I used to weigh over 264lbs. I stand at 5 ft 11 in and most people thought it was a good look, but I was struggling walking, lazy and kept eating. I decided to cut my meals down to 1.5 meals a day and I'd only eat early afternoon or early evening. I'd eat sunflower and pumpkin seeds, nuts and raisins throughout the day. If I already ate my 1.5 meals but I was still hungry, I'd make an Oatmeal smoothie. Oatmeal and Vanilla almond milk and drink that. Oatmeal is heavy and tricks the mind into believing that the stomach is full. I would Fast routinely. Today I weigh 190lbs without any drugs. Just pure common sense and dedication.
Congratulations, and good job; your hard work is paying off! I'm also 5 ft 11 in height, and though I go to the gym five days a week, I still struggle with weight loss. I'm always fluctuating between my ideal weight (there was a 4 pack to be seen) and slightly overweight. When I'm overweight (like I'm now), I tend to have above-normal blood pressure. I shudder thinking about what can happen to people who are overweight and God forbid, obese all the time... The amount of stress on people's bodies. Not gonna live long this way. So, this is a reminder for myself, to keep in shape.
I took the drug and quit after 3 months because of blurred vision,, I still have vision problems like I am trying to see looking through a glass of water.

Kudos to Jamie Lee for sharing! For those of us suffering from obesity, we desperately need to hear of the warnings and potential risks of GLP1 medications. In her case, the side effects seem more dangerous than the kilos lost. Wishing her the best.😢

@@dumlittlebunnycontact1274 Well I'm not taking the drug for weight loss as this woman was. I am taking the drug for the reason it was made. So maybe that has something to do with it mate.

Youre yhe only person in the history of Ozempic to say massive weight gain. I wonder what it was triggering to have that effect! Did you ever follow up with another doctor? Sorry to hear that happened to you! Hope you're doing well now
There are way more folks that have been helped by this medication than those that have adverse effects. What this report fails to give that the side effects is lower than not only what the effects of obesity has but also lower than all the top 25 medications that are being prescribed right now.
This is probably sponsored by the junk food industry. They are losing lots of money. Of course, people must eat small meals. Eat fiber. Drink drink drink.
I have used Ozempic since 2016 for Diabetes. My doctor told me then that it was for my Diabetes BUT they just started letting it out that it helps with weight too. Although they aren't promoting it as such, IT IS A DIABETES MEDICATION. He told me there weren't really any side effects except that you will have no appetite, so make sure you set certain times to eat. If you wait until your hungry it may be a day or so. That is the only side effects he said. I read the paperwork inside the box. It didn't say much about side effects. So I started doing the shots, the next day. Within hours I was nauseous and that continued for about 4 days, I couldn't eat or sleep during that time. Called the doctor on the 2nd day, was told it's just your body getting used to the medication. Keep hydrated and it will stop in a day or so. Your okay. So I continued with the waiting. It subsided a bit by the time for the next injection. Did it. Nausea. For 4 weeks, I went through this. Finally I got relief when I made sure to have 3-4 slices of unsalted bread in my stomach before I did the injection. However, it's now 8 years later and it's gotten worse. I STILL HAVE NAUSEA and so bad that I have layed on the floor, begging for God to take my life for a week straight. I haven't been able to function, cook, clean, do anything normal people do. I have had my Gallbladder removed because we thought it was the problem. I have had ultrasounds, X-Rays, CT scans, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, (ALL Multiple times) just to figure out what is causing the DEBILITATING NAUSEA. I have been prescribed medication for Ulcers, even though I didn't have any. It was just to see if the medicine would make it stop. I am on 4 other medications to quell the nausea, they help some, but they raise my blood pressure to stroke levels. I have had 3 strokes in one day 2 years ago on Christmas. NO DOCTOR I have come in contact with and that has been many many of them has told me that Ozempic is the cause. UNTIL I went to my 3rd Gastroenterologist for the usual tests, then she said, "That's what Ozempic does, is get you nauseous so you don't eat, so your blood sugar goes down but because your so stressed because of the nausea and not eating, your blood pressure goes up. It's called Gastroparisis"(? spelling). I had never heard that word or anything else about the side effects of Ozempic until June 2024! Now I don't know what to do. Some days I just want to die, because I'm sick of being sick 🤢😢
