Dont often comment on videos but just wanted to say I could sit and listen to Marvins stories all the time, they’re so interesting and the way he portrays himself is just so calm and straight to the point, what a guy! Truly inspiring, from the crime, time spent in pen, violence to now; wow.
The moment When Marvin realised he was on his own when he woke up in hospital and his boys were nowhere to be seen. That hurt him so bad. Marvin has a heart of gold if you was in his circle. I think Marvin’s problem was to think everyone loved him like he loved them. Glad he doing well now ❤️
What he said at 1:44 till the end is the best thing I have ever heard. What a guy. Hit the nail on the head. "NO YOU DON'T HAVE ANXIETY, YOU HAVE A BAD DIET AND YOU DONT EXCERSISE. YOUR BODY IS SCREAMING FOR NUTRIENTS" so true
Watched both of these interviews today James and can I just say, these are probably the best interviews I've ever heard with anyone. I'm a recovering former heroin and crack addict myself and I managed 8 years addicted in Blackpool without ever getting arrested somehow. I had a few close calls and got strip searched a few times and I knew it would happen sooner or later though, it was the only thing that scared me. Hearing Marv speak about all the violence and mayhem of that lifestyle is all I need to know that I'm not cut out for that life and that staying clean (nearly 3 years now) is just something infinitely more fulfilling. Sometimes I miss the excitement, and he does a great job of capturing that feeling, but of also revealing just how boring it is to always do that same shit day in day out and never progress as a person. Marv speaks with so much expression and you can really see him re-living every moment and you live it with him. He's got such a fantastic blend of charisma, intelligence and just pure energy. Thanks for being such an inspiration Marv, and thanks for being such a great interviewer James! Much love!

Another deadly episode! Painfully honest and refreshing to see Mr Herbert have accountability for his actions and past behaviour. Feel like it’s pure and promising when you see someone allow their ego to acknowledge their past and learn by it. Shows real growth imo
Easy to look beyond Marvin's past when you listen to him speak so passionately about the positive changes he has made and you can tell he genuinely regrets things he's done. He pauses to think about everything he is going to say before he says it, not like someone who is just desperately trying to make themselves look something that they're not. There is something about Marvin that makes you want to listen to him and take things on board. This along with part 1 is Deffo in my top 3 Anything Goes episodes. Well done all involved

Another deadly episode! Painfully honest and refreshing to see Mr Herbert have accountability for his actions and past behaviour. Feel like it’s pure and promising when you see someone allow their ego to acknowledge their past and learn by it. Shows real growth imo

Easy to look beyond Marvin's past when you listen to him speak so passionately about the positive changes he has made and you can tell he genuinely regrets things he's done. He pauses to think about everything he is going to say before he says it, not like someone who is just desperately trying to make themselves look something that they're not. There is something about Marvin that makes you want to listen to him and take things on board. This along with part 1 is Deffo in my top 3 Anything Goes episodes. Well done all involved
