    awful plinky plonky sounds, so unnecessary, as is 40 mins in a hot oven,
    how much does that cost? for soup? and what is the point of the plastic bag? Anyway, 3 minute in and still no cooking, just waffle, had enough, gone home
