I watched so many film about the shortening a jean with original ham & this method was the best!

Thank you for sharing your skills. I was mesmerized with your precision with the needle. I followed your steps for the first part and that worked out pretty well. Now Im on the second half. At first I thought "oh this is fine" but a 2" inside look awful when i pressed them. So hopefully I can do that invisible stitch. Thanks again.😍

Think it’s called invisible stitch the stitch. There are more tutorials on with contrast colour thread so one understands how it works. Check it out
Beautifully executed.
Instead of using the invisible stitch, one can secure the extra material inside by ironing in heavy duty Stich Witchery.
That's my go to since my fingers get numb and I tend to prick myself with the needle.
That’s really smart as you can keep the tapered leg shape. Which is often lost when you cut the fabric.

I'm a dressmaker and I know she is very good bravo
Never do this.The pant becomes uncomfortable.Bottom heavy.Especially during rains,or hiking in wet environment.
If you want to shorten,just cut and stitch.
Stitching technique may be excellent.But that is not the point.And after a few days if wear,you will see the lines of folds.

Did you shorten it 2cm or 4cm? Because it's folded
I think ilt''s should be 1/2 of mesure.
I’ve never seen that type switch at the end. Initially I thought it was going to leave a large switch. Another comment said it’s a blind switch. I was about to miss it until I got to the end and saw the removing of the switch. I had to remind to take note. Patience.

Very good but with tht thin cotton it won't hold very long Nd it will come off in the wash .so u need a very strong cotton tht will not snap easy.

If you have a shop tht does keycuts they should have tht strong cotton it's on a piece of card it's a light brown colour the cotton and it's very strong too it's good for anything fixing couches etc.
