This is a very short video showing how to change the Bonnet struts on an Audi A4 and also where to buy from at the best price. It is a two minute job but it helps if you know where the clips are and how to get the old off.

These gas stunts are probably a bonus for the manufacturers, but they are a pretty poor piece of kit for owners. They aren’t very durable. On the plus side, they usually are easy to replace.

Thanks for your comment - I agree. It’s annoying when they wear out but thankfully it’s one of those jobs that anyone can tackle. Mike
