      I’ve had issues with certain adapters. Make sure you can see the Ethernet connection in your settings.

    Just to be clear if I’m coding with my iPhone 13 I only need the ethernet cable, the lightning adapter and the BimmerCode app in order to code correct?

    Eddie since I’m a BimmerCode neophyte do you have a list of key changes I should make to our 2023 X6 4.0 that we’re ordering soon? Thanks again. Cheers!

      I'm have to look more in-depth once I my hands on a G chassis car. I’ll have to see what's available and what the options are. We have a 2023 X3 on order so hopefully I’ll bring more content soon.

    BimmerCode virgin here, I’ve seen a few of your videos, thank you. I’m actually waiting for the on line ordering for the 2023 X6 4.0 to become available, hopefully soon. Quick question, I do like the cable option however I’m not sure which one of these two adapters is need to connect to my iPhone. Or do I need them both? I imagine on a 2023 there will be a few items that I can change directly in the I8 drive, however there will be a few items like this pic back up which is important in my opinion. Thanks again.

      It depends on your device.
      If you want to use your iPhone you’ll need the Ethernet to lighting connector.
      I also use my iPad Pro for tuning so I have the Ethernet to usb-c

    Quick question: Is this permanant change, meaning not specific to a particular driver's key fob? Thanks

    • @eddiemcars
      @eddiemcars  2 года назад

      Correct. Since it’s via coding, It’s a semi-permanent change unlike a setting that’s specific to a key fob.

    2016 X5 50i. ... wait wait. Turn signals in HUD but not from factory or just a feature on the main screen? Why wouldn't BMW do this hardcoded??

    • @eddiemcars
      @eddiemcars  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, this is my second X5 with HUD and I don’t understand why it didn’t come this way.

  • @ns8548

    I had my X5M remote coded by someone. I also have bimmercode app. If I use the app to activate this, will I still retain all my original coding?

    • @eddiemcars
      @eddiemcars  Год назад +1

      Yes, you’ll still retain your codes. It will only change if you modify their specific codes from the person who remote coded

    And Rolling in front?? Dont make bip bip??

    • @eddiemcars
      @eddiemcars  Год назад

      By default and factory programming, It will activate PDC automatically and 360 cameras when pulling in close to an object or another car, such as when parking. Reverse gear will always trigger PDC and rear/360 camera.
      However if you’re in DRIVE and have an unintentional roll back, this coding should alert you.
