GOOD LIFTUHHH
0:10 You can hear the crowd laughing at how ridiculously easy Chen made that snatch look. 😂
My OCD flares up when Shi doesn't do his signature yell even at sub max weights.
Good lifteeehh

Their lifting motions are so beautiful and perfect
150kg power snatch at 73kg is insane
You had me at “Chinese.”
Shi looks surprised at his own speed at 140kg @ 01:37
Dayin's 170kg has me shook @ 03:22
I have to watch way more Fabin and Lyodong after this. Great upload.
Shi is a beast .
Love from India
Dayin! Dayin! Dayin!
"Good lift aaaahhhhhhh"
Shi Zhiyong saying “oh shit” in chinese when doing 180 😂
0:46 damn Bruno Mars is fucking strong
Excellent video.
this edit is brilliant, thanks atg.
Does anyone else find it insane that Shi did everything Tian did and MORE, except weighing upto 23 KILOS [~1-2 billion freedom units] less ??
Since he wasn't planning on lifting, and so left his gear in China, he *obviously* just does this fucking RAW. Probably doesn't even have to peak for International Comps, just walks around being able to throw around this weight.
Li Dayin is Poweeeeerrrrr
Китайцы настолько жёсткие, что у них в ассистентах Талахадзе сидит)
Is this a real competition and are they just so superior they can power everything and still win? Or is it like an exhibition?
ArminEghdamiDrums the superior part
It’s a real comp. they went lighter and powered everything to still post a total so they can complete their Olympic qualification process but also not have to worry about it effecting their training cycle or worry about possible injuries from maximal loads.
Im starting to think tian tao doesnt even know he double dips. He does it even with sub max weights like 150.
That's what I'm thinking too. It's very subtle, but it's still there.
I think it's just something his body naturally does
@@durrantmiller8810 true, he just needs to be careful then. It might cost him a good lift.
@@durrantmiller8810 he tends to do it even when catching if you notice
the weird thing about Tian is that all the weights seem the same weight to him and he behaves the same with them no matter how light or heavy. It's just a matter of him fucking up or not. He's the only person on Earth who can make a 5-10kg jump to a world record after two misses and make it look like an opener. His 230 and 231 c&js literally looked easier than his 220 openers.
why is everyone doing back jump
Damn 🔥 it’s crazy 😱 to fast to strong to power !!!!
good liftuuuh
Non weightlifter here, and would appreciate if anyone could explain why someone would do power snatches in competition? My understanding is that power snatches are harder than regular snatches because you'd need to pull the bar higher to get in a power position, which should mean you can probably lift more with a regular snatch. So my question would be why compete sub maximal weight? I'm sure i've seen it competed in bigger competitions before too. Cheeeeers
Indeed, you can lift more with a regular snatch. But they did not need and want to lift their maximal weights this competition, so they used the power variations. They need to compete in a several amount of competitions to qualify for the olympics. They probably did not want to risk injuries so that's why they did not lift maximal weights.
Are you talking about Shi? He's really just messing about lol unless he's going for a WR
these are all their warm up weights
SHIT judging/down signal timing on Qin Fulin's snatches
I just saw a recent interview with Lu Xiaojun who said he would be at this event since his injury at the World Championship is recovering well. I guess he had a set back in recovery and couldn't make it. :(
Nope, that was because 73~81 were merged into one weight class in this event, Lu decided there would be no point for him to go agasint Shi, so he let Shi compete in his shoes and singlet
Thrash_and_beer Wow where did you find that info? Lowkey disappointed that we can’t see the two bosses battle it out lol
WU CAO
Scintillating stuff.
Юры Варданяна на них нет!
👍
Sooooo, the English translation for "Wo Cao!" is "f*** you"?!?!?!
Somebody please confirm?
More like only "f**k"
some of the people in the audience are not even impressed by the chinese if you watch it from another video's angle. lol
smells like corona
Good Leeft Uhhhhh
2:32 Shi Zhiyong power snatch 150kg is absolutely mesmerizing.
I just lift recreationally...and it still scares me that I can't even deadlift some of these weights they are throwing over their heads.

Shizhiyong “Wo Cao” hhhhhhha. Love that so much!
Goooood liftUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUHU
When your deload is 180 kg
Chen Lijun had 145kg on the bar for his first CnJ attempt despite what the screen shows @ 3:40.
WO CAOOO!!! (Shi's scream ^_^) Thank you so much for uploading this. Cheers!
One of the first chinese words I learned :D
Shi is unstoppable 🏋️🇨🇳
AMAZING video!!! Thank you so much for the slow motion parts, it gives me a ton of quality technique and material to study.
It's crazy how Li Fabin (61) can power snatch more than than Chen Lijun (67)
Who the fuck dislike this video? LOL
Amazing editing. beautiful.
why is shi zhiyong wearing lu xiaojun's weightlifting get up?
It's his halloween costume. They did it for fun.
The irony that Schindler Lift’s sponsors an Olympic Weightlifting event..??
I love tian and Lu
Is this similar to Klokov's power weekend?
Not even close. Klokov had events like clean and strict press, rack jerk, snatch deadlift, etc
@@tonkizz1867 what does bronze level mean? You mean the athletes are only bronze medallers or the comp is
A Bronze Tier event refers to the ROBI point bonus an athlete receives, a small competition like this would have no multiplier a silver meet would have a 5% bonus on your ROBI points and 10% for a gold meet like the world championships
@@jojojlc7070 Bronze means, they're less valuable for Olympic qualification. (less robi points).
@@ryanreviews8566
Yes, ROBI points are for olympic qualification
I can't UNsee Zhe's bedazzled Romaleos lol.
Real man
150кг не прыгает
Guoude lifteuuuuh
Greatest Naim Süleymanoğlu 152,5 kg snatch at 60 kg and 190 c&j
The Pocket Hercules
Красавчики!👏
What is the main purpose and function of the power weekend ?
Syahrul Anwar Jamaludin simply to add to their qualification process for the olympics and also to show how elite they are by powering everything lol
This really isn’t a serious competition for them also
i'm confused, i thought you had to catch below parallel in the squat? it looks like a lot of these are power clean/snatches?
No, for olympic weightlifting competitions you don't have to catch the bar in a squat, as long as you can stand it up. However, at the competitive level, people will usually squat because it allows them to lift more weight. It's different in Crossfit, if that's what you're thinking of, because there it's not just about who can lift the most weight but also who can do it for many reps. While the squat snatch or squat clean does allow you to lift more weight, it's also more taxing, therefore some Crossfit workouts require you to go below parallel because that's the intended stimulus. But usually, at least in recent years, you're allowed to power at least in the strength events in Crossfit.
No, in olympic weightlifting you DON'T HAVE TO catch the bar below parallel, nor do you have the obligation to squat below parallel if you catch it higher. There is no such a rule in weightlifting. But lifters usually catch below parallel because it lets you lift more weight (because it doesn't require you to be so explosive to pull the bar up such a long distance).
Shi Zhiyoung power cleaned 190 kg in the world championship this year and it was a good lift. There is no rule against it.
The title says power
