I've been on quite a few protests in my time and it is true that most are entirely peaceful. Violence and destruction happens but news coverage tends to concentrate on that and often gives a misleading impression. Also, the police and other state actors are not above seeding crowds with agents provocateurs if things are proceeding a little too quietly. I have witnessed this sort of thing on a few occasions.
The lady in Palm 🌴 Beach is a good example of....sometime you just have to go it alone! Bless her ❤

I took the footage from Wenatchee, Washington and I want to thank you for using it in such an inspiring and contextually-accurate way. We have had protests here for the last two weeks and they have been totally peaceful. Nothing has been broken, no looting has occurred and the crowds have only been growing. Last night about 30 armed militia people showed up to try to intimidate the hundreds of protesters. No one took the bait and they were ignored - no one engaged with them from every account I have heard yet some reportedly pointed their guns at people. I have seen cell footage of kids scared and crying because of the men with guns. I am so sad and disappointed to see this happening in my town when the protests have been completely non-violent.

That song keeps playing in my head ever time I watch the evening news these days.

Thanks for not glamorizing violence and focusing on the vast majority of peaceful protests and non-violent crowd control. Since the four indictments the universal rage has largely calmed to social unrest.

We need this..we need to let this negative energy go.. release it and find love. You hear stories of all kinds of wrongs in a protest..yes it's true. But still, we can not let the violent, hurtful people dictate our lives. We have to stand up for what is right...change what is wrong..so we can all be better.. a better nation.. a better world..a better people.. for ourselves, each other, and our future children.

Last week near where I live, a protester tried to burn down a building - he ended up caching himself on fire - it was quite heartwarming to watch.. It showed me that there is still a right and a wrong, and my hope is that all these protesters will get Coronavirus due to not social distancing with other protesters, and live a long life.
Please don't start giving our murders flowers.
