Very detailed and informative. Many thanks. Would appreciate your thoughts or even a short video at some future time on how to pass the double-sleeve guard when we start from closed guard and my opponent intelligently moves to feet-on-hips when I am still on my knees. Especially if the guy has really strong grips and is sensitive to my attempts to stand up. Any ideas would be appreciated
One thing I like to do here is what Jon did to begin with where he turns his body to face the free potential spider leg. But I then use the free hand to grab my own lassoed sleeve inside the sleeve and break the lasso grip or extending it to swim my hand behind the thigh. If I don't break it fully and get behind the thigh with the lasso hand I can throw by. If I break fully then I get as deep as I can working my pass.
Awesome as always JT. I have a training partner who has a great double sleeve game and ties it with a de la X which is giving me headaches. Not getting there in the first place is obv the main aim but any advice on recovery from that position?
Hi Jon, thanks for the video. I really appreciate how you show multiple scenarios for passing double sleeve. What adjustments would you make if your opponent has a deep lasso?
Thanks for the video! Wow! Quick question: do you ever attempt to break the non lasso side grip? I have seen pros stepping on arms to break. Just wondering if it is an option I should be trying when passing double sleeve. (I circle my hand to break too but advance guys kill it with that counter you do.)
I didn’t even watch this video, but I already know it’s savage!
Edit: I watched, and it was as expected 👏👏👏
Hahaha thanks a lot buddy happy you liked it, haven’t seen much content out on dealing with this position.
Very good stuff. I think this is going to help me a lot, thanks so much for sharing.

Very few good videos on it online.

Thank you
Jon, how do you pass double sleeve with a delariva hook and leg past body? A guy keeps getting me with a tripod type sweep from here. Thanks
Exactly my problem 🥺

Why have you betrayed us so, Jon?
Hahaha sorry buddy I have to help the passers too sometime, but also this means I will be showing more modern guard comment to stay ahead as well
I hate double sleeve guard players!!
