I just ran my second half marathon today and my body told me loud and clear that it doesn't find my lack of post-run stretching or strength training very amusing. Hi Ash. This was my first run in about two months after my plantar fasciitis episode. My physio guy said I've recovered now, but I'm starting slow. Thanks for the cool down!
Thank you for this video :) I used to get a lot of pain in my lower legs and hips when I was running - so I took a break for 2 months. I'm running again now and have made it a habit to follow your stretching videos post-run, and I haven't felt any pain while running since!
Thank you for the video. Normally I'm always finishing a run and then getting straight into the shower and on with my day. Today I took a moment to do a stretch after my run and Thank you! My body is thanking me but also my mind! It's nice to actually stop for a second instead of constantly on the go! ❤

Thank you for this video, Ash! I just went for a run in really lively weather. It rained and was very windy. It looks like autumn has arrived here in Norway. But the run was so great!!! It´s my third run this week, and my fourth week since starting up again, and I finally feel lighter and better in my run! ANd I had forgotten how lovely it can be to run in summer rain! It was beautiful and fun! And this stretch was perfect after this run and quick shower. Have a lovely weekend, Ash!

I keep beating personal bests in both time and distance, and i want quicker recovery times. I especially appreciate the ham string stretches, which seems like a weakness for me. Thank you!

I liked the stretching of the upper body at the start, made for a more holistic post-run stretch. Really short run today coz my energy levels are low this week but consistency is important too so keeping to the routine but scaling it back works.

Did a 30 k hike today with 1 km of vertical gain. Was going to skip the stretch and go straight to the bath, but thought better of it. This was a bit tough since I'm tired, but am glad I did it. Thanks, Ash.

i stopped running because i kept having problems with pain in my ankles and knees, but i decided i wanted to start again. i’ve been doing these stretches after every run and i haven’t had any pain! thank you ash!!!!

The knee pain could likely be down to one of 2 issues, lack of strength in supporting muscles around the knee (the videos below will hep with that) or your running form is influencing the impact going through the knees. I’ve been trying to really push my limits with running.. both pace and distance.. and anything over 3 mi and I have to take a zero, and if I do it on an incline I’m ruined for a double zero. This made me feel great even after 2.8mi! I was sore and worried I overtrained. Did this video and 12 minutes later I felt like with a good night sleep I could get back out there tomorrow!

This is the best post run stretch video I've used! The stretches are simple, easily accommodated, and effective. I like spending time in each stretch instead of moving through them quickly. Will be watching this again after my next run!

These videos are awesome! I used to hate stretching after running, but I’d always get injured. These videos are short enough that I stay motivated to do them and they’re helping me recover faster.

Ash Brother my Knee is hurting even I do stretches of yours can you make some specific vedio for knee pain some stretches related to knee pain it will be helpful to many runners who face this problem 🙏🏾 Hope you will help ❤
Ajay I feel your pain and appreciate your comment ❤ its so frustrating to get injured!! The knee pain could likely be down to one of 2 issues, lack of strength in supporting muscles around the knee (the videos below will hep with that) or your running form is influencing the impact going through the knees. Have you had your running gait analysed?

@@RawVibesAjrunning gait is the way you run. Most phones nowdadays have a ‘slo-mo’ camera. Video yourself on a side angle and see if you are a heavy heel-striker!

I’ve been trying to really push my limits with running.. both pace and distance.. and anything over 3 mi and I have to take a zero, and if I do it on an incline I’m ruined for a double zero.
This made me feel great even after 2.8mi! I was sore and worried I overtrained. Did this video and 12 minutes later I felt like with a good night sleep I could get back out there tomorrow!

This is the best post run stretch video I've used! The stretches are simple, easily accommodated, and effective. I like spending time in each stretch instead of moving through them quickly. Will be watching this again after my next run!
