Holy shit they should've just copied the style of starcraft 1 story telling, would've been so much less embarrassing. LITERALLY random ass animators on youtube doing better than this shit. I can't get over that they did these goofy cutscenes before they animated the unit portraits, or actually showed peoples mouths moving in the briefing screens.
I think this might be the greatest grift since star citizen. A low tier blizz dev was able to convince RTS fans to hand over millions of dollars…. And turns out something that very well could be worse than Warcraft 3 reforged. Pro tip everyone if a game is being pitched as “from the makers of, or the studio who brought you” and the people involved don’t have any credible evidence they worked on that project in a meaningful way DONT PRE ORDER IT.
I suspect that the AI was used in Stormgate already. It's hard for me to point at something particular, but the art design of the game feels strange somehow.
