Finally, the video is online! I'm sorry, that the dress did not fit. But anyway it was a very interesting project and all in all I think it was a success :)
I would say for accessories, go for it! Dresses, I don’t know. It took me so long to find some real Lolita dress and not a replica. I wouldn’t even want to try and find a dress in there again myself.
This whole process was so interesting to watch. My favorites are the wig (the color is gorgeous on you), the necklace and those wrist cuffs. I know they may not be classic lolita cuffs but they are really pretty. What a shame about the dress!! It's not impossible that the size charts were mixed up though, and you saw what you thought you saw at the time. They might have fixed or changed it later. And you gave us a really good overview on what's available!!
Thanks! This wig is my new favorite wig. I love it so much! I also like those wristcuffs but like you said, they don’t look like typical Lolita. So I don’t actually wear them a lot. I don’t have all pink dresses though. So it’s not like I would were them all the times anyways. I am pretty sure I just thought I would do a giveaway or something and then forgot because it was super late when I recorded it. Anyways, tomorrow I release the giveaway video for this dress telling you what to do to win it.
I love that wig! It compliments your eye color so well! The accessories are my favorite. I hope to find a wish haul video of yours that includes some of the tights you found
Hi Brittney, thank you so much. I love that wig too. I ended up selling the shoes because they were too tight. But the backpack is my every day bag now. And I put all the pins from my brand Fluffy Tori on it. I haven’t really done another Wish haul. Except for wigs. Which tights are you talking about? I can maybe link you the video.
Sooooo I have a question. I’m a goth and I’m branching out into gothic Lolita. I love the style and it’s very cute and creepy which I love. My only concern is I have a buzz cut (which I’m growing out) and I don’t want to wear a wig. Do you think my buzz cut will go with gothic Lolita?
I am more sweet lolita so it’s hard to say for Gothic lolita. But lolita fashion in general tends to be very feminine and that usually go with pretty and long hair too. Also you will need some sort of head accessories and that might be harder to pin or hold with a buzz cut. I don’t know what your reasons are not to wear a wig and I don’t recall explicit rules in lolita about hair. But if you are starting a new fashion and want to say you are wearing that fashion, I would try to stick to the more traditional way of wearing it and wear a wig or maybe a big hat to hide your buzz cut for now.
I'm a bit late here, but I personally think a pixie cut would look cute with a Lolita look. Your hair is probably long enough now to get one, too. And because your hair is short, it's a lot easier to dye your hair different colors. I'm sort of interested in what you ended up doing.
Aw, such a shame about the dress being the wrong size for you, you look lovely in lavender. It is a great coord though, for $160-ish it's definitely great value for money. I might give Wish a go next time I need some basics, I like the idea of it arriving here in less than a month and a half, like it can be with AliExpress :P
I will definitely buy some wristcuffs there. Because I picked the cheapest for my challenge but around $20-25 there were some super cute. I find it very hard to find cute wristcuffs and this is one of my favorite type of accessories. I like lavender too but all my lavender don’t match so it’s a nightmare to coordinate :(
I'm really shocked shipping was so quick for you. Every time I have ordered on Wish it has taken foreeever to get. I'm really impressed with your haul. I find Wish stuff is very hit and miss, but yours all seems so good. Also, I am jealous, because I myself got an To Alice replica from Wish. So they do make them. It is really good quality, but it has no tags inside. Also, I don't mind if all the lavenders don't match. Shame about the size though. Also I liked this challenge and your videos were lovely.
Thank you so much. Yes, I think it’s a replica too. No tag but good quality. But I checked the real price and it was the same. So why do a replica if it’s not cheaper?
The ita items aren't too bad. So good to have with any other kind of outfits or when you have to put a lot of stuff in a cute bag that is still big and not like a normal school bag 😊
You were lucky with the shippments ! They already lost several of my small packages lately xD Fortunately, they refund you as soon as you ask them. The experience was a little bit cheated since you are not a beginner ;) You found very cute items, but I'm sure they have the exact same ones on Aliexpress and Taobao. Like you, I really dislike Wish's hidden shipping costs. It is really annoying that we have to add the item first to see how much it costs. To Alice is known to not be the best brand, so I'm not surprised by the quality. I'm worried that beginners would use Wish since your selection are alright xD If you do a tutorial about how to order on Taobao or Lacemarket, I would gladly help you to add French's subtitles. Your new light in your video is super nice, good job Joëlle ! Btw, is the giveaway for Dentelles already finished ?
Yes. I was lucky it was shipped quickly and not lost. I agree I wasn’t a beginner. But I also said I wouldn’t recommend for a beginner. I have never ordered from Taobao myself. So maybe we can do a video with you where you teach me and then how to order directly from Taobao. I didn’t change my light but I have a new camera and that changes! But I need more light but I don’t have the space to put them :( Also no, the Dentelle giveaway is not over. I didn’t had the time to select a winner before I left on my vacation. So if you didn’t participate yet, you can still do it’
Yeah I know you repeated several times to not buy on Wish if one's a beginner. Still, it was amusing to see that your haul was successful. You know, like if someone was driving a super stylish car and tell the beginner "Nah, it's not for you" 😜 don't worry, it wasn't a criticism, just found the gap between what you got and what to do funny ^^ I think the light looks ok. At least, it is 10x better than before ^^ For Taobao, I could, but it would be a little bit like an advertisment for the shopping service I'm using and I'm not sure to be at ease with that, since there are tons of different shopping service out there (and maybe better ones). It was an interesting experiment. Do you think doing the same with Aliexpress would be interesting or would it redundant ?
A lot of people say in their videos « I use this shopping service but there are many others ». So I guess it’s fine unless you are really unhappy about it and then you should change. I could do AliExpress but I know it way better and I know the good shops and all, so it won’t be so much of a challenge. But what I could do is find the same items and compare the prices for example.
FluffyKawaiiJo I'm not sure I'm 100% satisfied. I had no problems until then, but I'm sure there are better ones. Just too lazy to search xD That's why I'm not that eager to freely advertize for them. It would be different if I were really impressed by the service. I'll see on Rufflechat if there are better shopping services first. Would be super interesting to find out if Aliexpress would be cheaper for the same products !
CistudeSuisse ok. You can look for one and then you let me know. I will do a video for checking on AliExpress if I can find those items too. And maybe I can check a TaoBao reseller too.
At first i was like "WISH lolita?!! oh gurl that´s not possible without end up ita" but it really surprised me! thankyou so much for this review, what a shame that you couldn´t use the dress :´< i didn´t trust that much on wish before, i tend to look on aliexpress more often because you can find to alice, soufflesong, diamond honey, etc more easily, but the fast shipping was an extra point to wish. I´ll try this!! (you´re such a pretty girl, that wig & colours look gorgeous on you)
Thank you so much. Yes, I was surprised too. And yes, usually I go with AliExpress too. But that wig is really awesome, it’s my favorite and it was so cheap!
I can see your arms swelling up which is sad i think the dress looked really cute on you you should allways size up to be safe i also recomend bodyline or Lolitashow instead of wish , wish would be nice for accessories or trying new wigs but overall i think your hair and hair piece looks beautiful ❤
FluffyKawaiiJo I was afraid too and one day I just like I’m going to do it! 😂 and now I cut all my wigs up . Using razor comb is easier less scary then shears!
@@Cyisundead Thank you. It's like everything, you are scared until you try and it see it's not that bad. I have a video planed where I need to take care of my wigs, so I will try cutting them. Thank you for your encouragements!
I have this To Alice print, the JSK. I really like it! Too bad you bought the wrong size because the color looked great on you. Anyways, I think it's totally possible to get a good coord with cheaper stuff, they're not bad at all, just not as good as AP and such, but they're very cute ^^
I saw that this dress is a replica in your comments, but what are your opinions on it? Is it fine if you're just going to wear them or does it severely affect the quality if it's for everyday wear? I also want to know which colour you would recommend out of the three as lavender is hard to coordinate. Do you know any better alternatives on aliexpress? Thanks!
I have never owned a To Alice dress. So I can’t really compare the quality to the one I received. It looks ok for a Chinese brand dress. So I don’t really know. I know that Angelic Pretty replicas are disgusting and so bad quality that you shouldn’t buy them. If you have other sax blue or pink dresses, those might be easier to coordinate and go with your accessories. I am planning to do two other videos. One to try and find the same items on Taobao and AliExpress and compare the price. And another one to do the same kind of challenge but with AliExpress. There are a few shops that have good quality things.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo ooh, that sounds great! I'm looking forward to that video, that sounds like a good idea :) I'm still a beginner lolita so I really am just starting out (hence watching this video) so don't have any colors to really start with, haha. I'll have to probably stick to a colour soon :P
I could recommend going with pink to start if you like that color and are going more toward sweet lolita. Even though I don’t own any mainly pink dress, many of my other sweet dresses have pink in it. And it’s way easier to find pink accessories thank lavender and even harder for sax blue. If you need more personal advice to start in lolita or buy your first items, in my Patron, for $10 a month I can offer you monthly called to talk about your specific needs. www.patreon.com/fluffykawaiijo
Thank you! I've been buying a few classic lolita style items from bodyline to start off with (JSKs and blouses and such) but I've really wanted to try sweet lolita sometime in the future, as you said I think the pink colourway is the most versatile. Thank you ^^
Yes, start with pink and the. See if you another favorite color. Mint found me! And without realizing it, I had a mint wardrobe! Also maroon and navy are nice because you can make them sweet or classic. It’s easier to wear every day too.
Hello ! I'm very surprise. All the accesories are cute ! I specially like the shoes. You can put some newpapers on your shoes for doing the shape. Good video. 😃
It's an easy hack when your shoes are a little bit small. Just put some papers ( like newspaper ) on your shoes and wait some days. After that the shoes are more confortable to wear !
Hi, i've been wearing different styles of kawaii for years but i'm putting together my first full lolita outfits for an upcoming summer photoshoot. What is ita in the context you're using it in? I have an ita bag, but i don't get what you mean by not wanting things to be ita :/
Sorry. I get that question a lot. I should have explained it more. Ita means “painful to watch” in Japanese. Like those ita bags that are so full of stuff that become painful to watch. Ahaha. Anyways, in lolita ita means either a poorly put together coordinate or a newbie lolita how doesn’t really wears lolita well yet. Like not choosing good quality dresses, not matching colors or respecting the codes. I hope this helps. If you need specific help to put together your lolita coordinate, I have a tier in my Patreon where I offer personalized help. Feel free to check it out.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo Oh! Oh jeez :S People really call eachother that? The Lolita community kinda scares me a little eek! For the record I think everything looked pretty on you and defo not "ita" lol
It’s really not a nice term. But in my opinion it’s more like I did, hoping that things don’t look ita. I personally don’t know people who called someone else ita. Honestly, almost everyone that I know in lolita all around the world are the sweetest people. But it’s like any kind of community. You always have super nice people and a few not nice people. It’s a complicated fashion and new comers will definitely make mistakes at first. We need to help them grow and encourage them rather than calling them names and making them afraid of the fashion or the community.
You know, the Angelic Pretty dresses are usually worth the price. But if you want to sell it you can always try LaceMarket or Facebook groups. But I don’t think that you can really buy good lolita dresses on Wish. Accessories are fine but be careful of the dresses, especially if you are new to the fashion.
xD I used to complain about AP's and other Japanese brands' prices being so high. The main price breakdown: Japanese designers, shipment to Japan and value creation. There are more, but I feel that these 3 points are what made AP and other big brands so costly. In fact, their actual value is on par with some famous Lolita Taobao brands, it's just that they set a high value to make their profit margin VERY high. That's also why they can open so many shops in Japan as well as in China, Europe and USA. If AP is based on China, the price will definitely be way lower while maintaining the same quality. Because honestly speaking, most materials, as well as workmanship, comes from China
Yes I agree with some of it. But you can definitely see some difference in Angelic Pretty dresses that you usually don’t find in TaoBao dresses. Small details that in themselves don’t cost a lot more to make but justifies the added cost. Like a hook at the top of zip, pockets, détachable wait ties,... like you said it’s also marketed as a luxury brand so it allows to juste the price. All the worldwide shops, events, gifts... that also adds to the costs.
It too me A LOT of time to look 😅. I have this other video with the ordering process. Buying Lolita on Wish Challenge [Part 1] ruclips.net/video/dCHHBn6Kk8k/видео.html
I dont think you were stupid, hun; I'm not a seamstress, but I draw and my mum made dresses - this one seems to have wrong proportions; it looked ok on you (thanks to you), but mannequin shows is downfalls perfectly I bought dresses from wish: they always badly sown Im really surprised this company is still around
The dress is fine it's just that sizes from China are a lot smaller than they are typically every time you buy something from wish if it's clothing you have to always get it at least one or two sizes bigger than your normal size and it's guaranteed to fit if it doesn't then you get an extra size above that one then it will
When I buy my cosplays I typically get them two sizes larger and they always sit perfectly fine for the shoes it is the same if you were to buy the dress again I'd say Get it two sizes bigger
@@FluffyKawaiiJo yes I guess so sometimes wish can be weird.a cosplay I bought once was a large, but it enderd up being a M wish is strange but At the same time it can still be a great place to get find Lolita gear. And pretty exceptional cosplay though sometimes granted they aren't the best quality. ,
I would say it depends on what you mean by cheap. On Bodyline you can get dresses for $25-50. And shoes also very cheap. But some styles look not super nice. On LaceMarket you will find all the big brands second hand but I don’t feel it’s necessary cheap. Some are even more expensive if it’s a dress that was popular. The cheapest are dresses from Chinese brands on TaoBao. You can get a shopping service to buy there or use a TaoBao resellers that will list all the dresses on their website and in English and ship worldwide.
TaoBao is not a brand. It’s a Chinese market place where all the Chinese indie brand have their shop. It’s like if all the western indie brands had their shop on eBay or Amazon and we could call them eBay brands. With my own brand, I personally tried 7 different factories, even in Asia, and very few of them were actually able to make good lolita clothes. There are a lot of indie European brands but a lot of them have their own workshops because it’s hard to find place that have the knowledge to make these kind of clothes.
+Mister Wasgehtsiedasan oh no! I have worn it a lot and it didn’t break at all. But the velvet got a little bit discolored and is now really light pink, almost like my skin so it’s not very contrasting on the neck.
I usually only have nice compliments. You should try and see what happens yourself. Try wearing it with other people first. That will be easier at a meet than alone in your neighborhood.

Ita mean “painful to watch” in Japanese. So it’s a term used for very badly coordinated lolita outfits or as a person for an inexperienced lolita that doesn’t know yet how to put together a lolita outfit properly. I hope this helps.
Basically try to have only 2-3 colors in soir whole outfit. And try to have some of all the colors spread out on the whole outfit. You need reminders on the color of the dress on your head, shoes,...
@@wrenwheeler2460 Either you pick an extra color and you make sure you have some on your head, ad accessories (necklace, wristcuffs,...) and on your legs or shoes. But that might be quite advance. I would actually get accessories in white or grey and make the whole coordinate with these two colors. And be sure to balance the colors throughout the coordinate. Like both colors in the hair. It could be as small as a small bow or flower of one color if the main head dress is the other color. And have the shoes in one color and the tights in the other color.

In Japanese ita means “ouch” or “painful to see”. So basically it’s an inexperienced lolita or wearing an outfit that doesn’t respect the lolita rules and looks bad.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo Ah, i see. I'm new to all this, and judging from what you said in the video i can't even tell the difference between something that is lolita and something that's not. How can you tell? are the rules written anywhere? i'm sorry if these are too many questions.

Dress and all its pretty cute but dear M size I think its a bit small on you and you have too big chest on this dress. I always choose L or XL because I also no small on chest and I in smaller sizes I can't breatching. I buy lolita dress and accesories from alieexpress so I ita? hahaha I just start be lolita from 2 months haha
I took the biggest size available. But yeah usually I wear XL at the minimum. But sizes really vary from one brand to the other. The important is the measurements. You are not necessarily ita if you buy on AliExpress. But some dresses there are not lolita and some are good ones.
Excuse me?!?! First please don’t call me “girl”. My dress was too small. That’s all. If I were wearing a bathing suit, there would have been a lot more to see. If what you see isn’t to your liking, skip the video and go watch another one. Thank you.

What do you mean Sofia?
Finally, the video is online!
I'm sorry, that the dress did not fit. But anyway it was a very interesting project and all in all I think it was a success :)
Yes I think it was a success. But other than accessories I don’t think I would order more from there. Definitely not a dress.
I love this experiment! I definitely want to indulge into the wish world but I'm still a little scared about it but this was so much fun to watch 💖💖💖
I would say for accessories, go for it! Dresses, I don’t know. It took me so long to find some real Lolita dress and not a replica. I wouldn’t even want to try and find a dress in there again myself.
omg this is where your lavender wig came from! LOL thats so unexpected, its one of my fav wigs from you!
I barely wear it anymore. I don’t wear lavender these days, and it’s a long wig and I tend to prefer shorts cuts now.
I’m always so happy each time you get more subscribers. can’t wait for 1000😀 278 left!
Thank you. It’s going fast now. I hope it keeps this pace. I should pass 1000 before the end of the year.
Aw that's so generous of you!
I thought it would be a nice giveaway for me viewers to thank them for their support.
Very cool thanks for sharing!! Ps that wig color really flatters you.
Thank you! I had no idea before. But now that is one of my favorite wig now!
Omg, sorry I’m new here, but I LOVE your voice and accent
Oh thank you! That’s so nice! 😘
The choker is a replica from Hottopic. I've seen it in the stores and online for a few years now.
Thank you for letting me know.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo No problem. They have matching earrings now too. You can go to the site and type in: Cherry Blossom and all of it will show up.
Since it’s only clothes, you can definitely make a coord with any kind of cut. I would love to know what you ended up doing too.
I like lavender too but all my lavender don’t match so it’s a nightmare to coordinate :(
There Is a ita in lolita,Everybody makes mistakes and should Not be called “ita” i hate that word
Omg I love your video how did I not find this channel before
Sorry I only answer now. This comment was marked as spam. I don’t know why.
I am happy you found and like my channel. Thank you very much!
I really enjoyed this and the other video. It was an interesting topic!
Thank you. Ian happy this helped. What was your favorite item?
The wig is really pretty!
Yes it is! It is one of my favorite wig now!
Yes. It’s a very cute bag. I can’t wait to use it!
I'm worried that beginners would use Wish since your selection are alright xD
If you do a tutorial about how to order on Taobao or Lacemarket, I would gladly help you to add French's subtitles.
But I need more light but I don’t have the space to put them :(
Also no, the Dentelle giveaway is not over. I didn’t had the time to select a winner before I left on my vacation. So if you didn’t participate yet, you can still do it’
Yeah I know you repeated several times to not buy on Wish if one's a beginner. Still, it was amusing to see that your haul was successful. You know, like if someone was driving a super stylish car and tell the beginner "Nah, it's not for you" 😜 don't worry, it wasn't a criticism, just found the gap between what you got and what to do funny ^^
I think the light looks ok. At least, it is 10x better than before ^^
For Taobao, I could, but it would be a little bit like an advertisment for the shopping service I'm using and I'm not sure to be at ease with that, since there are tons of different shopping service out there (and maybe better ones).
Yes, like you said, I would not recommend buying dresses on Wish. But for accessories it’s really worth it. I found really nice things there
Bangs on most wigs come longer because everyone’s face is different lengths so you can cut it to fit your forehead
I know but I am always afraid to cut it well myself 😢
Yes that’s true. I have a SouffleSong JSK that I bought new for $50 and it’s one of my favorite dress.

Good video. 😃
I have never tried the newspaper. How do you do it?
It's an easy hack when your shoes are a little bit small.
Just put some papers ( like newspaper ) on your shoes and wait some days. After that the shoes are more confortable to wear !
But even if it’s the shape that is a little too thin? I will try it anyways. Thank you.

I stan to alice
What do you mean?
@@FluffyKawaiiJo its slang. I'm just saying I love the To Alice brand!
Oh sorry. I didn’t that one. Thank you.
I have a Angelic Pretty dress. It was soooo expensive
Why did I buy it...
@@FluffyKawaiiJo I love the idea they have pockets! I always have a habit of putting my train pass in my pockets
I'm still wondering how u found good quality stuff on wish ... 😂😂😂
It too me A LOT of time to look 😅. I have this other video with the ordering process.
Buying Lolita on Wish Challenge [Part 1]
ruclips.net/video/dCHHBn6Kk8k/видео.html
I dont think you were stupid, hun; I'm not a seamstress, but I draw and my mum made dresses - this one seems to have wrong proportions; it looked ok on you (thanks to you), but mannequin shows is downfalls perfectly
I bought dresses from wish: they always badly sown Im really surprised this company is still around
Yes. I took a size bigger for the shoes and it wasn’t enough.
For the dress they had a size chart. Which are usually right. But for some reason I picked a wrong size myself.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo yes I guess so sometimes wish can be weird.a cosplay I bought once was a large, but it enderd up being a M wish is strange but At the same time it can still be a great place to get find Lolita gear. And pretty exceptional cosplay though sometimes granted they aren't the best quality. ,
Oh BTW I really really love your Jsk. It's beautiful 😁
Where can I get cheap lolita items as a beginner?
Try lace market its like the ebay of gothic lolita
I would say it depends on what you mean by cheap. On Bodyline you can get dresses for $25-50. And shoes also very cheap. But some styles look not super nice. On LaceMarket you will find all the big brands second hand but I don’t feel it’s necessary cheap. Some are even more expensive if it’s a dress that was popular. The cheapest are dresses from Chinese brands on TaoBao. You can get a shopping service to buy there or use a TaoBao resellers that will list all the dresses on their website and in English and ship worldwide.
FluffyKawaiiJo thank you for answering so quickly ^.^
You’re welcome. I am so happy I can still answer to everyone!
Why is Taobao such a go to brand? Lolita clothes are clothes can't people in Europe or US make them?
TaoBao is not a brand. It’s a Chinese market place where all the Chinese indie brand have their shop. It’s like if all the western indie brands had their shop on eBay or Amazon and we could call them eBay brands.
With my own brand, I personally tried 7 different factories, even in Asia, and very few of them were actually able to make good lolita clothes. There are a lot of indie European brands but a lot of them have their own workshops because it’s hard to find place that have the knowledge to make these kind of clothes.
J'suis déçue qu'elle t'ailles pas 😭 super sinon continue comme ça 👌😌💖
Merci. Si jamais jeudi je sort une vidéo où je vais un giveaway avec la robe vu qu’elle me va pas.

I bought the same pink choker a few months ago and it fucking ripped everytime i sneezed.. :"))
+Mister Wasgehtsiedasan oh no! I have worn it a lot and it didn’t break at all. But the velvet got a little bit discolored and is now really light pink, almost like my skin so it’s not very contrasting on the neck.
I wish I was a Lolita but idk how the people would react to what Im wearing
I usually only have nice compliments. You should try and see what happens yourself. Try wearing it with other people first. That will be easier at a meet than alone in your neighborhood.

I'm so sorry, I'm just starting Lolita. Can anyone please explain what "ita" is?
Ita mean “painful to watch” in Japanese. So it’s a term used for very badly coordinated lolita outfits or as a person for an inexperienced lolita that doesn’t know yet how to put together a lolita outfit properly. I hope this helps.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo Aah, okay. That makes sense. Thank you so much ,I adore your videos, they really help.
Estelle van Eeden thank you! I am happy it helps you! Let know if you have other questions!
What do I put with a red and white or a blue (dark) and white and blue (dark) and black dresses!
Basically try to have only 2-3 colors in soir whole outfit. And try to have some of all the colors spread out on the whole outfit. You need reminders on the color of the dress on your head, shoes,...
FluffyKawaiiJo it’s a white and gray dress, what do I do then?
@@wrenwheeler2460 Either you pick an extra color and you make sure you have some on your head, ad accessories (necklace, wristcuffs,...) and on your legs or shoes. But that might be quite advance. I would actually get accessories in white or grey and make the whole coordinate with these two colors. And be sure to balance the colors throughout the coordinate. Like both colors in the hair. It could be as small as a small bow or flower of one color if the main head dress is the other color. And have the shoes in one color and the tights in the other color.

Hi! I just added all the links to the description. I thought I had done that before but I didn’t. Thank you for your interest and good luck!
WHAT DOES ITA MEAN
In Japanese ita means “ouch” or “painful to see”. So basically it’s an inexperienced lolita or wearing an outfit that doesn’t respect the lolita rules and looks bad.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo Ah, i see. I'm new to all this, and judging from what you said in the video i can't even tell the difference between something that is lolita and something that's not. How can you tell? are the rules written anywhere? i'm sorry if these are too many questions.
This article talks about the rules and shows you good and bad examples. I hope this helps.
