It's the GBA port of the great SNES Game from 1994 released in 2003.
Meantime after SNES (1994) and GBC (2000/2001) the third version of Donkey Kong Country (1).
In contrast to SNES and GBC has the game with this a new mini game (the Funky Minigame was already in GBC)
and the DK Attack where you can collect a lot of points for good grades.

Not the best port, but I have to admit that they put good work into this port. No framerate drops, no audio cracks, it's pretty good.
This was the version I grew up playing. I was born 4 years after the original version came out.

This game is like the second part of part 1 in the SNES version one i really like what they did there they make the bosses more stronger extra games has been added and extra stuff has been added also making this game a perfect one

I guess you can say the same with super mario world on gba.
This game was too fucking hard for me when I was 5 years old. Hard to believe I beat it but I can remember playing the final two boss fights on my grandmas couch.
I honestly think that this version would've gone over better if it didn't have so many additional obnoxious sound effects over the original.
Apart from the inferior audio and graphics compared to the SNES, I really enjoyed the new content in this version

I mean the game runs at under that and RUclips doesn't allow 60fps in videos under 720p, so yeah, it's fine.
Why would you need the best quality for an old game like this?
@@Kanzuki pixel perfect and higher resolution makes these kind of games look beautiful. The blurryness and low quality resolution doesnt help much...

The graphics look oversaturated and brighter, making it look inferior to the snes counterpart. Sure there's a restoration hack, but I heard it doesn't work for the USA or the JPN rom! ...well not yet.

I prefer the snes version but i just can’t denie that despites the overbrighted colors and mostly wrong sound effects & instruments,that i am jalous about those improvements here and there, such as extra front ground objects such as in the mine car levels,those temple levels and jungle levels among other extra effects such as smoke etc,,, ,i like the zoomed in animated word maps,and those mostly incorrect sound effects & instruments are off much higher quality,crystall clear with no muffle in it,just when you think that things cannot be any better,then you’re wrong,still trough i prefer the snes version.

Snes is better
SNES looks and sounds better, but GBA has an intro cutscene, more minigame, improved map screens, and much more. That and the much better save system make the GBA version feel more complete.
