I recently bought a Samsung double oven. A feature I really like is that there is still a storage drawer, and the lower oven sits a bit higher than the ones that are 2 separate ovens. Yes, some heat does transfer to the other oven cavity, but not a lot. I've found that the inside of the unused oven is warm, but I can touch it. I think the flexibility of being able to choose your oven size is wonderful.
we have the KDRS505XSS stove, after a few years the gas valves started giving problems with locking up....replacements are over 100.00 each. So after 9 years we have had to replace 5...so that 500.00 in parts in 9 years......my suggestion is buy something else.
There's no real advantage to the Samsung except to put huge items (bigger than you ever need) in. But when you use the top... You put the bottom out of commission. What if you wanted to use both separately? That's a thumbs down.
I have this stove and you can definitely use both separately. You just don't have a second door, so to get the bottom dish out you have to open the whole thing. I am not sure where you came to the conclusion you put the bottom out of commission.
I had an old American oven I bought for $400 had it about 18 years never gave me a problem cook very well, I bought a Samsung because I did not want to waste heating up such a big space in the oven, so I bout the Samsung double oven,...big mistake, should have kept the old oven, right after the warranty expired about 12 months I had to replace all the knobs because they were broken or cracking, the oven dose not cook very well compared to my old cheap oven I would not but a Samsung oven again, just bought a washer, made it a Maytag after seeing a chrome agitator in a LG, I said hell no I don't want bling I want it to work great.
@randomrazr what ever you buy don't go for the bling or high price, go for the quality so research it, a lot of time the sales man wants to make his commission on the thing he sales, or really doesn't know about it. I bought a lap top at Costco, and a sales person told me he looks for how well the laptop opens. Lol he gave bad advice. I build my desktop computers, so I know what to look for, look at the reviews of the product it helps.

Thank You but I wanted a Kind of a thorough comparison between the two ranges I’m sure there’s more differences than that
I wish we could get a above the cooking surface oven like in the 60’s it’ easier to get hot things at that level than off the floor.
I was surprised they still don't make them. I was looking for one.

Tomato potato? Last I checked, those were two different items. What is he trying to say?
Lol! That boy DUUUUUUUUMB.
It's a joke on "tomayto tomahto", I've heard it elsewhere. It's self deprecating humor
I live in Lake City Mathis Texas where is the closest store to me.
Double oven upper oven thermostat replacement
That was jibber jabber!
Reminded me of Dr. BRUEL
Just how many time can you squeeze "OK" in to 2 minutes? About 100?

I have this range. The 2 ovens, each can be used at the same time different functions & temperature controlled separately.
1. Rewatch the video
2. Listen carefully
i know! What is the point of a double oven where you cannot use the second oven at the same time. Kitchenaid for the win

@@DKLGalactus5 so what brand for induction would u advise?
Why would compare a quality product (kitchenaid) to 💩 (samsung)?
Does Keith wear boxers or briefs?
Don’t buy Samsung. They break the first year and bad service from Samsung. Very costly by my own experience
You wear shorts to work? Slob.
He prefers Samsung to get rid of the product to its viewers. It’s an ok tactic...
This Samsung product 👎🏻
Ouh.... that will be a NO to the Samsung model.....
Poor explanation
MmmmKay.
