Well, my question for them is a one-off battery or all of the "new ones" have the correct cells and low temperature sensor? I have already seen what the first one was, so I dont think I could trust them. At least you got 3 batteries out of them to test or use to run the water pump. Thanks for the video and giving an honest review!
Always nice to get a surprise battery delivery no doubt. Even missing the sensor in the first one isn’t as big of a deal as asking me to betray my viewers! That’s the whole issue. The batteries are made ok, decent quality parts/wire/capacity/good cells. It’s the advertising/PR team that’s disappointing and needs improvement.
@THEOFFGRIDMOUNTAINHOMESTEAD very true! I see it in my business as well. Manufacturers say it is one thing until you are into it and find that is not what it should be. Sad that this the normal. American companies are doing as well. Thanks for all the hard work and dealing with less than desirable people.
@@THEOFFGRIDMOUNTAINHOMESTEAD. Thanks a million:). I live up in Minnesota and looking to power up my shed and this was one of the least expensive self heating batteries available. I was thinking about getting 4 of them. Really appreciate you replying!
You’re most welcome! I’ve got 2 batteries on the test bench at the moment. Might be a week or so before I get to the Vatrer! I’ll also discuss some other generic battery heating options for you during the Vatrer video! Glad to be able to help my viewers! Thanks!
What brand and kind of gloves do you wear? I want to buy a pair off Amazon but I have no knowledge with electricity and don't want to buy a pair of gloves that aren't what they say they are. Greatly appreciate a recommendation and thank you kindly for all you do for us off grid community folks. Peace from Alberta Canada. P.S. Mother nature up here is already in the below 0 celcius temperatures now.
The glove I wear in videos are cut resistant Dulfine brand. They are not electric rated. Are you wanting gloves for line voltage AC or just for DC for 12V batteries? I wouldn’t worry a lot if 12V DC is all you are working on, it’s mostly touch safe for your skin. Don’t short tools or metal across +\- 😃 36/48 and higher you can get a little jumpstart under right conditions. Higher than that danger increases even more. Take care in 🇨🇦 ! Down in district 12 USA 😉 (Appalachian mtns) it was 34°F this AM!
I think they are gonna take you off their Christmas card list 🤓. Thanks for an honest review (again). Think it’s a pass on this group of battery’s. Have a good one.
I’m sure of it, that’s ok! I’d much prefer you know the truth, I know some have been tempted into selling out to some of these brands. That’s never happening here. Take care, always enjoy seeing you in the comments section!
I emailed them last night for a Replacement on a 100 ah battery. They agreed to send me a new one AS Soon as they come in. I guess they are out of stock 😂
Out of stock on their 100Ah? That’s odd. Seeing them on Amazon and website shipping by June 28. If you don’t mind my asking, what happened to your battery? What application were you using for? I like to know how others use their batteries and be on lookout for failures or possible issues with different brands! Thanks!
@@THEOFFGRIDMOUNTAINHOMESTEAD I bought 2 12 Volt 100AH. For my solar system. I charged 1 with no problem the 2nd battery would not charge. I tried 2 different Lipo4 chargers nothing worked. I hooked up 2 different 12 volt inverters nothing the one battery has 11.30 on my Fluke meter it's like the BMS is unhook I think it's just one of those things that happen. Both Batteries look good. Packaged well
Of all the companies I’ve worked with, this is the first to ask for a video removal. Even the company with the pouch cell battery the other day just asked how they can improve, didn’t ask to remove video.

2:29 Love it❤❤❤😮😊
Thanks!
Please pop that 100ah Self heated battery up. I’m looking for an outdoor shed battery. Great video.
I’m torn about giving them more airtime but if it will help you, I’ll be glad to test it out! I’ll include it in an upcoming video for you!

Too many other choices out there to take a chance and trust this company.
As I told another commenter, not even the pouch cell battery company acted like this. First time I’ve ever had a company do this!

Maybe you could try another battery.🤓
I’ve tested many brands!
Can’t buy integrity. Cheers!
