I have this exact plane. I do not use rudder mix either. It is a very easy flyer, I should know as I am a poor flyer and don’t fly often enough. Everyone loves the lights and it does look very scale. Applying power makes it want to climb abruptly so you have be smooth on the stick. I love your other videos on snow and water with this plane, I save them as my favorites. So far I have only flown mine off the grass. Keep up the good work, Salute!

I just picked up this plane for $200 including a UMX Beast by Horizon Hobbys. The one I have id been very detailed by the owner. Mine came with a spare engine cowl and extra tail feather. It is a beautiful plane!
I have the same Beaver that a guy crashed he gave it to me for free.. I glued it back together, the electric motor was trashed, I happened to have a old OS .25 sitting around, I converted it over to nitro. It's a awesome plane 🙂

Great looking and flying scale plane. Too bad that you have to access the battery compartment on the bottom. I love the nav lights, awesome! The sound of the propellor when you were filming in front of the plane was like a real one. A great, great video again. Can’t wait for the water takeoffs and landings with the floats . Thanks👍

Thanks Joshua. I've flown my Apprentice 6or 7 times , and have done okay with it. Hopping the Beaver will be almost as easy. It doesn't have the SAFE technology , but looks pretty stable.
Lawrence Smeen. Nice! I was actually worried you were beginner beginner. Yeah, just as long as you can fly the apprentice without safe this bird looks good. And by fly, you know, that is take off and land also. There is a big difference between the planes in that the beaver is a tail dragger. I would r3commend watching the Motion RC pilot on similar planes and really listening to little things on planes like this such as let it drive, on its main wheels.
9:40 and 15:40 You will notice Captain Blaz takes off and lands with two wheels. That was a mistake I made as I did not do that on my first flights of tail draggers. I would also recommend doing the same as he did which is not use flaps. Thry will get you in the air quick but then you could stall. So keep your speed the same way to avoid the stall takeoff flight and landing.

Capt. Blaz add some more Rudder to that mix, it might have not been enough to make a noticeable difference. But be sure to turn it off before you land, it will mess you up on landing. I have one plane that needs the rudder mix because the wing has 0 dihedral.

Capt. Blaz add some more Rudder to that mix, it might have not been enough to make a noticeable difference. But be sure to turn it off before you land, it will mess you up on landing. I have one plane that needs the rudder mix because the wing has 0 dihedral.
