Well, we do have non-Jedi like Chirrut and Maz Kanata who are able to use the force, albeit to a far lesser degree than the Jedi are capable of. Nonetheless, the potential is certainly there if LucasFilm would like to pursue that.

I don’t mean to touch upon hot button topic but doesn’t the knights of rens mentality and disloyalty to Ben Solo when he disowns himself as Kylo Ren and feel the need to be viscous don’t they remind you of certain spineless cowards in certain sections of the internet that participate in a cruel thing called oh what was it….cancel culture.
