My first unexpected and extremely joyful collaboration with @Crimzan4 on one of the favorite UT2004 I'd never remix myself. So Crimzan did the great job with orchestra\synths and I made the drums for the remix.

@@BountyFlamor To me it feels like Unreal has always been able to do orchestral just as well as it can do electronic in a way that no series has really been able to since. That much was apparent in Unreal and Unreal Tournament, even before UT2003/2004.

Some new players may have even joined in on the action in light of this recent fascination going on around Unreal on this site and whatnot, with the server shutdown and delisting news being covered. It definitely helped encourage my curiosity, can't believe I hadn't played Unreal or Unreal Tournament until just after last Christmas, it feels familiar yet nothing like I've ever experienced until this point. There's so much fun to be had and things to like about it. And all of this because I started getting curious about the origins of everything in the Unreal Editor.
It honestly is kind of appalling that the name "Unreal" and it's engine is brought up countless times every single day yet almost nobody seems to be actually aware of where it came from. Anyone who searches up Unreal Engine guides and tutorials has no idea that Unreal was a game in its self, what the Liandri Corporation is, what an Eightball Launcher is, what the Skaarj are, who Prisoner 849 is, or heard of the Vortex Rikers. It's like if people talked about the Source Engine thousands of times a day but had no idea what Half-Life was or anything about it.
I've always loved Hyperblast because it took one of my favorite tracks from UT99 and makes it sound like a track right out of The Matrix. It just works so good!!

Вот только музыка из UT помогла мне после ковида поставить мозги на место, видимо забитые глубоко в подкорку рефлексы заставили прокачивать адреналин по организму и сорвали мозги со стопора. А ремиксы слушаю каждое утро и вечер когда еду в транспорте или иду по улице. Так держать!!! 😺

Life gets busy, content is everywhere, etc etc. Sometimes, their new uploads get recommended to me again and I get treated to one of the best things ever! I used to play Hyperblast on repeat when I played UT2k4 as a kid, so hearing this astonishing remix pleases me in a way nothing else can. The music is unreal. For me as little soviet kid in the year 2000 hearing this type of music was causing mindblowing effect.

The original track from UT2k4 is still one of the best examples of the mix between the original electronic/synth/whatever of original UT and the new orchestral music added with 2k3/2k4. It's honestly one of my favorite kind of genre mixing, with maybe adding some metal in the only way to make it better.
Well, except for this remix, which DAYUM, it hits like a Mack truck.

Ремикс просто шикраный, ты как всегда улучшаешь оригинальные саундтреки до максимального уровня, причём продливая моменты, которые лично мне нравится, к примеру - Into the darkness. Концовка ориг.саундтрека была мега офигенной, но такой короткой, а ты мало того что удлинил эту часть, так ещё и улучшил до неузноваемости. На 2:08 у меня аж мурашки пошли по коже)
В общем, просто обожаю твои работы, спасибо тебе большое!

Great remix. Whenever I think Unreal I feel sad about what Epic has done. Recently we started to organise some weekly matches in classic UT to remember good old days (about 10 ppl party). What brings hope is that there are alternative master servers. Worst part is that games are delisted as if Epic wanted to erase the series.

reminds me of what i had in mind for a game map, for the ship aspect
you know being able to compress map movement for the ships that can warp, vs the ships that can't and having super duper open world maps
but hey well reality check came in, the amount of time to build all of that, prefabs and all, vs something more realistic. :P
