Its probably best mentioned that midcaps such as the epm1 will sometimes break push style speedloaders. a Ludex 1600 (on Amazon) apparently alleviates this and at 10 - 12bbs / crank!
There is a speed loader that I got at CC Paintball and it can hold I think 1000 rounds and it’s a wind up. Just insert you mag into the slot and start spinning until you feel like it’s full.
In my rental game they gave me a lancer speed mag and 130 rds wasn't even close to enough. All we could do was reload by hand but we didnt have enough time to reload mags. If we had a second mag that wouldn't be so much of a problem but sorry you don't give rentals midcaps. You give them hicaps so they can just pour them in the resivoir should it run out. On a side nite if you have the money buy an odin innovations speedloader. Dont get any of the knockoffs. Theres so many different rebrads of the vaken knocoff sidewinder. Theres also th tranzfirmer wgat allows you to attach a bottle insdead of refilling it. Don't have M4 mags no problem. There's also engineers who are making adapters for other things like for instance there's a cas file to 3d print an adapter for the 40 Mike and master mike
The only thing about that particular speed loader that I've noticed is that it's not particularly reliable because half the time isn't even download anything at all
Hey! Nice video! I have a question though. I'm planing on buying the midcap you have in this video (I'm guessing it's an Ares amag midcap?) and I was wondering how it is? Is it sturdy or does it feel cheap? Whats the overall feel? Thank you!
I got one I think it’s a mid-cap but it has a slider on the top that you just pull to the side and pour them in I’m new to airsoft so I don’t know that much
@@surrealreviews yep, tested the mag on the new colt m4 blast red fox I got (mag came with it) I was using it in my back garden until I realised I wasn’t winding it enough since before I could only do full auto for about 2-4 seconds but when I winded it up fully I could do it for a much longer time (I thought you stopped when you felt it get harder, but do you do it until you can’t hear anymore clicks?)
@@freakybrodem4709 To be honest I haven’t used my high cap all that much, I’ve just winded it until it felt somewhat harder. Though I personally use mid caps so I’m not sure if that is the correct way of going about it.
Yes, a hi cap you pour the bbs in and wind them but a mid cap you use a speedloader. Mid caps hold a lot less (generally around 130 but some go higher), hi caps may hold more (at least 300) but you have to wind them a lot. You don’t have to wind mid caps.
@@surrealreviews The lonex go around 15-17$ but a bit of a pain to find. As for the epm-1s, I personally prefer investing in good mags so I don’t have to buy new ones every 3-4 months give it o take, this things are literally tanks, and like 90bucks for 3 mags carrying 750 bbs total for me is worth it! Most of the time I don’t have the space on my plate or belt for more mags and the games in the camp I play classes are bb capped, assault 800, support 2000, dmr/sniper 200 and + 120 for pistols.
I'm quite new to airsoft and i dont understand the gear on the bottom of the mag. (I have an AK) Every time i reload i have to wind the gear on the bottom and i dont get how people just fire as soon as they reload
Mid cap magazines are the ones without the wheel. They have a spring built in like an actual rifle magazine that feeds the bbs in. But they hold less (100-200ish vs 300+ for hi caps) and you need a speed loader to load them since you can’t just pour in bbs like in hi caps.
when I push down on the speedloader, the bbs already in the mag will pop out into the speedloader chamber. I have to push down and take off the loader then repeat to fill the mag. anyone knows how to fix it?
Or hear me out, use a straw and at the end of the toob, put a mechanical pencil in it and get a rod to feed it. How it is going to hold? Take out the feed lip
@@UTTPwillFAILnot the complete truth, there are high cap mags that do not need to be winded up or pressure built up, but most are so it depends on what you find

I liked and subscribed because of the 59 bbs

Ya a speed loader should definitely be part of the things you buy when your first start off playing airsoft
And then compare that to an Odin or Odin like speed loader
I actually just got the Odin a couple of days ago so that is a great idea!
