What happens to all that blood sugar? In healthy people, it is either burned for energy for stored as glycogen/fat. In diabetics it is burned, stored, excreted in urine (damaging kidneys) or accumulated in blood (damaging organs it comes into contact with). It has to go somewhere. Kidneys transplants itself cost thousands of dollar to maintain (on top of the initial cost the transplant). if you have some type of diabetic condition that all does not work. it's the insulin. you can run 10 miles a day and you might still not lose weight because of a diabetic condition, if you eat healthy things like 'potatoes and pasta' corn rice because of a diabetic condition, it is not entirely only 'being fit and active and eating healthy' if you have a diabetic condition that causes you to gain weight despite being 'active' and eating 'healthy'

How did u know u had kidney failure?
Them saying this publicly talking about how good the miss use of a drug is...
But if I snort and Adderall instead of ingesting it I'm a drug addict..... double standard...
Meanwhile people with actual diabetes, can't get the medicine they need
Really?! It’s prescribed to diabetics for weight loss!!! Be mindful of its black box warning for Thyroid cancer
@@kimlarso this comment has nothing to do with what I said. My parent is a diabetic that was on this medication and because it's been subscribed "off label" for weight loss, people that reply on it can't get it because it's in extreme short supply
As of summer 2024 the Osempyc weight loss users have been becoming blind as side effects, scary!.
You know they have this thing called a gym… and a good diet 🤷♂️ … but most people don’t understand that
When there is benefit, there is also harm and risks.
When they stop taking it, they will gain all of the weight back plus some.
It might have side of effects but being overweight has worse side effects
Look at Angela Bassett. She has a great diet regimen she talks about. She doesn’t take any drugs. These wealthy celebrities have great resources to organic healthy foods & meal plans. Why can’t the celebrities using Ozempic utilize those amazing resources?
Yeah but She is also very rich She has a personal trainer money to buy healthy foods money to pay for her cook sily
The fen-phen finale: a study of weight loss and valvular heart disease
Imagine utilizing diet and exercise?
While promoting passively aggressively indirectly promoting this drug =please also bring to the people’s attention the drug has an FDA ‘black box Warning’ that this drug may cause ‘Thyroid Cancer!’….along w all the other possible adverse/side effects, Thanks, thanks A lot!
🦋
Self control doesn’t have side effects. And it’s free!
Smh people too lazy to use the gym and control their gluttony disgusting 🤮
So it's "fatphobic" to promote healthy diet and exercise but its totally fine to promote diet pills and weight loss surgery.
I believe it should be only for insulin resistance and diabetics patients. If you don’t have any health issues you shouldn’t be using this medication. Same thing with aderal many abuse it and now the doctors don’t want to prescribe it even though you actually need. ☹️
I've been diabetic for 20 years and this drug was a miracle for me. And now it's getting harder to access. Thanks you celebrity pricks.
Who wouldn't love to lose weight?!? But it's not worth the risk if it might mess with your pancreas or kidneys.
Is the whole world going crazy?🤦♀️
YES.
I’m pre-diabetic and was just prescribed Wegovy! I hope it helps reverse my diagnosis and helps with some weight loss at the same time. I also pray it gives me energy since this condition I have has me exhausted all the time.
Wegovy is FDA approved for weight loss.
What about people who need it
I’m gonna be a Ozempic dealer.🧥💉
All I have to say is that America is a failed society. Completely.
This is in Dallas TX also....doctor handing it out easily if you have the $.
It should only be used for people who really need it.
Exercising and eating healthy it's just too difficult I guess. I hate it here
if you have some type of diabetic condition that all does not work. it's the insulin. you can run 10 miles a day and you might still not lose weight because of a diabetic condition, if you eat healthy things like 'potatoes and pasta' corn rice because of a diabetic condition, it is not entirely only 'being fit and active and eating healthy' if you have a diabetic condition that causes you to gain weight despite being 'active' and eating 'healthy'
For those using it the medication other than what it's meant for....It the New Crack😂😂😂
Took Ozempic for diabetes for a year and never lost a pound. Inflamed my pancreas.
0:33 vomit I don’t like these ppl at all
Its either Ozempic or 3 month drug binging molly, coke, lsd, and opiates.... Is Ozempic really that bad?
Lol. Probably cheaper too
😆😂😭
If it slows down digestion it can slow down other bodily functions...be careful 😮
I heard so many people in Brazil is using it. It cost a lot of money there…. but it’s not stoping them from buying it
These drugs all require a doctor's prescription, so it's not like everyone ran out to get it because they saw it on tik tok. Doctor's have also been prescribing drugs for other uses for years. This one is no different. Blame the pharmaceutical companies.
Eat less and do more exercise it’s that simple
I'm sure some people need this for weight loss, but I would feel uncomfortable taking this, especially given some of the side effects.
Saw this last night.
I watch inside edition every night ❤️.
I used to take this because I am diabetic and I lost no weight. It gave me horrendous nausea.
I'm staying away from Ozempic
It was approved for weight loss. A few months ago.
Something that’s too easy he’s gonna have side effects. You know it doesn’t have bad side effects Good old exercise and eating healthy
This is exactly why my patients have a hard time getting this medication. I have even let my providers know to not prescribe it for off label use.
The placebo affect 🥴
No, it is a powerful drug for blood sugar.
Chelsea Handler is something else
That stock footage of the injection 😂. They really were going for it yea? 😆
Can't stand those stupid ozempic ads
Heard once you start you can’t stop or it will effect your health.
Sounds like a good way to have insulin issues. There's another product bodybuilders use, I can't remember the name but a risk is some kind of chronic hypoglycemia...doesn't seem worth it to me.
In a year they will all get sick
Oh really. I've heard of this new thing: It's called Exercise!
Too hard, too much effort ,too long
@@retrozip lmao its not hard you just have a weak mindset and thats something workout will change. Everything is hard when you look at it its just sad if you wont try it and become the best you
@@mombo920 I was talking about why people in general don't exercise and only take the easy route
Is this going to be another type of Fen-phen story ? Where in months or years to come ppl will be having major complications from using it??
It already has an FDA black box warning for Thyroid Cancer
Yap but they won't realize that until they become sick and then it will be i wish I had never started !!!!!
@@saracruze2212 That's for sure!!
uh no. it's a glp1 mimetic. same action as natural occurring hormone in your body. regarding the thyroid issue someone posted below that was in a mice study where the give the mice the human equivalent of gallons of the stuff. nothing to be worried about.
I have diabetes. I am insulin resistant. This drug has helped me tremendously. Now I can barely get it….
United States is truly like a parody country
It has a lot of side effects! 👎👎 Stop being desperate!
They want to sell it to everyone don't let the disclaimer fool you. They just need to keep making it.
Should I take health advice from Chelsea Handler? "I've injected about 4 or 5 of my friends with Ozempic"... really? You share your prescription drugs with your friends? Miss Handler? Fyi I've been on Ozempic for 18 months, no weight loss.
Wow your Doctor should of took you off it if you didn’t lose weight in the first month don’t you think
Or you can just consistently eat healthy and exercise and drink water and dont consume toxins like alcohol.
Thats too easy 😂
could say the same about diabetics
That's harder. Ozempic is easier.
I don't do any of the above
Knowing its on back order and people actually need it and others using it for their weight is simply crazy tbh.
Probably because they’re too lazy to put effort in at the gym??? I feel sorry for those that need it to survive.
Quick fix always disappoints
You're thin and you go to Dialysis. Amazing.
A lot of her Hollywood pales would swear by cocaine and meth as a weight loss supplement
