This build, its god awful
you actually edited the comment? :D a staunch supporter of beauty ; ) let's pin it
American layout on a medieval game? BURN IT AT THE STAKE
my biggest issue with the game actually is that there's no road length measurements, and no perfect 90 degrees )
@@GameWatcher545 HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH
Just sick and wrong isn't it...? XD
i am sorry but who would build like this in a medieval game lmao
I build grids in every game by a rule, love em ) do keep in mind I love games like Oxygen Not Included, Factorio, etc. If I don't see grids, blocks and symmetry I delete it ; )
@@GameWatcher545 I don't mean it offensive but are you autistic? Serious question because this is a sign of it!
I enjoyed that, good music selection as well
Glad you did, thank you :)
@@GameWatcher545 hey whats the song name please :) shazam cant find it
@@henrifx287 "Humble Beginnings" Manor Lords OST
@@GameWatcher545 thank you!
the game looks amazing
actually good layout, everything is at range of the villagers, this is a very resource focus village, and can be easily protected too, looks similar to the han dinasty cities
Thanks for defense ; ) I'd really love if we were able to do 90 degrees, and see the length of the roads. Efficiency trumps a beauty project for me every time.
I understand people's critique, but will never abandon efficient grids in these games x)
@@GameWatcher545 the critics are being very ignorant too, there are many medieval layouts that uses the grid, like the Roman model and the Reihendorf, you are being historical too.
@@deathlord250 I'll be using those examples as an excuse in future, thanks ; )
100% effectivity 0% soul
Dude, you need a central road,
How do you do the timelapse? Like how to do you record it in the same angle while playing?
there's a key that will save whichever thing you're looking at. Which I didn't knew for this videfo in partiocular. But mate forgot which it was. Something like shift C, but not sure
Don't mind the haters, nice city 😁
Hehe thanks mate appreciated
how do you activate the static camera?
Everyone : eew, grid! 🤮
Ancient civilizations : it just works 😊
Note : no, really. Ancient Egyptians (Memphis & Alexandria), Han dynasty (West g East) and Mesopotamian (like in Iraq) civs does use grids for their cities.
It would work if it was a ancient civ city builder. Not middle ages.
@@xptaco2298 the roman model (grid city model) was used a lot in many villagers and cities in middle europe and balkans, because it was effective, so yeah, it works in middle ages too. and this can fit into the Row Style (Reihendorf) with the Upper large road working as the Main Road. so even non-roman villages have grid-like villages.
@@deathlord250 grid like. Not completely and as utilitarian as this.
@@xptaco2298 no, being utilitarian was the main focus of this grid-like villages, as they are in most, farm villages and want to be quickly and economic, manure can be quickly moved to the fields and harvests quickly moved to the barn, and this harvests can be quickly traded with merchants.
@@deathlord250 I disagree. You act like every village was planned out when in fact they weren't, they popped up in areas that served economic, spiritual, or it could've even been a fort before its conception of a village or town. Planning wouldn't come until the village was turned into a city.
bro finished Anno right before manor lords early access 😂
haha yes
is this squidward village?
Grid city 🤮
give me symmetry or give me death ; )
Yep
Look how they massacred my comfy game!
Only thing missing is some Starbucks, a highway and some overpasses so the druggies have somewhere to lay down under.
tell me you're american without tell me you're american
This is how I knew only 1 dev worked on the game, no 90 degrees!
the game was literally developed to avoid this stupid grid-like playstyle but you just pissed on the developer's idea lol
Dev makes a game that can actually build medieval villages and you make it into an american city district... Yikes man
Still nice vid and relaxing music
dev needs to give us (me) 90 degrees roads ; )
