Canada is so beauiful, those places are just crazy beautiful, it's a dream to see all of it... I am planning a year long trip.... I hope i'll be able to do the same...
Glad you got your drone back! Miss your mountain biking videos, but whatever you do is worth watching! There are some things I've never seen in BC, and I have travelled extensively through the province. Keep up the good work, Have a great time doing it, and we will see you in the next one!
As a dirtbike rider with half decent experience, I can only describe the feeling of watching this as that of watching a son learn to ride, watching him struggle with the first water crossing then crush the next was surreal, and I’ve never felt something like that before from watching a video
Living large is going faster than the chasing bear. Cougar prefer to walk up behind their prey. The local tribesmen said to put fake eyes to the rear of head-wear. To stop it.
Long time BCPov subscriber. Really enjoyed the direction you were going with the Africa and Morocco trips. I'm really excited and envious for this new channel. It's great to be here from the beginning for what is going to be an epic journey. Wish you the best in your travels!
You're an idiot for going alone seriously. Why are you even video tape and put it on the internet to get views? People are doing the dumbest thing to get views on the internet and it's stupid. I don't understand why
I bought a drone to get shots of places I just can't get to on foot - and now I have to get to those places to get my drone. The plight of man is riddled with confounding backwarditude. Love it! Great video!
Finally came across your bcPOV video way too late yesterday, and now I'm already caught up. I'm only 16 and riding a motorbike around the world has always been a dream of mine, and seeing one of my favorite MTB youtubers doing this makes the dream come a reality and gives me reassurance that I could do it in the future. Thank you for this inspiration and I can't wait to see where this journey takes you next!
Hey Eirc, neither my wife nor I are into motorbikes, but we can't stop watching your adventures, never skipping a second. We're mountain bikers, so we enjoyed your BCPOVs videos, but now with Una Moto we realized it’s your storytelling and adventures that we truly enjoy. Keep it up and enjoy your journey!
Eric I am loving the videos!! I am a long time Itchy Boots viewer, like that you are using the maps. Thank-you for keeping your videos honest, humble & “real”; I am so excited to following along on this journey with you!
Nicely done! I feel like you've really established a story-telling rhythm with this one, and I really enjoyed coming along for the ride. The drone shots were a bonus. Great job recovering it. It was fun watching you think through your choices.
OMG your dedication to recovering that drone was risky as hell but I have to admire it! The footage was definitely sick! God's country, what a beautiful place.
What a place man! As a 30 year dual sport rider and bike tech, I feel like your bike would strongly benefit from a bit lower gearing for this kind of riding. A couple or 3 teeth on the back would probably be perfect and help the slow speed stuff a ton. You can drop one in the front without messing with the chain, but going up two or three on the back is the best way. It won't hurt highway driving a ton as the little 300 doesn't mine the extra rpm. Your clutch will last a ton longer and the low speed technical stuff will be way easier with more rpm. I could be wrong but it sounds like its lugging a ton in the rough stuff. Been loving the series man!! Safe travels!
I have to be honest. I absolutely love these videos. As always, I'm glad you are sharing your story with us. Lastly, your production is amazing. It hits me in the feels every time.
I just love your videos. You just went for it - no experience with bikes, just through the world - gooo. Magical. And oh god those vistas taken with a drone, splendid. It is amazing how tech elevates an everyday normal guy. Just a few decades ago this type of footage was achievable only with high end cameras through helicopters. Awesome.
I have been through the Telkwa Pass in a 4X4 - Gorgeous area! The history of the pass is unique as well - it was surveyed for the railroad as a direct route to Prince Rupert - but it would have bypassed Smither's and Hazelton on the way to Prince Rupert - the route would have saved a good 40 miles, but cut off a lot of communities along the Skeena that had been served by Paddlewheelers back around 1910. The Pass is now a powerline road - and a great ride/drive - a few vanlifers have been through over the summer as well.
Slow roamers have been through! I think the road is actually more used for the pipeline going through (beyond recreational users). The road seems to ignore the power lines much of the time as it's often on the other side of the drainage. www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/industry/mineral-exploration-mining/british-columbia-geological-survey/geology/coalfields/telkwa
I loved you BCPOV race videos from a few years back. But this adventure is EPIC. Love the scenery, love the commentary and the aerial stuff is outstanding.
It’s really quite amazing (and sort of funny) that you can ride down some super gnarly trails on your mountain bike, but a sort of steep gravel road on a motor bike causes you to go super slow. It just shows how truly different the two disciplines are.
good work, i've done some field days up the Copper near the pass and off trail hiking is tough going. really enjoying your adventure, thanks for posting up!
You went right through my sister's ranch in Telkwa, so that's neat. I realize this was probably months ago, but never buy just 1 tube. If you need a tube, you need 3 tubes. And hopefully you have picked up a mini air compressor since this video was filmed.
As an avid mountain biker I enjoyed your MTB videos a lot, but this new channel has sparked an interest I never knew I had. Absolutely loving every minute of it! Hope to do the same some day!
Hey, often its easier to stand up on the bike when passing water and also when the trail gets gnarly. Try to practice and try it. Squeeze your knees around the tank it will help with balance. Great videos and good luck.
Keep going man! Having myself traveled Central America and Mexico 3 times soloed on a KLR 650 and rented an old F650 BMW in Chile and doing the Carretera Austral it's great to see you persevere. Now old and retired in Montana and no longer ride but I am enjoying your travels. Also your perspective is spot on as far as the size of your bike, keeping the bike smaller is a hell of a lot more fun than those giant touring cycles. Stay safe, jl
Now those are some amazing views that very few people have really seen and keep loving your sound design with the music. You know where to place the appropriate music to build up tension and release. Awesome stuff!
Wow, that drone garage has to be some of the most spectacular scenery I’ve ever seen. You’re making me want to learn to ride a motorbike and go do this.
Wow Eric is impressing me every day with his bike skills specially in the water To most novice bikes that would be very unnerving considering his lack of experience he rode through it like a boss As this was the 13th episode something was bound to happen to that drone 😂😂
Just found your channel. The incredibly beautiful drone footage brought me to tears. You are such an inspiration. Safe travels and wishing you the very best on your journey.
Definitely awesome drone footage. I’ve had a few crashes myself, always getting the drone back safely. It takes lots of practice to get shots like you have. Following the journey. 👍
I am Turkish from Germany. Thanks for the great shots. Wish you all the best on your tour of the world. Hope to see you soon with your motorcycle in my country in Turkey.
Just discovered your channel. Totally amazing day! As a fellow travel blogger, I really appreciate your perspective as a "regular guy" motorcyclist of modest yet sufficient skills, coupled with big heart and determination, adventuring places that keep your adrenaline pumping. Just subscribed and excited for more!
These trails are just like in Florida during the wet season. 🙂👍 You did a pretty good job in crossing them. The strick is to get some speed/momentum and don't stop!
My favorite episode of this new series so far. I can tell you're still a bit nervous on the bike but keep pushing nevertheless. Respect. And those drone shots were stunning. One day I shall visit northern BC. Safe travels ✌️
Les choses sérieuses commencent génial continuez comme cela 👍vivement la suite, grand ✌️de la Haute Savoie en France et où vous serez le bienvenu si vous passez dans la région !!!
Have an amazing voyage, your lack of bike proficiency is a concern, however I was so relieved to see you “stop”, get off and check before you did something you thought could be difficult for you. Keep doing that buddy and you will become an amazing rider and enjoy a safe journey! I am so going to subscribe!
It's awesome to see how you are progressing with the trip from day to day. I really liked the MTB videos (that's why we started to ride with my wife too), but life needs to going on, and cool to see you found another hobby. Cheers from Austria!
Epic Brother! Keep going man! Use that clutch more, never stall!! Lol. You are doing so well with the adventure spirit, so awesome to watch, cannot wait for more. Note: I had a DRZ 400 once, was just like your bike (gearing wise), quite tall and innapropriate for off-roading.... if you are ok with a lower top speed / higher RPM @ top speed, consider a smaller final drive gear. It makes a massive difference to off-road power tractability. Easy swap for huge difference in feeling of the bike on slow stuff.
Love the journey. Haven’t finished the whole vid yet, so might need to retract my statement. But my initial thoughts are: you need to develop confidence with carrying more speed into obstacles. A lower gear, more revs, ride the clutch to maintain drive between torque and power. And stand up! Lots more standing up!! It will all come in time as you gain experience and confidence, and you’ve already improved. No doubt these video’s were from the past but focusing on the above will expedite your learning and increase your enjoyment 10 fold 👍
Really it's going to be an exciting journey with you Eric. Some of the time was lost in the drone episode but we enjoyed the unscheduled hoke in the woods!
Great ! Can genuinely see your offroad progression, and enjoying the amazing drone footage. Was wondering when the first drone crash would happen ! The Telkwa pass was a terrific choice.
There are some people who were just not meant to own a drone. :) But seriously, those drone shots are breath taking. I was rooting for you as you goosed it through those puddles. Stay safe.
I was just typing out how I was impressed with how you did on this route... and then you crashed the drone into a tree on the other side of the lake :D. I am so into these episodes, keep em coming!
I really like your "drive" trough this episode!! The vue at the campsite was absolutely stunning😮 lucky you finding the drone.... search and you will find 🤟😅
Great video. Thank you p.s. it is allowed to walk across water crossings to check for that one boulder that is front wheel magnet and also carry your fragile gear while checking.
Ride it more like a mtb bike down hill. It's pretty similar. Back brakes for direction front brakes to wipe off speed. Balance and control. You've got this. :)
Happy ending to a great video. Ive crashed and lost the same drone in water and I was only feet away from it the it went down. Great video and cant wait for the next!
Interesting that rock filled water crossings you keep up your speed and navigate the rocks easily. However, when dry rocky sections are met, you go extremely slow and find it more difficult to ride. I would have thought that would have registered to you and you might try to be a bit more aggressive when riding dry rocky sections. Impressed by your determination given the limited off-road experience you seem to have. Good on 'ya for getting out there and doing it!
Another very stunming video. BC its that nice like I thought. You improve your riding skills every day. Take care and stay safe. I wish you merry christmas and best of luck for your upcoming journey.
Next video out on Thursday! And then on Saturday and then on Tuesday and then on Thursday... 3 videos a week for December! Happy holidays!
SO NICE! Thanks, Eric!
When do you expect to be in New Zealand? At the pace you're going, going to take you 10 years hahaha :) Great job man your video are really cool!
Canada is so beauiful, those places are just crazy beautiful, it's a dream to see all of it... I am planning a year long trip.... I hope i'll be able to do the same...

The Tanzania experience and the video that resulted had such a huge impact on me. A big reason I started this channel.
😂
What model drone do u recommend ?
Thx😊
Backwarditude….may I adopt this word? 😂
You need a drone recovery drone to recover your drones.
I just love your persistence dude. There are better riders but your persistence gets you to places most riders don't go..Its awesome and inspiring
Finally came across your bcPOV video way too late yesterday, and now I'm already caught up. Do what you can to do it!
What a view from that lake, well worth the sweat and adrenaline brother the best part was the drone hunting, thanx 4 sharing. Excellent vid.👍❤
I used to ride a Harley yrs ago, all I can say is you have more balls than I ever did😀, stay safe out there Eric...
Thanks Ben, glad you guys enjoy them!
I have to say you really have balls. Such small experience and you still go for it. I will watch you to see how you go. Dont break anything!

Spot on with gearing. 2t more on the rear, and then carry 2 front sprockets to alter gearing for road v trail.
I have to be honest. I absolutely love these videos. As always, I'm glad you are sharing your story with us. Lastly, your production is amazing. It hits me in the feels every time.

That gas station attendant looked like an undercover Jackson Goldstone.
And the gas station has an awesome 1980s vibe to it!

I was happy to see you kept some momentum when riding through these puddles. Great episode with the hike to save the drone.
You are doing remarkably well for a new rider ,i can see your improvement, in your clutch and throttle control ,over the ladt few episodes.
As an avid mountain biker I enjoyed your MTB videos a lot, but this new channel has sparked an interest I never knew I had. Absolutely loving every minute of it! Hope to do the same some day!

Excellant !!! "Finding the Drone" was very interesting and it paid you well to find the drone in working condition after a severe crash.
Just found your channel. The incredibly beautiful drone footage brought me to tears. You are such an inspiration. Safe travels and wishing you the very best on your journey.
Once again amazing adventure Eric. 🎊 So glad you got your drone back. Amazing footage.

Keep up the great work Eric!
This is a fantastic adventure. You are very good at motorcycling and a good journalist. Thank you, I will follow your adventure.
Epic footage Eric. I look forward to seeing the next. Happy, Safe travels always.🌿

Great video! I can see that you're a good person, good natured. Thanks for the adventure.
I know we aren't following you live but you're killing me here! Keep your momentum and RPM up! 😅
hahaha I am yelling it.... KEEP THE REVS UP. Then I remember this is months ago.
Gooood job with finding that drone... Do not get out of luck! Watching you...
Wow, this is a real adventure. I respect you and can't wait for the next part.
Loving the videos so far! Could you consider showing the date in each video? It would add some good context as your journey progresses

Awesome production, loving the Journey. Sometimes ya just have to lick the stamp and sent it 😎
Incredible location, so glad you were able to recover your drone.

Удача на твоей стороне! Продолжай свой путь,вперёд!))...
This series is riveting! What an adventure, great job Eric! ❤
What a privilege to see something so beautiful, and so few get to experience in person.
European rider here - loved the drone recovery scene and what it brought to the viewers! Best of luck!
Really it's going to be an exciting journey with you Eric. Some of the time was lost in the drone episode but we enjoyed the unscheduled hoke in the woods!
If you’re not living on the edge; you’re taking up too much space. Well done, young man!
Great ! Can genuinely see your offroad progression, and enjoying the amazing drone footage. Was wondering when the first drone crash would happen ! The Telkwa pass was a terrific choice.
Just found your channel and it's great mate . New subscriber here in the UK . Safe travels 🙏
Thanks for going to get the drone, that footage was epic! 😮
I really enjoy your adventures, and your becoming my hero. Keep up the good work and stay safe
Great job on the rocky decent! It is so cool to see you get better and better! GOD bless and thanks for the incredible episode.
There are some people who were just not meant to own a drone. :) But seriously, those drone shots are breath taking. I was rooting for you as you goosed it through those puddles. Stay safe.
Thank you! Thank you so much for taking us on that beautiful trail!
Very glad you found the drone unbelievable video. I enjoy your ride so much God bless
I was just typing out how I was impressed with how you did on this route... and then you crashed the drone into a tree on the other side of the lake :D. I am so into these episodes, keep em coming!

Crashing the drone may have been bad for you but it made for excellent footage, and I loved the music that went with that sequence.
Excellent work Eric!
Happy ending to a great video. Ive crashed and lost the same drone in water and I was only feet away from it the it went down. Great video and cant wait for the next!
Good luck my friend. I wish You a save ride. Best regards from the north of Germany👍👍
thanks for sharing the adventure and amazing footage with us. all the best, be safe!
Amazing drone footage!!! All the best from Calgary!
I swear to God… 🙏🏻 I had a choice between watching you or Itchy Boots tonight and I chose you! GREAT videos Eric! 👏🏻👏🏻
Ooooh 😅 thanks 🙂
Nice ride! Glad you got your drone back!
Thanks for putting all the effort in to get your drown back lol. That was epic footage!
Amazing you got the drone back. 😀
Really great adventure man, Enjoyed watching, thanks :)
The maker of that drone needs to be sponsoring your videos. What a little beast.
" Now this is an adventure ride". That got me laughing. Good on ya. Enjoying this, and really like your music choices. Onward!
Hey Eric, loving your new channel! That drive definitely didn't look easy. As a tip, I think you gotta focus on learning to drive standing up!
Enjoying watching you learn as you go and awesome scenery
Interesting that rock filled water crossings you keep up your speed and navigate the rocks easily. However, when dry rocky sections are met, you go extremely slow and find it more difficult to ride. I would have thought that would have registered to you and you might try to be a bit more aggressive when riding dry rocky sections. Impressed by your determination given the limited off-road experience you seem to have. Good on 'ya for getting out there and doing it!
Epic awesome adventure. Really enjoying this and looking forward to your next release.
Another very stunming video. BC its that nice like I thought. You improve your riding skills every day. Take care and stay safe. I wish you merry christmas and best of luck for your upcoming journey.
Since your videos on BcPov I love your selection on soundtracks, congrats on the new series!
The drone hunt was amazing. Your perseverance made you "lucky".
Wow, breath taking scenery! Good on ya
