You do have to feel for Wanda. She has lost her parents, her brother, her lover and her children. Add the guilty from what happens in WandaVision and the influence of the Darkhold and she didn’t have a chance.
She is not the only superhero who lost everything
Shuri lost her father to zemo, her brother to disease, and her mother to namor
Spider man lost his aunt may to Green Goblin and everyone else to magic
Thor lost his whole family, his friends from asgard, his home planet, half of his people, half his avenger friends, Jane Foster all gone.

Wanda shouldn't have to put all that blame on herself. She is not the one who truly killed Vision, Thanos did. And at least humans were grateful enough to bring him back.
Because her fate is to rule the world, but she didn't want that. She is also a nexus being who isn't supposed to exist. I think it's still fair that her fate isn't an issue for everything she did. It's what she did and how she did it.
BTW, the mustard guy is the legendary Bruce Campbell aka Ashe from the Evil Dead movies, which the movies (at least the original 2) were also directed by Sam Raimi

As other commenters said, the woman at the end is Clea. (Played by Charlize Theron. Can't wait to see more of her!) In the comics, she is another love interest of Strange. So he tells Christine he loves her but it doesn't work because he "gets scared" and that is the end. When she shows up she asks him if he is scared and he says, "Not in the least." He's ready to open up again thanks to this journey to learn to trust America and not insist on doing everything himself. Character growth!

I think it is cool that the thing Christine used on the spirits is the same thing Strange grabbed in the first movie when first fighting against Kaecilius, and Kaecilius asked him, "You don't know what that does, do you?"

"Never thought I'd see Wanda and Professor X going at it." Despite that she's more of an avengers character in the comics, Wanda started off as an X-Men villan, and a member of magneto's Brotherhood. She was later revealed to be Magneto's daughter, though that's been retconned in recent years. But they still see each other as family, even if they're not blood related.

Making Wanda a villian was one of the best decisions ever made in Marvel. She was terrifying. It helped that half the movie was basically a horror film😂

But he could already travel. In the first Dr. Strange movie, Mordo tells him the sling rings can travel to other dimensions. This movie's writers forgot that or ignored it to use McGuffin Chavez. Weak.

The eyeball monster at the beginning is actually based off Elizabeth Olsen’s eyes.
Seen this movie a few times and have watched several reactors watch it and I still have no idea why people hated this movie so much. It's sooo good. Like I get it if you didn't care for the Illuminati portion because you didn't get some epic showdown and instead it was a power showcase for Wanda, but why people pick one thing to hate and then say the WHOLE thing sucks is beyond me.

I think some people really got angry because they didn't like Wanda's villian turn. I thought this movie did a great job defining the character of the Scarlett Witch like she's known in the comics. Something we hadn't seen yet in the MCU.

I love this movie but it has lots of flaws. Mauler does a good job of breaking it all down if you truly want to know. It doesn't have to change your opinion just gives you an understanding to your question.

I think one of the largest critiques is that it wasn't really Dr. Strange's film...it was Wanda's in a way. But I personally loved the film, found it scary, hilarious, and loved every minute.
Idk if you noticed but the woman who played captain marvel was monica’s mom(the pilot) from Captain Marvel movie and now since you seen Reed Richards you should watch the Fantastic 4 movies except for the 2015 one

In many eastern religions, the third eye is a sign of enlightenment. If you go back a watch the first Dr. Strange, when he is first talking to the Ancient One, at one point she puts her thumb to his forehead and tells him to “open your eye”.

One of the worst. This is a cheap version of my second favourite character in Marvel for more than 40 years.

Raimi ruining things is the same as always, the most irregular director in history. But hey, when he hits, he never hits higher than 6/10.... He's directed almost 20 movies, how many titles can you count? Wasting budget on stupid old B-movies, wasting crappy scares we've seen thousands of times, wasting good new characters shamefully, wasting two of my most beloved characters, wasting time with cheap special FX....
I was shaking from the moment I knew I was going to be the director of Doc Strange 2, here's the reasion. IDK who came up with that "fantastic idea", but man, you just trash the whole thing.
The smartest man on earth enters the scene through a portal and shuts it with a car remote? And after that he reveals to a huge enemy his aces? The film's editing is so.... vulgar! What is America Chavez doing in Karma-Tag's kindergarten... Is she now America Sorcerer Chavez? Are those The Illuminati or a first year group in the Boy Scouts?

Elizabeth does such a good job and other than em backtracking with Wanda’s children story I really loved how they portrayed her I still don’t think she’s hit her peak power level yet though
A friend of mine commented that she disliked how the movie undid Wanda's redemption at the end of WandaVision. I had to remind her that this isn't Wanda, it's more or less the Darkholde puppeteering her. I believe that red flash we see at the end could mean she'll be back later. Maybe she'll get redeemed again in Vision's upcoming series

@@TuxKamen the scene where Professor X enters her mind is a good indication the Darkhold had its claws into Wanda; as it did with various characters in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. tv series.
@@juliocesarg.r.1238 I saw people saying they hope she doesn’t get redeemed after what happened in her show/this movie…but like it initially came from a place of complete heartbreak and then she’s been manipulated by the dark hold. They definitely tried to show that this isn’t the real wanda when X went into her mind trying to save her. Wanda 100% should get her redemption but I feel like she’s going to have some extreme guilt. I just hope they bring her back in some capacity because she’s my favorite MCU character.

I loved your reaction. Strange is a very complex and interesting character. He’s easily my favorite. I love his relationship with Wong and now America. I can’t wait for DS3 and I loved how you called Wanda on her crimes even if she went through a lot ( like many of our heroes) it doesn’t excuse her crimes.

According to Strange, they were "barely" lovers. So doesn't seem they got that far that long. With that, the relationship has been given waaaay too much focus in Strange's films.

Earth 838's Doctor Strange wasn't killed by a fork. He was killed by Black Bolt the most powerful of Inhumans who can destroy with a mere whisper.
The third eye reveal. It wasn't because of dream walking into a corpse...it was the corruption of the Darkhold, the book of the Damned. Even with every copy destroyed it still exacts a price from those who use it.
The woman in purple played by actress Charlize Theron is Clea. The niece of the Dread Dormammu. The portal she opened was to the Dark Dimension. Clea is a love interest for Doctor Stephen Strange. 😊
comics are earth 616, MCU is a variant of the Ultimate universe where cap have super powers instead of peak human and nick fury is sam jacksson instead of hasselhoff

Also that line "I'm not a monster, I didn't kill anyone!" gave me a laugh because she literally murdered a bunch of Students, a WW1 veteran, a Father and Professor X, a disabled man in a hover chair lol this did not make Wanda a good character.
Well the Darkhold seems to be like the Ring of Power in the lord of the rings. It starts taking over and you don't even notice until after you've ruined relationships and killed people LOL!

You know what that scene of Scarlet Witch going into the mind of Wanda made me think of? Being John Malkovich. That mind-bending movie should be watched with a chopped up pile of weed of various strains, all mixed together like when you can't decide on which flavour Slurpee you want so put them all in, and a bong, no joints that you'll Bogart, inhale all that THC.

Doctor Strange has a photographic memory, so the fact that he read the darkhold means that knowledge is still in his head despite Wanda destroying the darkhold in every universe. I think that's why the third eye appeared.
The eye opening is due to him reading the darkhold in the first place. Just as sinister mentions “The darkhold exacts a heavy toll” and for our strange, it’s that third eye. Not to mention the only spell he read was dreamwalking
This is indeed a very Strange movie
There are infinite universes and even if you somehow visited them all, there would still be half that you didn't.

Wanda and the kids aren't the exact same characters from Wanda/Vision, they're variants of those characters in a world that really exists in the multiverse. That Wanda has no powers or any knowledge of the artificially created variant of her that Scarlet Witch erased in the MCU.
The tv show ended with the boys in opposite beds so essentially what Scarlet Witch thought was her own ideal life she created out of nothing was just her tapping into the multiverse where that life was reality then she created a mirror image of a small part of that universe for her artificial version in the MCU. The kids on the tv show were like magical manifestations, solid holograms that were programmed like AI versions of the real kids in this movie who have no knowledge or memory of the events of the tv show. It's not that confusing when you think about it. Or maybe you need to smoke a joint before you start thinking, that would help.

Theories all point to the multiverse being infinite, at least in our own comprehension. Meaning if there was a closed number, it would be so large that our brains wouldnt be able to comprehend it, nor could you write the number even if you spent the rest of your life (without sleep or bathroom or breaks of any kind) writing zeros
