I find it funny how much people complain about not able to see the citizens do whatever, as if they were ever interesting look at in the first place.
This is Frostpunk 2 not Frostpunk 1 version 2 the devs made that quite clear.

There's a wasteland overlay where you send scouts, build stuff, which seems interesting. This was just the city build up timelapse. But is a limited beta, with just 300 weeks of time. It's not a bad game, check some gameplays.

honestly it feels like a step back, was playing it yesterday and it does not have the charm of the first game and the hex building system feels out of place outside a 4x game, also since the game goes for weeks instead of days you cant see your citizens so even when they represented them with the light paths it feels like you are building a ghost city. But thats just my opinion.
I dont think it is bad but it definitely feels like a worse version.
Also the ui is trash, like who was the genius that decided to put a white ui in a game full of snow?

​@@alejandrozapataq I did feel like the first one had some more raw charm. Perhaps felt a bit more punishing, in some more raw ways x) the added freedom in 2 to build wherever you want feels a bit casual, streamlined.
Though I'd gladly continue past the 300 week mark. Was having fun I guess. But yes..
