+zippoiii It would've been cool, but then again Soma is technically Dracula's reincarnation, so we can't really have two characters hogging Dracula's soul at the same time.
continuing: 7. So the servant surpasses the master. Interesting. Also, Douglas Rye does a good job as THE Grim Reaper. His moveset is top notch. Also... There should have been a "Skin" of him as Zead from Curse of Darkness. Sorry, couldn't resist. Though how Death managed to get flesh and disguise himself as a monk is probably a mystery best left unsolved. 6. Gideon Emery, you do Trevor so well, and you picked him fresh from the events of Curse of Darkness. Man, a shame the other Belmonts couldn't make it. It would be the biggest family reunion in history, from Leon to Julius. Of course each would have a unique playstyle to them. 5. This is a Keith Silverstein characher I can get behind. Again, interesting Belmont family reunion. It would be neat to have Leon go up against Julius. Leon: "That whip..." Julius: "Still works, even after nearly 1,000 years." It would be interesting to have a matchup between Simon and Reinhart. Too bad Keith won't reprise the role for Smash Ultimate. 4. Marth, Luke, Yosuke, Meet your predecessor. As in Yuri Lowenthal does a great job reprising Alucard. There are subtle differences between him and his dad. Wouldn't it be weird if there were a matchup between him and Soma, you know, meet Alucard before he became Arikado? 3. In a battle between Cornell and Xemnas who would win? Seriously, Paul St. Peter does a great job portraying the character. And it would be more fitting that Cornell fight in his beast man form rather than his human form. Plus bonus points for the armor. 2. Kirk Thornton you've done it again. Grant Dynasty was awesome. Honestly I don't have anything more to say on that. Time for that old-fashioned recap: #14: You can do better. #13: The animated series improved your personality. #12: GO TO YOUR ROOM! #11: Camilla before Camilla was Camilla. Camilla-ception. #10: A giant with a heart of gold. #9: Really? #8: Galamoth's nemesis. #7: Billy and Mandy's Servant. #6: Leon's descendant. #5: Christopher's Great-Grandson. #4: Genya Arikado. #3: Manwolf Xemnas and #2: Axel with Saix's voice and Demyx's wise cracking personality. 1. No surprise Aeon would be #1. Mr. Ezra Weisz, you glorious dastard. Who wouldn't love this guy? Interesting if there were a conversation between him and St. Germain from Curse of Darkness. One more list to go.
Allow me to quote one of Dracula's best lines that goes well with this game. *clears throat*"WHERE ARE YOU LOOKING?WHERE ARE YOU LOOKING?YOUR TRICKS AR-YOUR TRICKS AR-YOUR TRICKS ARE USELESS! WHERE ARE YOU LOOK-WHERE ARE YOU LOOKING? YOUR TRICKS ARE-YOUR TRICKS ARE USELESS!"
7. They sure do. XD 6. Trevor is looking good with that Eye-patch. XD 5. Am I the only one that Simon looks like Light Yagami from death note? :P 4. Yay it's Alucard. :D 3. Dam WereHog Sonic ain't got shit on Cornell. O_O 2. his probably the deadpool of the CastleVania franchise by now. XD 1. Fucking called it. XD
7. Death is...Death. What's not to expect? 6. Great ally for Goku :D 5. How does he not accidentally whip himself while attacking? Must've been using the Killer since a toddler (I know the whip is the profound weapon of choice for the Belmonts but still) 4. As expected to be as great as he was in Symphony of the Night 3. Mediocre to badass...great choice Konami 2. Reminds me of a character I liked in the past...can't put my finger on it 1. Time travelers: Always wise, keen to knowledge, sympathetic, and strategic. Need I say more?
Kinda saw Aeon coming, but again not complaining cuz he seems like an interesting character :) And not gonna lie, but Grant in this game kinda reminds me of Axel from Kingdom Hearts. Definitely one of the most entertaining characters in the game! :D Again, I'm glad that you and Adam were able to collaborate again, Oscar; you two work so well together! Hope you guys do it again sometime! ^^
Elise Arainai I was actually pretty surprised at finding that out myself. XD it's pretty funny since what I've seen, Grant's compared to Axel quite a lot (with the chakrams, witty remarks and relaxed demeanour), but he has the voice of Saix who's one of the most serious characters in the KH series. And since KH BBS and DDD, it makes things even more interesting, yet sad in a way.
Now that I think about it, we can still connect these three characters in that none of them truly got what they wished for; Grant was never able to win Sypha's heart, Axel never got to see Roxas again before he faded away, and in KH2 Saix faded away believing that he never got the heart he so desired. (Of course with the recent revelation that Nobodies actually do have hearts, Xehanort's manipulation of Saix in DDD just makes me hate him even more! I can only hope that Sora can save Saix, one way or another, in KH3) From what I've seen, great voice actors can play an incredible range of roles. For example, Mako (God rest his soul) played Master Splinter in a TMNT movie as well as Uncle Iroh in Avatar, with both characters being father figures and teachers. On the other hand, he also voiced one of the greatest evils I've ever seen in a cartoon, Aku from Samurai Jack! If I wasn't paying attention to his voice, I probably never would've guessed it was the same person!
Elise Arainai It's also interesting to note that by the time you beat Trevor as Grant in his story, Grant finally meant it when he said he wished for Trevor to make Sypha happy. Likewise, Axel was able to find some peace aiding Sora in Betwixt and Between as Roxas is Sora's Nobody. Also, in DDD, as Lea comes back, since when a person's Nobody and Heartless are beaten they're back to normal, he meets Sora again is part of the crew now (even seen with a keyblade at the end). So I guess in a way "Roxas" and "Axel" did meet up in the end. You just need Saix/Isa now. QuQ it'll be interesting to see what happens in KH3. Indeed. A VA with incredible range is something that I really appreciate. Another is when a VA nails a character's personality. If a VA can do both, it truly makes a character come alive, and shows how much skill and prowess they have. Admittedly with Mako (God bless his soul), he has one range (being older characters), however he absolutely nails a character's personality from the jovial yet wise and powerful Iroh, to the more sinister and scheming Aku. Likewise, it's quite interesting seeing Thornton change from a stoic and serious deep-voiced berserker like Saix, to a relaxed and wise-cracking swashbuckler like Grant. owo of course Thornton does have misses at times - personally, I don't like his voice for Shadow the Hedgehog. ^^;
7. He is the grim reaper 6. I personally don't enjoy Ryu that much.... 5. .....but Ken is much better. 4. Go Luke, I mean Galleth, I mean Sasuke, I mean Yosuke, I mean Alucard 3. Eat it Jacob 2. Certified...Badass 1. Akemi Homura would approve
Simon=Of course Trevor=Also obvious Alucard=Seemed like a 50-50 situation Grant and Sypha=Kinda odd, but Grant's voice is sexy Dracula=What tipped you off Eric Lecarde=Also odd Maria Renard=I wanted Richter Carmilla=I miss the giant head Death=A noob could figure it out Cornell=1st of all, WTF? 2nd of all, how the hell? Finally, HOLY SH**
Wish there was a sequel to this game. A GOOD sequel. Top characters I want in the game (in no particular order) 14: Julius Belmont 13: Richter Belmont 12: Yoko Belnades 11: Albus 10: Carrie Fernandes 9: Nathan Graves 8: Roland de Ronceval (Of Lords of Shadow canon) 7: Alucard 6: Soma Cruz 5: Hector 4: Joachim Armster 3: Death 2: Dracula 1: Aeon
Decided to come back to this video and looking at Simon's hyper attack.... Imagine that hyper attack alongside the Morning star whip Netflix Trevor has....... to a human, it's like being whipped by metal 99 times. But to an unholy demon or monster, imagine powerful holy explosions each and every whip attack simon would perform. You think that'd be overkill?
7: Seriously though, why does Death look like that? I theorize that it's just him possessing a robotic doll or something. Not sure why he would need to do that. 6: In terms of gameplay, he is my main. I play Castlevania to rock that Vampire Killer and his aggressive combat style kinda suits me. I also actually like his hyper since it does about as much damage in one hit as Golem's laser. That's kinda badass. As for how he compares to the cartoon version? I dunno, I admittedly like both of them. Though I definitely prefer the cartoon version's appearance. 5: Like I said, the Vampire Killer is my jam, and I am not just talking about the song. So he's my second main. 4: Probably the most faithful to the original counterparts and one of my favorite redesigns in the game. 3: Ah, I knew this guy would be towards the top. Quite different in terms of appearance, but Konami did need to add some variety I suppose. That's not a bad thing. 2: Hm. I did not expect this guy to be this high up. I kinda miss this guy; he doesn't even get mentioned in the cartoon, but I hope he does appear in season 3 with a personality at least similar to this. Also, did you notice his subweapon use takes up less energy? 1: Heh, I knew this guy would be number 1. In a game with redesigns ranging from pretty cool to unrecognizable, the original character is standout for a reason.
Yes Cornell my most favorite character in the entirety of the original Castlevania series I like his play-style, personality, and his storyline mostly how his true ending actually leads into Legacy of Darkness.
QG, Oscar, IF they made a sequel, or a fan made a sequel, which characters would you wanna see and why? what would the story be? would there be any returning characters from Judgement? would they look the same or have a new design?
Damn it... I lost by one x_x Well, in any case, this was a really good video. I also immensely enjoy Castlevania Judgment, despite it's flaws, so I'm happy to find someone else that shares my love for this game.
Just realised that the Time reaper is the same as Death from Curse of darkness. Does this mean that completing story mode as Death means the final fight is technically a mirror match.
*ahem* top ten video game electromancers. it's not out yet, and you do a different countdown even though weapons month IV is NOT OVER YET! JUST DO IT! END THE MONTH OF ELEMENTS!
I really wish we would have a game about Aeon. I have this game and my girlfriend nad I both LOVE AEON! Best charater made from it. Aeon is probaly the best charater from it and should have his own game involving maybe his origins or something?
7. Oh no. Has anyone made a montage of footage of Death set to Megalovania? 6. This is a really interesting comparison. 5. Can we please make Trevor an alternate color for Simon in the next Smash Bros game? 4. No comment. 3. Seriously. He's like a combination of Krueger from Power Rangers SPD (Except he doesn't need no stinkin morpher to fight) and Wolverine. 2. I think he's wearing all those bandages to cover up injuries he got while practicing should he need to fight again. 1. Certainly a good Chronokinetic (Seriously Oscar. I would love to see this be a list. Even if I can't request it due not having the money to support anyone via Patreon)
#7 wow figured he'd be top 3 #6 and he has a eye patch, that's makes him Dunban i mean awesome #5 hey Trevor, you're to slow #4 again i figured he'd be top 3 wow i need to stop calling things #3 he's a member of the companions circle #2 looks kinda like a zombie though #1 i called it! I FUCKIN CALLED IT!
+Jonathan Kimmel see top 10 castlevania characters, he ranked #3 on that list and QG kinda spoiled his favorite character. as the only game he can rank for that list is in this one, and given the fact he's the most fleshed out character in this game, we saw it coming.
+Jonathan Kimmel When it comes to how Grant looks, this is after the battle with Dracula and he's still got wounds even though he's working to help rebuild. So given what time the pulled him from, all the bandages make a lot of sense design wise..the chakram and spikes, eh artist choice.
Please tell me I'm not the only person who thinks that despite how bad the original SotN's dub was Alucard's original VA's voice fit him better than Yuri Lowenthal in this game and the psp port of SotN in the Dracula x chronicles
yeah, a lot of the voice actor deliveries in SotN could have used more direction and work on delivery. Otherwise, yeah I see SotN's alucard's voice as more fitting
7: Death come swiftly, for anyone. Also... YOU GOTTA HAVE MORE COWBELL! 6: Trevor looks pretty badass as well. Though, it's still nothing compared to Julius. And now, I wish Konami was still smart like back in the day... Fuck Konami. 5: The first Belmont we got to play as! You gotta love hearing Vampire Killer. 4: A nice spot for Genya Arikado-err, I mean, Alucard! 3: Hey, look! It's Warwick, except not! But seriously, Cornell looks really awesome, for a REAL werewolf! Twilight, get out before I call in... THE GOON. 2: Okay, Sorta-mummy dude is awesome! 1: The Time Lord arrives... right on time.
+ProfessorMagus That would be interesting to see considering a lot of people compare him to Axel. Funny enough, Grant's VA was Kirk Thornton who voiced Saix.
That ending makes me sad as their is so much Konami if under better mangememt could do with Castlevania, like the battle of 1999, how the Moris clan got the wip in the first place, the fact that the series creator stated that like zelda their is a timeline split based around Order of Ecclesia based around that village full of Belmonts, if she saved all of them the Belmonts live on and the events that lead to aria of sorrow occur but if she didn't then the Belmonts die out and the 2 games on the n64 occur if it weren't for LoS (I did like the first one) we may have seen where that idea would go but as usual Konami's leaders are a bunch of Corpret idiots who have no idea what people want or how game design works.
Well it's revealed in Portrait of Ruin that the Morris family is actually descended from the Belmont family due to the fact John Morris the main protagonist of Castlevania: Bloodlines, and grandfather to Jonathan Morris the main protagonist of Portrait of Ruin is Richter's grandson. Because it's revealed after the events of ROB Richter married Maria's older sister and they had a daughter who would've eventually married a man named Quincy Morris. However since it was apparent that John and future members of the Morris family wouldn't have inherited the Warlord Chromosome which means any member of the Morris family born before and after WW1 could wield the whip since they technically are descendants of the Belmont family however they would eventually die due to not possessing the Warlord Chromosome however there was a way to avoid dying and be able to access the whip's true power and that was through defeating the ghost of a Belmont who previously wielded the Vampire Killer and according to the canon only two members of the Morris family have been able to complete this requirement and unlock the right to use the Vampire Killer at it's full strength without fear of dying John who apparently defeated Simon's ghost prior to the events of Bloodlines, and of course his grandson Jonathan who defeated the ghost of his great-grandfather Richter during the events of Portrait of Ruin.
ok. I'm starting to get confused. Alucard and Trevor are in the same game and in Lords of Shadow Alucard IS Trevor as a vampire. Is Lords of Shadow canon to the series or what? I'm getting confused
+Blackwing97 Lords of Shadow is it´s own canon, It has no relation with the rest of the franchise, is some sort of alternate universe with it´s own interpretation to the characters in the franchise, similar to DMC to the other games in the Devil May Cry series, or Paper Mario to the Mario franchise in general.
0.0 cornel voice his story need a remake with good game play because who doesn't want to play a good castlevania game staring a werewolf voiced by Xemnas
+Demi-Fiend of Time It's a pretty strange design choice on part of the artist (who was actually the artist for Death Note), but the Grant in Judgement was apparently taken from a time after the events in Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, along with Trevor. Trevor's eye got wounded by Dracula (hence the eye patch), while Grant got wounded, period - hence why he's covered in bandages despite helping to rebuild the place. As for all the spikes and having a chakram, though, I'm unsure where that came from - I guess artist's aesthetic choice? At least they got his personality to seem more like a relaxed swashbuckler than a goth.
Demi-Fiend of Time It really is pretty strange (despite the fact I don't mind it at all), because even if you give justification to Grant having bandages from him being wounded - getting bandaged from head to toe where you only see his eyes, nose, mouth and fingers? Makes you wonder what the hell happened to him during that fight with Dracula. The artist could've gotten carried away with the bandage motif.
Grant? Best design? Dudes... he's a pirate... that got turned into a mummified ninja... There's "lost in translation"... and then there's this change...
ogre589 That Grant is a wisecracker, this I can accept (not complaining about it either), but good grief, his design, like all other characters, just look wrong...
Depend on what style, Metroidvania(or IGAvania) or the classic. For Metroidvania I recommend Symphony of the Night or Aria of Sorrow, great and not too hard for starters. I first get in the series with SotN. For classic I think Super Castlevania IV, I must warned you first that the classic style games are pretty hard. Or maybe Castlevania the Adventure Rebirth is a good choice to begin too, I heard it's easier. (I didn't play it yet so I can't actually tell) Rondo of Blood also nice.
+fredbear “'freddy'” fazbear Actually, at the time it was released, Order Of Ecclesia (The game Shanoa is in) came out. You an connect the ds to the wii to get things, so of course they would promote Shanoa.
+fredbear “'freddy'” fazbear Soma was initially considered for the roster, but they didn't add him in because he's the reincarnation of Dracula, and Dracula already appeared in the game. Aeon had mentioned that to have two of the same being in the same place was not allowed (would probably cause some huge screw-up to the time rift).
Vincent Sissom Oh, don't be. It was more of a lighthearted jab or anything. If anything, we should just laugh together. Are you that Audrak from Chaos Theatre, btw?
Vincent Sissom I read, but then, I'm not really that big into TF2, majorly because I have lag issues if I play internationally (it's not that known in my region), and it will hamper my performance severely for FPS games, moreso than MOBA games. I may try to get to that one day, if I've gotten better in playing with lags. Still, that's a nice try. I won't say that text countdowns are bad though (because believe me, I've been THERE.), so overall, points for trying!
I wish they had Soma in the game, he's one of my favorite characters
+zippoiii Soma is Dracula... then again... Time rift.
+zippoiii It would've been cool, but then again Soma is technically Dracula's reincarnation, so we can't really have two characters hogging Dracula's soul at the same time.
Actually Julius Belmont should be in there as the OP character.
Metal Sonic Well, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is offline as of late so that's impossible.
+Crimson Flame op means overpowered
That Trevor makes all us Trevors proud. Plus, he looks like a Medieval version of Big Boss in this game.
if there is ever a good metroidvania castlevania in the future, i would love to see Aeon as the lead
continuing:

2. The name's Grant. Got it memorized?
I know that for a fact so don't worry. Wait, I know who: Voldo from Soul Calibur II. That's what Grant reminds me of.
xXTheHeroicGamerXx
I was going for Axel from Kingdom Hearts with the chakrams and voice.
*looks up Axel* Aaah, I see the resemblance
For 2 I think you were reminded of voldo from soulcalibur but with a personality
Holy water? You need a new save file to heal that sickest burn!
Minrod Vils therapy is better
Kinda saw Aeon coming, but again not complaining cuz he seems like an interesting character :)

+Elise Arainai Fun Fact: Grant was voiced by Kirk Thornton who voiced Saix.
Kazechi Yumigami You're kidding! That's actually pretty cool, and somewhat ironic :)

anyone else say 'because Konami' in unison with the quarter guy?
+Theodore Monin Me
+Theodore Monin Me.
+Theodore Monin same
+Theodore Monin Who hasn't? -_-
+Theodore Monin they cant be all that bad right? oh...wait, never mind.

4. Go Luke, I mean Galleth, I mean Sasuke, I mean Yosuke, I mean Alucard
3. Eat it Jacob
2. Certified...Badass
1. Akemi Homura would approve
Actually DIO approved
I actually haven't watched Jojo's Bizzare Adventures.
Simon=Of course
Trevor=Also obvious
Alucard=Seemed like a 50-50 situation
Grant and Sypha=Kinda odd, but Grant's voice is sexy
Dracula=What tipped you off
Eric Lecarde=Also odd
Maria Renard=I wanted Richter
Carmilla=I miss the giant head
Death=A noob could figure it out
Cornell=1st of all, WTF? 2nd of all, how the hell? Finally, HOLY SH**
Death is definitely my favorite of the judgement cast,. Best design, fighting style, and hyper attack(tied with Simon's of course).
oh, yeah. Grant's weapon looks like Axel's chakram from Kingdom Hearts
It's great to see this game finally get some love. :)
My fave character to play as in this game is Cornell.
Wow Maple Samurai I have the EXACT same thoughts as you!
I bet the fanbase hates it 'cause "It's not a standard Castlevania game" Because different = horrible Ugh Fanboys.... So annoying
Id say "Because Konami" is a pretty good reason to not expect anything good in the forseeable future.
I liked this game too. It's actually the only Castlevania game I've played. Aeon was a really cool character.
Great list, and great colab. But..... is the top 10 Video Game Electromancers coming anytime soon?
+Omnicidal Clown I totally agree
Again. Great countdown. I hope Elecmancers is coming soon. Can't wait for that.
Wish there was a sequel to this game. A GOOD sequel. Top characters I want in the game (in no particular order)
14: Julius Belmont
13: Richter Belmont
12: Yoko Belnades
11: Albus
10: Carrie Fernandes
9: Nathan Graves
8: Roland de Ronceval (Of Lords of Shadow canon)
7: Alucard
6: Soma Cruz
5: Hector
4: Joachim Armster
3: Death
2: Dracula
1: Aeon
I freaking love Grant *_* even the clockwork theme is fucking epic
Awesome countdown! And then, the castlevania's month is over. Thanks for your work, QG. You're amazing. Now, relax.
+MegaNinten 007 Oh! And thanks you too, Green Scorpion!
Personally, Death is my favorite character in the game, but Aeon is an EXTREMELY close second. :)
I love Aeon, I want to see him make an appearance in another Castlevania game
Decided to come back to this video and looking at Simon's hyper attack....

In a game with redesigns ranging from pretty cool to unrecognizable, the original character is standout for a reason.
wait wait wait ALUCARD VOICE IS SASUKE ENGLISH DUB
really do like this pretty good for a fighter
I didn't even need to watch this entire list to know that you put Aeon on Number One.
It's Aeon. It's Aeon. It's Aeon. Says Number 1, OH MAH GISH. It's Aeon.
Yes Cornell my most favorite character in the entirety of the original Castlevania series I like his play-style, personality, and his storyline mostly how his true ending actually leads into Legacy of Darkness.
I'm now interested to know more about this game. I'm into fighting games and I should try it out sometime. :)
***** I can understand that, I'm still going to try it out though. Plus, I need to experience it for myself at some point. XD
QG, Oscar, IF they made a sequel, or a fan made a sequel, which characters would you wanna see and why? what would the story be? would there be any returning characters from Judgement? would they look the same or have a new design?
14:19 That image of Ragna and Scorpion makes wan to see them fight.
Cornell's beast form looks like a mix of Lady Deathstrike and Zen Aku.
Aeon's clock reminds me of Samurai warriors Hanbei's weapon.
after seeing this list i want get this game despite what a lot of people say about this game
#3
Wait a minute: using claws for rushdown combos? You've been exposed, Wonder-White!
Wow Grant in judgement is sorta like Seward in the second Dracula book.
So Aeon is basically Dio.......I'm cool with that.
So who else called #1 the second they saw this list?
If they do make a sequel I'd like to see Juste or Soma join in.
Damn it...
I lost by one x_x
Well, in any case, this was a really good video.
08:33Hi Xemnas.
Drawboy66
Listen to his voice.
Possible death battles:
Sephiroth vs Alucard
Cornel vs J.Talbain
Dracula vs Demitri Maximoff
Death (Castlevania) vs death(soul eater). (Pun intended)
TOP TEN ELECRTOMANCERS OSCAR PLS
*ahem* top ten video game electromancers. it's not out yet, and you do a different countdown even though weapons month IV is NOT OVER YET! JUST DO IT! END THE MONTH OF ELEMENTS!
I still saw Maria was a great fighter and she easy to use
Is anyone else wanting Soma from Dwan/Aria of sorrow to be dlc if this game gets a remake?
I see I am not the only one who thinks that Alucard looks like Sephiroth here....
Oh well, at least it is much more better than Trevor Beltmont.
I really wish we would have a game about Aeon.
I have this game and my girlfriend nad I both LOVE AEON! Best charater made from it.
Aeon is probaly the best charater from it and should have his own game involving maybe his origins or something?
ok my first time seeing death's judgment design and am I the only one who thinks that it kinda of looks like his second form in rondo of blood
Frickin Knew it.
#7 wow figured he'd be top 3
#6 and he has a eye patch, that's makes him Dunban i mean awesome
#5 hey Trevor, you're to slow
#4 again i figured he'd be top 3 wow i need to stop calling things
#3 he's a member of the companions circle
#2 looks kinda like a zombie though
#1 i called it! I FUCKIN CALLED IT!
+Jonathan Kimmel dude you and everyone else. we all knew he would be number 1 cause QG said he was one of his favorite characters
ogre589
so?
+Jonathan Kimmel see top 10 castlevania characters, he ranked #3 on that list and QG kinda spoiled his favorite character. as the only game he can rank for that list is in this one, and given the fact he's the most fleshed out character in this game, we saw it coming.
Exactly
+Jonathan Kimmel When it comes to how Grant looks, this is after the battle with Dracula and he's still got wounds even though he's working to help rebuild. So given what time the pulled him from, all the bandages make a lot of sense design wise..the chakram and spikes, eh artist choice.
Is it just me, or does Trevor look like Dunban?
Please tell me I'm not the only person who thinks that despite how bad the original SotN's dub was Alucard's original VA's voice fit him better than Yuri Lowenthal in this game and the psp port of SotN in the Dracula x chronicles
yeah, a lot of the voice actor deliveries in SotN could have used more direction and work on delivery. Otherwise, yeah I see SotN's alucard's voice as more fitting
5:18 I have a much better question. Why does Alucard sound like Suzaku?
Maybe Alucard looks like Sephiroth cause they're both badass :D
But one's more interesting than the other
7: Death come swiftly, for anyone.
I think for no. 4, you meant Luke, or Yosuke, or even Mercury.
And Genya Arikado from Aria of Sorrow! Arikado IS Alucard, after all.
I know. But he's also voiced by Yuri Lowenthall in this game,
Oh. Haven't noticed that detail. But hey, bonus!
This video made me want to get the game
13:29 Does that burn really work if the opponent is frozen in time, though?
i wish that joachim was in this game.....
Aww, QG should've said "No, because football."
+Dynakirby63 That would make no sense whatsoever.
www.vg247.com/2015/09/18/konami-stops-all-aaa-console-production-except-for-pes-report/
+Dynakirby63 you have no idea how much it draws me crazy that.
+TheGhostgodzilla how about i take that pen and give you some car keys.
guess what? metal gear survive :D
OH GOD NO... WHY DIDN'T THEY STICK TO ONLY FOOTBALL
So Trevor plays like Wolf as Simon plays like Fox?
Trevor Belmont, hope you realize your hair is Dunban's.
#1
yup.
I can actually think that (I know it will never happen) Quinton Flynn could voice Grant
+ProfessorMagus That would be interesting to see considering a lot of people compare him to Axel. Funny enough, Grant's VA was Kirk Thornton who voiced Saix.
Hey Green Scorpion!! Top 10 Grapplers!!!
This is great and all, but......... When the hell is Top Ten Electromancers?!
+Demi-Fiend of Time When did they say there was a timeline split?
Also see the rest of this countdown and knowing QG I knew who number 1 was as soon as Grant wad at number 2
So why does Simon look like Light was into BDSM.
Same artist who did the designs for Death Note.
4:03 Why couldn't this be his Final Smash?
Oh, well. Grand Cross is still flashy. Even though item crashes are Richter's thing.
So Simon is to Trevor as Reyn is to Dunban?
ok. I'm starting to get confused. Alucard and Trevor are in the same game and in Lords of Shadow Alucard IS Trevor as a vampire. Is Lords of Shadow canon to the series or what? I'm getting confused
The Lords of Shadows series is a reboot of sorts. It's also really, really dumb.
+Carlos Perez ok, got it. Thanks
+Blackwing97 Lords of Shadow is a completely different timeline to the "canon" Castlevania timeline. Meaning that it doesn't count with Judgement.
0.0 cornel voice his story need a remake with good game play because who doesn't want to play a good castlevania game staring a werewolf voiced by Xemnas
Oh come on QG, no Za Warudo/Dio jokes?:P
I was thinking the exact same thing XD
REMITAL1 Yeah, maybe it was to cliched at this point.XD
+SmashBros2009 Oh don't worry, Dio's back! He showed up to flatten Handsome Jack in QG's "Top 10 Worst Video Games to Live In".
Elise Arainai Haha true.XD
Why does Grant look like a goth mummy, I thought he was a pirate
+Kazechi Yumigami I know who the artist was it just looks weird and wonder what exactly went through his head for that design.
I love Aeon!!!
Well this didn't take that long at all!
alucards design reminds me more of edgeworth than sephiroth
+CyberDragoon656 Edgeworth grew out his hair and became a vampire - would that mean Manfred Von Karma is now Dracula?
but at the same time they made dawn of sorrow on the ds
HOLY SHIT! ALUCARD ISN'T NUMBER 1?! Damn...
Grant? Best design? Dudes... he's a pirate... that got turned into a mummified ninja...
There's "lost in translation"... and then there's this change...
+MrJechgo i think hes going off of the fact that he actually has a personality and a damn good one too. Always been a fan of the comedy character.
ogre589 That Grant is a wisecracker, this I can accept (not complaining about it either), but good grief, his design, like all other characters, just look wrong...
they look different cause the guy who did the artwork was the guy who did the artwork for death note. just take a look at the similarities.
ogre589 Alucard and Trevor look like their original designs, even if it's by Death Note's author, but Grant? Nope...
You also have to remember the last time, at least as far as i remember, grant was in a nes game so we didn't have any character or set appearance
0:17 And CUE FACEPALM!
I'm trying to get into the Castlevania series where should I start
Depend on what style, Metroidvania(or IGAvania) or the classic.
For Metroidvania I recommend Symphony of the Night or Aria of Sorrow, great and not too hard for starters. I first get in the series with SotN.
For classic I think Super Castlevania IV, I must warned you first that the classic style games are pretty hard. Or maybe Castlevania the Adventure Rebirth is a good choice to begin too, I heard it's easier. (I didn't play it yet so I can't actually tell) Rondo of Blood also nice.
Psp, dracula x Chronicles has 2 games in one, they are of the 2 different styles. that's a pretty good start
Slowpoke Now you mentioned it, yes that's a good choice to start with.
@@yoster39 three if you count the original version of Rondo of Blood as an unlockable
quarter guy can you go one castlevania list without bashing on Konami
+Cherie Lynn Why? Konami deserves every single last bash they get, especially after the shit revealed this year. #FucKonami.
what did they reveal because I didn't see it
+Cherie Lynn pachinko machines
+Cherie Lynn check jim sterling's this year vids for more detail
+Cherie Lynn That they won't publish games anymore (except for PES).
Because Sephiroth is awesome
My guess: #1 is Aeon.
Called it.
soma cruz should have been in judgement in staid of shanoa
+fredbear “'freddy'” fazbear Actually, at the time it was released, Order Of Ecclesia (The game Shanoa is in) came out. You an connect the ds to the wii to get things, so of course they would promote Shanoa.
but at the same time they released dawn of sorrow staring soma cruz
+fredbear “'freddy'” fazbear Soma was initially considered for the roster, but they didn't add him in because he's the reincarnation of Dracula, and Dracula already appeared in the game. Aeon had mentioned that to have two of the same being in the same place was not allowed (would probably cause some huge screw-up to the time rift).
That game has nothing to do with today's Konami.
Konami is the devil
You know what, you guys? Maybe because the game sucks so much, Konami might make a squeal. I like the game, though.
+Vincent “auradrak” Sissom 'Squeal'? ... err...
ChrisX Sorry, I suck at spelling.
Vincent Sissom
Oh, don't be. It was more of a lighthearted jab or anything. If anything, we should just laugh together.
Are you that Audrak from Chaos Theatre, btw?
ChrisX ... Yes, I am AuraDrak from Chaos Theatre. Have you checked out my loadouts countdown there?
Vincent Sissom
I read, but then, I'm not really that big into TF2, majorly because I have lag issues if I play internationally (it's not that known in my region), and it will hamper my performance severely for FPS games, moreso than MOBA games. I may try to get to that one day, if I've gotten better in playing with lags.
Still, that's a nice try. I won't say that text countdowns are bad though (because believe me, I've been THERE.), so overall, points for trying!
#FucKonami
Huh I'm early...meh screw jokes
First
