Amazing videos!! In the case we have supersedure or emergency queen in lets say mid season or before fall, how does she mate? does she leave the nest to mate with drones? are there drones still active and flying outside??

a few years ago i stepped on a wasp in the kitchen during midnight snack mission. i walk barefoot outside all day dont get stung or bit from anything. walk out to the kitchen in the middle of the night for a snacky, step on a wasp. lol i hope im not allergic to bees... it seriously hurt more than stepping on a shard of glass. my little toe swelled up for a couple hours . my poor toe!
btw no i didnt kill the wasp... even tho i wanted to smooosh her. i captured her and released her the next day. what a mean bug. though, i did technically step on her to be fair. she was a black wasp with a yellow face.
