I’ve never had any probs with cotton batting in the microwave & have never heard anyone else say they have. Going to try your method for the carrier soon! Thank you for sharing!!!😊
Nice! Love the star fish design. I made something similar a few decades ago, but I like your idea better. Mine had the loops and handle positioned inside, stitch around, turn, top stitch. I think your method is faster too! TFS.

Watched in UK. Great tutorial.
Awesome! Thank you!
What an awesome idea!
Love the tutorial. Can you use other materials to make casserole carrier. I came across some fabric that not a 100% cotton?
Hi Brenda, you'll just need to make sure the content of the fabric won't melt with hot items. Thank you
I have made plenty of bowl cosies with cotton batting, from a pattern where they use it, and find it's ok to use.
fantastic! thank you
I first saw this carrier on Crafty Gemini. Shabby Fabrics did a video on one like it also.
Love how you teach, new subscriber ❤

What type of a machine do you have there ? It’s beautiful! It’s also a beast !
I have the sailrite fabricator!
I love this pattern. I’m a newby and I’m interested in the presser foot and do you have a material guide on your machine
yes there is a stitch guide and I use the zipper foot or the narrow foot the mot! Thank you!!
Love yr tutorial. Planning to sew a casserole carrier for myself! How should the piece of fleece be placed? Don't want to sew it wrongly! thanks...
Hi, thank you! I used the insulbright and batting, just put them in between the layers, either way is fine.
Thank s for this it really helped!
I'm so glad!
Great idea. ❤. Where did you find magnet scissors
It's really the magnets... most scissors will stick to them. moremeknow.com
thanks ... this is very helpful!
Glad to hear that!
I needed one of these today. What type of machine are you sewing on?
Hi, it's a sailrite fabricator. love it!
Love how when it’s closed that it’s snug so it stays closed. ❤
Thank you, it's a great gift!
Absolutely love this!! I was just wondering though, in the video you said you cut the fabric 23x25. In the description you have 24x24. Does it matter?
It really doesn't matter, the thing to consider is if you want it square or a bit oblong!! Thank you!!
Do u sell that kind of material also and how do I order ur stuff lol I'm knew at this but it looks great !
this fabric is from premierprintsinc.com you can purchase finished products here. jeanniebags.com Thank you
