This is really good! Similar to what I pictured if Rey took his hand. Kylo felt he could not return to the resistance, none the less in that moment he wanted Rey. If she had asked him to spare the resistance she would have agreed.
I already like this way more than the TLJ ending and all of TROS. Good news is that Ben is back in the rumor mill and fans LucasFilm are talking about him again. There's a good chance he'll be back, but it could be a while.

Even if DLF spends the next year or two with the High Republic as it's main focus, Ben can still become more popular. I'm pretty sure that's what DLF is waiting for before bringing him back. Mollie Thomas yep, im not losing hope. Im just sad that we get to rehash Ben’s trauma when we’ve had only that in the sequel trilogy and the rise of kylo ren comics. I just want to see him start on the journey to be free of that pain and atoning for his past actions. But i guess we’ll have to wait a little more for that. Maybe we’ll get to see him come back with a Rey series.
I don't think the upper echelons of the First Order would've just acquiesced to allowing the Resistance remnant to live.. I think Hux and others would've plotted Kylo's death.. and Rey's.. their armies were indoctrinated from birth (the rank and file) so I don't think it would've worked.. and if I were Palpatine I would've sent hunters to capture Rey.. maybe even kill the daughter in order to stoke her anger!? It makes here that Palpatine is passive when he's anything but. A light sider with a family is vulnerable..they're not willing to let go of people.. is a very weak place for Kylo and Rey.. it's not a strength to build on at all.. emotion clouding judgment is not the way of the serene side of the Force.. it's dangerous and unstable..it's not going to create balance only drama (which I guess makes a story!) 😆

I am amusing myself with a bit of ST fan fiction right now , and have it that part of the reason that Rey turns down Ren is that she instinctively knows that she is the last person who should be ruling the galaxy. With her unfettered ambition and drive to win. Because protection from Unkar Plutt or not, Nobody survives the 14 years of hell she endured without a drive and a will to live and succeed. We’ve seen throughout all 3 films hints of her arrogance coming through. She’s stronger and more mature than he is. It would only be a matter of time that kind of power went to her head and she becomes his Lady McBeth to his McBeth. One of the things I love about Rey besides her self-reliance and her classy manner. Is the fact that she isn’t perfect. She’s kind because she chooses to be kind. Not some innate nature. There is a very strong Batman vibe coming from Rey she channels whatever darkness that is inside her to help others. She knows exactly what it feels like to be mistreated and abandoned, so she won’t do that to others. All the suffering and hardships she went through was to serve a greater purpose and to give her traits and qualities that she would not have gotten if she had a normal childhood and even if her parents had not spoiled her. I think Rey is too practical to go all Cersei Lannister, that kind of vicious behaviour serves no purpose. But I can see her being nasty and ruthless to people who cross her. It’s why so many fans are calling for Daisy to be cast as the Marvel character Spider-Woman/Jessica Drew (AKA Queen Veranke) if and when Marvel does the Secret Avengers story.
I wish you hadn’t glossed over how Kylo convinced the first order to follow him after he killed Snoke. In the movies he blamed Rey, but he’d have no scapegoat in this scenario.
What if Mace Windu raised Pong Krell? Or "what if PongKrell replaced Asajj Ventress/Savage Opress as dooku assassin ?(tryin to see twin purple&twim crimson blades) he is underatted and hated without giving him respect hes a Master one of 12 High General , Trained by battle master Cyn Dralig and second in command becoming battle master while Cyn is away aswell as Jedi Weapons master, 8+ feet 200kilos ability to force push in 4 directions aswell as only one two master jarkai varient ataru&niman w pair of saberstaff, incredible strength speed agility and his visions r proof of his power , he uses green&blue cuz hes sentinal also reason Grand Inquisitor as a jedi
Can you do what if Luke was caught in empire strikes back by lord vard and he brought him frozen in combining to his master show the dark side wins with the rise of the new sith empire years of winner and losers luke has a wife with two sith taught children till force awaken rey is bens twin how the Jedi children battle the sith children Vader joins his grandchildren and fight his master to become the second white jedi something you can work with if you want would like to see this in a your view
