Very cool jam my friend! I just started learning the Model:Samples and to be honest most powerfull of all budget grooveboxes for live peroformances. I have to Volca Sample AND all the PO's Metal Series. The MS is just easy to use for live expressions, just saw how you put yur performance together, learned alot by watching you! Thnks!
I recorded the bass samples on the microbrute which are played separately on the MS, not sequencing through it. I wish I knew how to do that! Thank you I like to use filter cutoff before bringing in or taking a sound out I think that has helped with the transitions. I also save my samples in a particular sequence so its easy to bring them in as needed. But you can see I made mistakes in this set at times and didn't choose the right sample.
@@theakshatkajla Wow! So as I understand you recorded the bass loops from Microbrute and then imported them into the Model:Samples, correct? You can indeed sequence the Microbrute with the M:S via MIDI and then tweak the Microbrute knobs (filter, dekay, etc.)! I suppose you just have to set the Microbrute to the same MIDI channel as the track in your M:S. I’m about to get my M:S (I just ordered it few days ago) and I was looking for inspiring videos on RUclips to get an idea of what it is capable of! Seems like it is pretty powerful indeed! Thanks to your video I realized you can even DJ with it! Now imagine what you can do if you connect more synths and fx! Wow! Regarding the mistakes, actually I didn’t notice them at all! Very nice set! Just wondering why you recorded it in mono! With stereo it would sound much much fuller and wider! But anyway, sounds awesome as is!
I'm happy you like it, thank you for the listem. And for sure I took a picture of the settings I hope it helps. I lost my original mod matrix cables so I'm just using a general 3.5mm. Cheers! imgur.com/gallery/yhWajbH
The picture might not be clear for this one but having your filter in band pass filter setting is important. Try playing with the others it changes quite a bit.
best house set on the model samples i've seen. amazing
Trueeee
Bangin!!!!
Superb 👌

Dope. Is everything playing through MS or are you triggering other devices / DAW?
great jam!:)
Thank you :)
Are those deep house samples included with the elektron?
Very cool! Are you sequencing your Microbrute with the Model:Samples? And how do you manage to get those smooth transitions?

Hey I really love your jam session. I just bought a microbrute today! Are you willing to share the settings for how you made the bassline?
