Great video sir - one thing to note is to always use a torque wrench by holding the grip area at the end. If your hand is not there it will give you a different resultant torque. ❤
Great vid. Did 10 n 12 mm spacers change the ride quality and or driving dynamic of the car at all? Thanks. I’m thinking of putting 10mm in front and 12.5mm in back of my Ftype but afraid they might effect ride. Thank you
Well there will be rubbing if you are going fast into corner on not so smooth road. And then when you turn at the same time, probably will catch inner arch lip.
Hey I really dig your channel. I have a 2012 E63 and am looking at the best set up for fitment with the OEM wheels before purchasing new wheels (20s). I was going to get the 10mm all around, but am curious how yours rides with the 12.5mm and 10mm. I am considering lowering as well, but heard some complain about ride quality. Any insight you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Glad you like the channel! I spent a lot of time researching fitments. I saw people on forums use from 10 - 20mm, so I really didn't know which way to go. I came across the wheel spacer kit (ruclips.net/video/xRwgn4etzcg/видео.html) and this helped me to figure out my perfect fitment. The 12.5mm and 10mm is working great so far. I don't know if it was just in my head, but it did feel "different" at first, but it's cool now. Car is great lowered - ruclips.net/video/bWeEDZ44Q_c/видео.html
@@DriveTalkCars Hi Bro, I am having some issues with the H&R spacers fitting over the front hub. When I called ECS they stated their 12.5mm is not for front. It didn't seem like you had any issues with your ECS spacers fitting. I am assuming the hubs should be the same size on both 2010 and 2012 models
I need help, i have a 2002 e320 with amg monoblock ll wheels. Im trying to see where i can get some 12mm hub centric spacers to fit in the front. The grease cap is making it hard to find the correct one
Love you video man! Rodney from Australia Down Under! You are very concise, clear and easy to understand and follow. Amazing video. I also have the same problem with the rear OEM wheel not fitting the standard Mercedes 66.6mm Hub Centric Hole size on the spacers I purchased off EBay that look almost exactly the same as the ones in your video. They too were too tight to fit! 😩👍
Thanks for your comment. That is a great tip. However, I didn't use a torque wrench to loosen the bolts. It is an expandable breaker bar. I do see how it resembles a torque wrench though 😀👍.
Only one thing. No point having a torque wrench if you don't use it properly. If you hold it forward of the correct point on the handle you're not applying the correct torque.
@6:10 I use them spacers on the civic with coupe twenty06 model, and having amg wheels isn't the issues. You were lied to. And your iffing it to others.. as if it's the wheels. And not the person that doesn't know anything , this happens increasingly everywhere from burger flipping to alignments to banks and schools. Just thought I let others know it isn't the AMG wheels. I use them on the coupe Civic . Yes I run 5*114 on 5*114.3 with a car hub size 64.1 and centric rings to fit these wheels 66.6 and I run the spacers. Those are not the right spacers. Period . Like how all the car parts are that we all buy at first.

Hello, after performing this process it is recommended to align the tires for greater safety

I was just talking about getting spacers and I have amg wheels. Thank you for this video and the knowledge.
Glad I could help! Thanks for leaving comment
I always use H&R for my Mercs 👌👍🏼..nice video 👌
Awesome videos as always. Could you make a video on brake pads and rotors whenever you get the chance or when you are due?
Yes I can! I am almost due for that service 👍
@@DriveTalkCars second that one! def appreciate the vids! anytime something comes up on my e63 you always seem to have taken care of it!
What set up do u have on the wheels bro? You running stock 18's or 19's... whats the rim width? Staggered or square set up?
Hello, I have the long centric hub on the front, so you didn’t face problems with the fitting in the front with the amg rims ?
I didn't have any issues in the front.
Super underrated channel.
I appreciate that! 🙏🏽
Great editing!!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Great vid. Just ordered for my e350 coupe. Hope the rears work but your vid lets me know how to handle if not! Cheers brother)
That’s awesome! Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
Don't forget to clean the hubs and rims from rust.
Thank you so much for explaining in detail!!!
Glad it help!
why is it smaller for the back?
Well there will be rubbing if you are going fast into corner on not so smooth road. And then when you turn at the same time, probably will catch inner arch lip.
It wasn’t too bad for me. It did rub over a good size bump or dip in the road. But under normal conditions it was good.

What is the reason/ need to fit spacers ,
Spacers allow for your wheels to sit more flush with the fenders.
Did you redo your alignment after you installing spacers ?
Yea I’d like to know as well especially after a year of riding on them. Pls provide update comment or video!
Yes, I did an alignment
Please can you help me for w221 4matic models, it's possible, installation.?????
Are the H&R spacers in your description the correct for the rear ?
Yes, that is what I ordered.
Those are nice rims. Is there a model number for the rims? I would like to put those in my C-class
Thanks!…they are the original AMG 19” wheels. I’m not sure of model number.
Fire look.
Thanks bro!
Do you have any options for Ghibli?😊
I never needed them on Ghibli since I replaced the factory wheels with aftermarket. The offset was perfect!
For cls w219 i can 20mm? or 25mm for back spacer
So you put 10mm in the rear and 12.5 in the front?
That's correct
why didn't you put the bigger spacer in the rear instead of the front?
Front needed more spacing to be flush with fender than the rear. Also, front has a narrower size wheel/tire than the rear. 255 front 285 rear

Mine only has 5 holes is that ok ?
Will the 10mm work for both the back and the front?
For the results I wanted, 10mm didn’t work for both front and rear. But you definitely can use 10mm for front and rear.
Nice. Like it 👍🏼
Appreciate it! 🙏🏽

Thank you for the comment! I appreciate it! Yeah, it was weird how off the rear spacers were. 🤷🏽♂️
Curious why thinner in the rear then front? Why not same all around or wider in rear? Thanks :)
Rear wheels are wider
@@legend7074 ahhhhhh thanks, makes sense
What wheel locks can be used with the spacers?
Did you notice a difference in the ride?
No, didn’t notice a thing different with the ride from the spacers. Well…maybe the handling improved a bit
Never use Torque Wrench to loose the bolts.
Thanks for your comment. That is a great tip. However, I didn't use a torque wrench to loosen the bolts. It is an expandable breaker bar. I do see how it resembles a torque wrench though 😀👍.
Hey bro does you’re car rub with 12.5’s in the front?
No, I don't have any rubbing and have lowering springs in the front (about .75" drop).
Ho bro can you tell me name or model for rims i have silver cls 350 i need them
They are the OEM 19” AMG wheels. I’m not sure if the model number.
Is your car lowered?
Yes, it is. Used lowering springs in front and links in rear.
Only one thing. No point having a torque wrench if you don't use it properly.
If you hold it forward of the correct point on the handle you're not applying the correct torque.
how do i know what size spacer i need?
i got the MB 2011 E350
I have 2008 cl 550
On 20 in aftermarket rims
What does it mean when ur car rubs
The tire is rubbing (or touching) the inside of the fender. It shouldn't touch anything.
What are the part numbers for the two different 10 mm spacers?
Part# 2055665SW. You can find all the info on the part and tools used in the description of the video. 👍
So wider in the front?
Yep 👍🏽
@@DriveTalkCars nice work sir
Appreciate it!

Those American bumpers (fenders) look so trash
