- We met up with Brian Smith at EuroKracy, Montreal (Instagram - @funwithfrozie). He has an awesome MK7 GTI that he is slowly turning into a racecar. We went over what he has done with the car and talked about his previous involvement with Hoonigan's. He also explains how he started and why he wants to be a racecar driver!

Met Brian 2 years ago, was also my first time at eurokracy, i made a call to get a few mk7 together and he answered. Been keeping contact with him since then and he's just an amazing guy and great friend! Keep the good work youll get in that TCR.

I had the same experience. test drove a SE2017 GTI and just had to have it. Bought it a week later.
Its so coool how nonchalantly he bought this car and then slowly turned this into the most hardcore GTI in like a 200 mile radius.
Now my GTI MK7.5 was by ABT and now, he has 300PS/420NM 😉
I love it every day to drive 😎😇

Really cool dude, would like to see him in a TCR car. The Michelin Pilot Challenge for IMSA is the place to be. TCR racing with GT4 cars, etc.

@@EasthoodRacing I haven't made up my mind on what I'm going to do to it other than H & R lowering springs, lightweight rims and the basic mods to make the turbo louder.

I have 2010 vw cc 2.0t and trunk light not working. Tried to put new led bulb now inside car lights quit working .can you give me any suggestions. Thank you.do you have diagram of fuses.

How do you like MSS? I have a set. Wondering how it’s on the track? Stock shocks alright? DCC Shocks? How many miles are on your shocks?
I fear bec dcc shocks are very expensive
I think the MSS system is quite capable for DD and trackduty. Stock shocks and mine does not have DCC. If you do have DCC its a fantastic addition. The car is at 52k on oem dampners. We will be updating the suspension this year. To what whoooooo knows! -Brian

What benefit do you get from taking the mat off that is underneath the hood of the car? I was thinking about taking mine off but I was worried that maybe the heat would make the paint on top peel fast or something like that
Lee Smith then you can put decals there.
@leesmith so I took off the hood mostly for sound! You can hear everything much better. You can also add stickers! Heats not an issue!

@@smitherzz001 There ya go. Having a non-stock intake and removing that weatherstrip right at the back of the cowling makes a big difference in sound levels.

smaller is20 housing for better spool. tpc is20 makes good power and isnt laggy.
What Diggs said and we wanted something that we could truly beat on and the TPC delivered handily

Its not even a fair comparison. What companies like TPC are doing are game changers. This unit spools fasters and delivers faster than your standard Is38. Reliability is not a concern either with the TPC unit. You can see some of our new videos for some laps! -Brian

Sick car, and I love GTIs, but tbh it is incredible how much worse the TSI sounds compared to the 2.0T FSI lol.
Ah that can be fixed with some clever pipe bending!
@@EasthoodRacing true. I've noticed that for whatever reason the TSI seems to sound a lot different depending on exhaust setup. some sound buzzy like a d series with a fart can, but then others sound deeper similar to the FSI. It's weird because on the FSI all the exhaust setups i've heard sound almost identical just different amounts of noise level.

Whats the point of rear wing if the car is front wheel drive?

Are you serious with that question?
@miro So the wing on car will function on any car. Drivetrain doesn't matter. Essentially the wing is helping the rear of the car stay planted and cut through the air. I also have a front splitter that also increases downforce of the car. my car will oversteer if pushedto the limits. In actuality the wing makes the biggest difference under braking. The reward pressure allows the car to stay stable under braking with release into the corner. Check out TCR or WTCR cars! Aero is Aero!

It's functional, not just for looks. Believe it or not, Even the the stock factory wing is functional.
