I've reached the point, thanks in no small part to you, that I just wing the dinners all the time. No recipe, nothing is ever the same, and it always ends up good.
I just saw a short last night with something a little like this. I think the video was called something like "What's an italian dog?". The guy would cook pizza dough in thick rounds to make something like a pita pocket, then cook the dog, sliced onions and peppers, and chopped potatoes all in a deep fryer, stuff them into the opened half rounds, then top with ketchup and mustard. Looked amazing.
This is crazy, I've made almost the same thing for four years in college. I originally meant to make pigs in a blanket but I bought regular size dogs by accident (instead of the mini dogs). I made dough but it wouldn't stretch enough around the regular size dog without tearing, so I just laid it on top and put it in the oven. I'm not kidding, it's exactly like this! I made them almost every week for four years straight and all off my friends loved them. This is just blew my mind and brought back so many memories.

Pizza dough has become my arch nemesis. Tossing 2 whole packs of instant yeast into 4 cups flower plus everything else, and having it work blew my mind.
