Actually, I have to love every track I remix since it's not working for me to take as a base some uninteresting material %) So I listen every track trying to find it's great sides and the sides I see the potential to enhance a bit )) So it's just logical - I remix the whole UT99 soundtrack so I love every track in it xD But without sugar coating I really like some tracks more than others. My top favorites are Colossus, Firebreath, Foregone, Mech8, Phantom and Three Wheels Turning.
If Epic Games ever decidse to make a Remake of the original UT Tournament, this Track needs to be in there. Its so loyal to the original Run, full of Energy and it sounds awesome. So muich love to this track and this supreme Remake. Kudos to you Necto!

Duuuude... I'm an oldschool FPS gamer (35 atm) and these tracks take me back to my best memories of old UT99! I wish these were included in the new UT game along with remade versions of the old maps. Either way, thanks for your work!

Just modifying the melody ever so slightly and adding more trance'y synth between 2:22 and 2:41 makes such a simple yet powerful change. Especially at the little climax. It's my favorite part, aside from the whole song being amazing.
The background chorus which starts at around 2:04 should have been an exact high-res adaptation of the original, in the organic tone, like how you did for the tunes in Nether Animal... also the bass freq could be a little lower.. other than that no complaints, excellent as usual, and I hit Like.

Reminds me of the first time I played UT in 1999 and this song came on and I was like HOLY COW this is insane! because All I had knowledge of was the original Unreal game, and this was so fast and intense! They don't make games like this anymore. Simple. Now everything is 666FPS hyper animation *cough*COD,VALORANT*many others*Cough I would have sped up the montage of the running in this video. Been an Unreal player for over 10 years now and this stuff takes me back considering UT99 had so many diverse tracks of all varieties. Its actually pretty tough in my mind to remix a track and still manage to keep the soul of the original. To that I say well done, well done indeed. A challenge perhaps, and one I'd love to see how you tackle it, is a remix of Engima, or Seeker.

Bursted out laughing when you started running in NMS, of all things. Personally, I would've joined a MonsterHunt server in UT99, load the LongCorridor2006 map and run there for this clip.

Better than the original, I really like this style of UT99 music. Run and Botpack 9 are the two tracks that I associate with the cities of UT and they are both very fast paced tracks. Also, I would love to hear a remix of Save Me or Razorback, if they're not already in the works. And I'm just going to put it out there; I really like NMS.
Nifty usage of No Man's sky, definitely fits the mood, although the speed they just slightly faster, like 10 or 15% more. GREAT remix, thanks for posting this
HAH! can't belive I didn't know of these remixes until today... just the other day, not even a week ago I was playing no man's sky, while having some UT99 nostalgia and had the UT99 OST playing in the background and commented with a friend on discord exactly this (I can't believe how perfect UT99 OST goes along with NMS) and now I see this :D

A huge chunk of concentrated awesomeness, as usual. I have a few gripes: I personally think the sidechaining of the synth pad from 2:05 to 2:41 is a bit too severe. In the next version I would've preferred if you tone it down a bit, maybe make it vary across different frequencies (possibly using a multiband?). Also here's an idea: Maybe have a variation of the bassline from 1:47 to 2:04 that fits the chord progression come in during this section starting from one of the repeats of that chord progression, to make things more interesting. Here's an example of what I'm talking about: www.mediafire.com/file/lmnpmud5b4am3ym/run_bassline_example.wav (though you could take it in whatever direction you want - for example make it stay mostly on B to sort of pedal point-ish the chords) Those are my personal opinions though, and otherwise I think you did an amazing job.

This particular video took 3 days (nights) to make. One evening for running through the planets, one evening for picking good takes, preparing elements (music, intro, outro images) and one for editing endering.
It'd be great if you could retain more of that "angel choir" overtone from the chords at 2:05, with a longer tail. It sounds nice and trancey now but misses some of that ethereal style. Overall I think your treatment is fantastic and you've made me learn to love UT tracks I hadn't paid much attention to before

I love this remix of Run! One of my most favorite tracks still to this day. I really like that you added an extra 8 measures from the original 16 measures this track had., which makes Run now sound more synth to the sounds of trance 2:04 to 2:40. Haha)) Thank You! As far as I know, it's quite simple to replace tracks in UT2004 (even easier than UT99). Happy to know You like my work although UT2004 has great soundtrack as well O:-)

I love this remix of Run! One of my most favorite tracks still to this day. I really like that you added an extra 8 measures from the original 16 measures this track had., which makes Run now sound more synth to the sounds of trance 2:04 to 2:40. Beautiful work, excellent job and thank you, I enjoy listening to the remix! What was the software you used to make for the remix? FL Studio 12 or was it used for something else?
