Thank you for covering this. I’m so mad for all women, because now we have very little control over our bodies. A 6 week old clump of cells has more say than we do. I’ve had four miscarriages now I will be questioned if I had an abortion or not if I have another miscarriage. Birth control isn’t a one size fits all solution, especially since a lot of men do not like wearing protection! It’s a war on women now. All these ignorant men in the comments shame on you!!! You have no idea what a mothers struggle is or what it takes to carry a baby for 9 months and give birth.
Very telling you’re more worried about 9 months of being pregnant, something most women including your own mother went through, than the lives of children who will be born into foster homes or shitty situations. Why no one talks about self responsibility? there is contraceptives out there and seriously it is not so easy to get pregnant if you use them.
Once shut down, zoning and accreditation criteria can also be set up by interest groups as further roadblocks to reestablishment of these life SAVING, vital practices. These tactics should be counteracted and prevented.

Excellent video. There are a few ways this country's govt has failed women. For too long we've lived under a govt created by men & run by mostly men who have only ever cared about their own rights, and power. Employing any means necessary to hold onto it and disregarding any human rights women have, and didn't pass laws to elevate women to full citizen status -- now in 2022 still waiting for the completion of the ERA, Roe has been overturned (though that's not what the case was about) and some of the fundamentalists want to pass a national law against abortion. Women we cannot continue to wait for our rights. We must take what's ours. No one's coming to save us.

I support Planned Parenthood monthly ! My mother was an avid volunteer during the 1980’s Planned Parenthood in the Bible belt. Im also angry with Democrats who did not codify Roe in the last 30 years! Allowing for bodily autonomy is the best thing this country can do for citizens! The problem with banning abortion is that desperate women may turn to underground/unregulated 'practitioners'. This will result in many unethical abortions (no regulation on how late is too late), injury and death due to botched procedures.
I agree. They may even be forced to carry it to term and then have to smash the skull of the baby and with a hammer once it’s born. Not pretty, but definitely necessary; probably even more so in the inner cities.

In my country you can get an abortion up to 20 weeks, after that only if there is serious medical complications. Seems pretty fair and reasonable people have time to figure out their own personal circumstances and make their own choices and then after 20 weeks when your actually veering into actual baby territory that option is taken off the table. Seems fair and reasonable right?
Not for people who don't practice safe sex. They know what they're getting into the second they pull their pants down. That child is planned at that point.
For assault and incest, i (personally) do not think those are good reasons to have an abortion, as it is still (again, in my opinion) murder. I'm not knowledgeable enough to speak about medical reasons, sorry.

The child can be thought of as planned since, at that point, there were no measures taken to prevent the concepttion of the child.

@@abceckswhyzee7169 there is no test and no way to make one. Oral contraceptives use hormones naturally found in the body, and condoms don’t have any chemical markers at all. There isn’t even a test to show the difference between a miscarriage and a medical abortion. So if proof is impossible making it a crime would be impossible to prove. Regardless, everyone I know who had to get an abortion practiced safe sex that failed, was assaulted or had an unexpected traumatic change in life circumstances, and it was a truly terrible experience for all of them. Essentially one uses abortion as a first choice. It’s a parachute you pull after every safety measure has failed. And what about IVF? That intentionally creates embryos with no intention of bringing the majority of them to term? Or what about people who put kids up for adoption? Are you really suggesting those should be illegal?
