For me my dream pet is a rabbit. I know how to care for them and I know how much work they are but i love them so much I'd be willing to do everything for one
malaysian cat geckos, blue tongue skink, reef tank, poison dart frogs, mexican black kingsnake! (currently own leo & crested gecko, strawberry pacman frog, 2 black eyed tree frogs, 2 red eyed tree frogs, and an axolotl!) :)
That was great. I enjoyed seeing each one, but especially all the different geckos. My dream pet is a horse. I'm 61 years old and was 52 before I could afford one. Now I'm blessed with 2: a rescued (ancient) thoroughbred cross and a Rocky Mountain Horse. But you're so right! Never get more animals than you can afford to care for and love without stressing your finances or energy. ❤️
There’s a horse rescue near me that adopts out rehabilitated horses and donkeys. And while the adoption fee is 500$, they also make sure that the adopter has proper facilities and the means to take care of them.
That’s amazing that you were able to achieve your dream and change there lives at the same time. Hopefully one day I’ll have my own too. I imagine it’s an amazing connection.
Thank u for the disclaimer. We get so many animals in our rescue because their owners can’t pay vet bills or for food. I’ve not eaten so that my dogs could eat. (This was right after u get very sick and had to stop working; however, I did get disability to cover my pets needs. And I have care credit if there r any vet emergencies. Love your enclosures. U r an amazing pet owner. I subbed right away.
Oh my gosh. You're the first reptile owner on youtube that actually impressed me. You can tell that you know your animals and the care they need. They look so healthy and the enclosures look really good. A lot of other reptile owners have very basic or absolutely horrible enclosures. Even though you have so many animals you really try to give them a natural and awesome place to stay. Seriously, they are amazing!
I have ONE question for people like you.. I’m guessing holidays aren’t an option right?😭😭😂😂 I’d love this life for me but I know I could never have enough time or money for the best care of this many animals. For now I’m happy with my two dogs and will see where life takes me ❤️ I’d love a cat and a ball python in the future!

@@desisarod Depends on the type of fish and how sensitive they are to ammonia, nitrites, nitrites, Etc. You need to check those levels pretty frequently if you have a more sensitive species. Water changes once a week typically. Feeding your fish every few days, again depends on the type of fish for frequency. If it’s a planted tank, you have to dose those with fertilizer, and trim them/just keep them healthy. Everything is so different depending on the size of tank, species of fish, and if it’s planted or not. Super fun and rewarding to have though!
There’s so many types of reptiles that I wish I could own. Currently I only have a beardie, and my furry pets, two dogs and two cats. The animal I want next, when I’m able to, is a hognose snake, specifically a lavender morph. I love ball pythons too, I had one before. There’s a couple morphs of them that I love and would love to own. Rainbow boas are so gorgeous and I’d love to have one eventually

Thankfully Josh is also very knowledgeable on animals!! We actually met each other while both working as zookeepers, so he’s a big fan of the animals as well ☺️

I think my dream pet was just having a snake, and I finally have one after 12 years of wanting one! He's a little California Kingsnake 🥰 though now I want more snakes lol. Love your collection!!!

Cool ya remind me of another youtuber who collect exotic animals, Emozotic she got some cute ferrets too! Oh btw I wish I have geckos or other kind of cute lizards and turtles, but yeah I'm always been around dogs and cats all of my life though
I love Sandwich most, what an absolute unit! But also the blue tongue skink and Alfredo who was croaking... Oh and the legless lizard, and the crested geckos, Yoshi is very clearly a male... 😚 I already have my dream pet, who is my soulmate Samuel, the cat. But I keep dreaming about pacman frogs and crested geckos.
That a lot of love to go around and so well taken care of.I want a snow corn snake,Mexican black king snake,banana Mojave ball python ,leopard gecko,crocodile monitor is my dream animal but am getting anckie to start,white tree frog,4 different types of dart frogs,barn owl,crow,koi my dream snake is a white lipped python and moths and butterfly garden.But my first pet I want a Brazilian black tarantula.
I always wanted a betta fish as I loved how intelligent, interactive, and beautiful they where so, in June I set up a 20 gallon tank and in august I ordered my Betta fish and my betta fish Joetta came in September ❤️
I hope someday I get to own and care for a chameleon! (Most likely a veiled chameleon) but I’m still in the research stage as far as getting informed knowledge about the enclosure requirements and stuff… that and I know the equipment/products needed will be costly and I’m a broke college student right now so it’s definitely a dream pet for the time being 😅
Hi Emma, love this video! Just had a question, the enclosures you have that only use UVB rather than any plant light, do the plants get on okay? I always assumed I’d need UVB and a plant growth light but your plants look fantastic in your arboreal set ups!! 🥰

some of these species are just amazing! but i think ill stick to my 22 reps ahaha i also have an ackie! my newest addition is he called phil and he is such a character! been a dream of mine for so many years! Derek is absolutely stunning! also have a gargoyle called dolly, she is a rescue and a bit worse for wear but still love her none the less, she was an old breeder kept in terrible conditions, loved the video! my childrens python is also a bit spicy we call her squeezy, can never get her out without getting a battle scar!

I have been wanting to get a Chinese water dragon for along time, I guess that’s my dream pet. Also, I thought you have bumble bee toads, were they rehomed or did I just miss them? Nice enclosures by the way 😊
They’re a very healthy weight. Unfortunately many, many reptiles in captivity are obese. Unfortunately it’s so bad to the point that most people think that healthy reptiles are under weight. Most reptiles, including leopard geckos are meant to be be lean. They should have some fat stored in their tail, but their bodies should remain lean. Their bodies aren’t well designed to carry fat, so it causes a lot of stress to their internal organs
This video is awesome! I love seeing all the different reptiles you have and learning more about them. My dream animal is some kind of snake- not sure which one as my parents were afraid of them so I knew I wouldn’t be allowed to have one until I moved out, but I adore snakes! I also really loved the leopard geckos you had so I’m kind of wanting one now 😂 Would do a lot of research before getting a reptile though, of course! As for now, I have two cats and I love them both to pieces 🥰

I love carpet chamelions they are so tiny!! When I got my first one, I knew NOTHING and now I teach young children about how to properly care for them! I now own 7, and yes they are SUPER spoiled but loved :). XOXO - Ashlynn

Some animals i would LOVE to have eventually, years from now, are pygmy chameleons, specifically in the Rieppeleon genus since those are so my favorite. I just feel like having pygmys would be so cool. (actually that is an understatement they are like my favorite type of reptile if i had to pick) So I really hope one day by some miracle i can keep a few in a really awesome setup, successfully and give them a good life.

one of my dream pets for a VERY long time, were rats, and i currently have four, who are the best rats i've ever had, but my ABSOLUTE DREAM PET has always been a dog! i hope that when i get a place of my own, i'll be able to get one!
haha i have more than 50 pets:Laughs in neon tetra also i agree when you said only have what animals you can care for i go to shelters for exotic animals all the time and see a ton of big lizards and other reptiles and birds there cause the owner "couldn't afford it"
I can't pick my dream pet but some of them are Dogs: love them all but my favourite breed is Australia Shepherd Cat: either Ragdoll cats or Bsh cats which I'm picking up soon 🤩 Hamster: long haired Syrian Guinea pigs: can't pick a breed Rabbits: lionheads or lionheads lop Geckos : crested Geckos And Mice: Texel As well as pigs and cows These are my favourite types of animals but specifically the first 5
I have a long haired Syrian named Simba, he’s very traditionally golden and I am loving watching him really grow into himself. When we first got him he was sooo shy and jumpy, but nowadays he will even let us just scoop him from the cage without a whole hassle. I love watching him burrow down and he’s so silly! We have a roborovski too who we got first named remington. I really want a ragdoll cat! I may get one in October but I’m keeping my mind open to adoption / waiting until I’m more financially stable. I’ll be going to graduate school to start my masters, and I would really love to have a ragdoll as my best friend - I think it would be really good for me. But of course there are no ragdoll rescues in my area, and college students aren’t known to be financially sound haha

Hey, I was wondering if snake plants are good for sand boa enclosures. I've been hearing a lot of people saying they are toxic to snakes and then a lot of other people saying that it was the perfect plant, definitely a bit confused here.
OMG the same thing that happened to sandwich happened to my water dragon ... the eye drops ended up being the same i use. I could have saved so much money on them

I only have like 18 pets and it takes a lot of work and effort. Also I have multiple fish tanks so that could be something😁

Is it just me or are her leopard geckos like pretty under weight?
They’re a very healthy weight. Unfortunately many, many reptiles in captivity are obese. Unfortunately it’s so bad to the point that most people think that healthy reptiles are under weight. Most reptiles, including leopard geckos are meant to be be lean. They should have some fat stored in their tail, but their bodies should remain lean. Their bodies aren’t well designed to carry fat, so it causes a lot of stress to their internal organs
This video is awesome! I love seeing all the different reptiles you have and learning more about them. My dream animal is some kind of snake- not sure which one as my parents were afraid of them so I knew I wouldn’t be allowed to have one until I moved out, but I adore snakes! I also really loved the leopard geckos you had so I’m kind of wanting one now 😂 Would do a lot of research before getting a reptile though, of course! As for now, I have two cats and I love them both to pieces 🥰

Some animals i would LOVE to have eventually, years from now, are pygmy chameleons, specifically in the Rieppeleon genus since those are so my favorite. I just feel like having pygmys would be so cool. (actually that is an understatement they are like my favorite type of reptile if i had to pick) So I really hope one day by some miracle i can keep a few in a really awesome setup, successfully and give them a good life.
That’s an amazing goal, Pygmy chameleons are incredible, I too would love to own them at some point in the far future!

one of my dream pets for a VERY long time, were rats, and i currently have four, who are the best rats i've ever had, but my ABSOLUTE DREAM PET has always been a dog! i hope that when i get a place of my own, i'll be able to get one!

Hamster: long haired Syrian
Guinea pigs: can't pick a breed
Rabbits: lionheads or lionheads lop
Geckos : crested Geckos
And Mice: Texel
As well as pigs and cows

I have a long haired Syrian named Simba, he’s very traditionally golden and I am loving watching him really grow into himself. When we first got him he was sooo shy and jumpy, but nowadays he will even let us just scoop him from the cage without a whole hassle. I love watching him burrow down and he’s so silly! We have a roborovski too who we got first named remington.
I really want a ragdoll cat! I may get one in October but I’m keeping my mind open to adoption / waiting until I’m more financially stable. I’ll be going to graduate school to start my masters, and I would really love to have a ragdoll as my best friend - I think it would be really good for me. But of course there are no ragdoll rescues in my area, and college students aren’t known to be financially sound haha
