@ady you can remove the rocker cover and check the tension if it’s still tight you’re good to go may need to do it after the engines spun over a couple times etc as the black car I built goes loose when sat for a while but goes tight again as it’s a non genuine chain kit. Appreciate you taking the time to watch the videos too 👍🏻
Im not sure you mentioned it but another place where they leak is around the rubber gromet surrounding the third brake light wires. It took me ages to locate my leak, after replacing everything it was still letting in water until i sealed the area....hope this helps someone out 👍🏻
Good video mate. Leaks are a pain in the arse to find. Ive been trying to find the one in my boot, ive replaced 3rd brake light and now the leak has moved to puddle under the n/s rear light. I might try the foam idea and recut a new seal for that. I have also found that the passenger footwell is abit damp aswell now which is annoying as it is getting abit smelly
Thanks mate yeah they’re such a pain hopefully that’s it on my one haha bloody cars! As for the passenger footwell it could be the wiring loom grommet or the rear screen washer pipe
Cheers, I will check that out aswell then. The scuttle under the front window isnt stuck down to the glass (it hasnt been since i bought the car 5 yrs ago) i dont known if thats not helping. We shall see
I was searching for my leak for at least 6 months until I found the issue with mine. Under the roof rail the seam sealer had cracked which let watch in. Quick refesh and I've had zero issues. Biggest headache lol
Good video ted as per
Thanks mate much appreciated 👍🏻😊
