I find it amazing that the helmets of the Brotherhood resemble the 4th visage and how the vow of silence reflects the visage who saw the truth but was left blind and in darkness for no one to speak to.

I thought the Vow of Silence of the Brotherhood of Silent Sorrows was taken because the Father (except for 3 words) endured his agony in utter silence. Also, Escribar knew someone from the Brotherhood would try to kill him, so he sent his Legion to exterminate the Order. In the comic, Crisanta and the Legion had killed the brothers before Mea Culpa was lifted, so that act couldn't have been the cause for them being purged. Anyway, great video as always and nice spanish pronunciation (it's my native language so I know what I'm saying).

I believe that the miracle was responsible for his resurrection. He was truly killed by Crisanta in their duel.
the high will needs a new figure but not to change the fate of custodia
the wounds of eventide DLC reveal that and penitent one decided to actually end the cycle of penance and reveal that miracle can be also achieved by true self-less and compassion instead of whatever twisted the path of the high will
the first rule we have to applied in this universe that miracle work in different way, power such as the high will can be manifest though pray... it's just that the custodian chose to pray the wrong way
since high wills is manifested from the pray of the custodian itself...the high will is just playing along with them

I made up a sort of back story for the penitent one his name was Carlos and he like the twisted one did something very bad Carlos couldn't save a loved one perhaps a wife or children or both as penance he enlisted in the brotherhood of the silent Sorrow
