It could also be equipped with skis for flights up north in the winter when often your runway was a frozen lake covered with snow. Nice flying once again and great photography. Now I understand what a tip-stall is. It looks like the aircraft doesn't have enough speed in a climb while turning at the same time, and it simply falls over and doesn't have enough height to recover. It might be interesting to experiment to make it tip-stall on purpose at a high altitude to see how far it falls in order to come out of it. Anyway, thanks again for a great video, and of course, Happy Flying

Thanks pilot Robert and captain Blaz , nice bird but tip stalls so easy . The original props are very weak and break so easy. Mine is sitting in the room ,heard is hard to fly. Thanks guys ,great fun to watch.
OH YEA ,great maiden flight Capt.Robert.The plane flew very stable and smooth. The second flight ,like Capt.Blaz said, was too quick before lift off. Nice flight guy. Definitely a beautiful plane. Like "Steve one" I too was getting like subliminal single frame interruptions in the playback. Thought for a minute it was something Blaz was trying to slip in there.....lol. All in all a great video. That thing really does fly nice.
Rushing a take off to avoid pedestrians. Too little takeoff speed resulting in tip stall. You have demonstrated that perfectly so we all can learn that important lesson. Loved the splat flips.

Pilot Robert that C-47 looked perfect in the air and Captain Blaz you have done a great job of filming once again. Looking forward to the next flight of this beautiful bird big Salute to you both from Australia.
The C-47 is the military version. As a boy my first flight on a plane was on the civilian DC-3. It flew from Salt Lake City to Phoenix and passed over the Grand Canyon. It was a very enjoyable flight. Thanks for bringing back such fond memories.
Robert. You are an amazing pilot. On your first flight you showed us how to do the right way slow and easy and you pleased her for the whole five minutes and then you missed the landing strip awwww Damm she said. I have battery left big boy. Do it again and redeem yourself. So like the eager Guy you are you jump right in there and go wide open creating the premature situation and crash landing leaving her lying there broken and disappointed once again. Glad to see I'm not the only one who has this problem. At least the subliminal pictures of you weren't of you naked. LOL. A BIG SALUTE TO YOU FROM SEDRO WOOLLEY WA 😎 ✌️
What a brilliant video: Loads of laughs, a pedestrian convention, a lesson on rotating too early giving tip stalls, a lesson on why we never have "just one more flight", spooky one frame Roberts popping up about 15 times (camera SD card?), admissions on bedroom performance, Robert being photographed ... where else can you find all this on RUclips? NOWHERE 🤣
Dont feel bad Robert !!! ...that's just normal for dc-3... Great Flight ....motors/props sound a little off..Blaz did a great job with new cam much better now !! Just have fun and screw it !!! PS- the most important servo is the elevator make sure it is 110% ok
Ah man, that was a beautiful approach - and then the grass! She looked very scale though, nice job gents. Oh No then I just saw the second attempt! Hope its all ok! A lot of torque on those two props on the same direction. The first take off was spot on! I have to say though I always fly more - I work out how many Mah per circuit and fly right down to 20%! I love to be in the aaaaiiiiiiirrr as long as possible!
That is a beautiful plane, it was a work horse of a plane, and I think there are some still flying!! Thanks for pointing out those od green rims Captain Blaz👍👍 Don't hit the pedestrian, he will dive onto the grass, lmao Captain Blaz, he just wants to watch you fly😂😹😂👍👊. That approach was looking so good, until that pesky grass got in the way lol🙀. I'm glad the second flight wasn't fatal, she will fly again 🚀
LOVE your channel too. FWIW... We never say "One more time"..... for all the obvious reasons. And Your Left Thumb needs to be utilized more to keep the fuselage moving/accellerating straight down the runway. You let the nose Yaw right, leaving the Right wing somewhat stalled as you Leaped off the ground.... Try to maintain runway heading until the plane has accelerated to take off speed.... You got lucky this time Capn Robert... BTW, the plane looks great in the air! Have fun! Weav
Another great flight, Capt Robert. But, Capt Blaz is right, you need a wider runway. And all the pedestrians come to watch you fly. You should be proud.
Nice propellers Robert. They look like the real Hamilton Standard propellers on the DC-3, or C47. Yes Capt. Blaz, I think those guys going by on the runway have a grass stash somewhere. Anyway Robert you did your best. Next time it will all go better! Thanks to you both!!
Great video 👍 looks fabulous in the air. She does look very sensitive on the controls, maybe when I maiden I will go with a forward CofG. Thanks for showing your setup, your right about the flap setup way to much. Hopefully my maiden will be some time this week.
Robert Petrinčič Salute pilot Robert 👨✈️. Today was the day for the maiden 👍🛫 I can report all went well, using a 3300 pack which is bigger (heavier and more forward CofG) than I intended we flew for just for just short of 7 min’s using just 40% of the pack. I found that it needs some rudder in the turns or you can make nice turns with just rudder. She doesn’t need big control movements so you’re rates were a good starting point. Didn’t use the flaps for landing as needed more trimming, but she landed well without them just back off the power and let it settle in. Pilot 👨✈️ Roy signing off.

Nice flight, fun video 😀
Thanks my friend.
"Don't say something or he will stop" lol. Great plane great flight
Yeah, can you imagine that my friend ;-)
Ah man, that was a beautiful approach - and then the grass! She looked very scale though, nice job gents. Oh No then I just saw the second attempt! Hope its all ok! A lot of torque on those two props on the same direction. The first take off was spot on!
I have to say though I always fly more - I work out how many Mah per circuit and fly right down to 20%! I love to be in the aaaaiiiiiiirrr as long as possible!
Pilot Robert, what the hell it was a good maiden flight.Next time will be better.0h Yeah.!!!!!!
It's just like with Alpine skiing accidents - for some reason the last pass you make is usually where the accident occurs. :)
But really my friend. Never again just one more ;-)
Yesssss, what can be better than this video on Sunday evening? Nothing hey!
Have fun my friend.
Very nice Video Robert, thumb up nice flight.
Thanks my friend for all support.
YOU COULDN'T GET A CIGARETTE PAPER BETWEEN THE PROPS AND THE FUSELAGE 😆
I just love the gear nice fat tyres!! Good luck boys
I watch maiden now!!!👍👍
Just 3 meters from glory!!
Salute!
So close this time ;-)
No damage we can’t fix! Just an unexpected arrival...
You guys should start a "Flight Club" lol!!! Would have been a sexy landing on the road.
Maybe we will my friend ;-) I was really hoping for perfect landing and it would have been if I havent missed it ;-)
Great video 👍 looks fabulous in the air.
She does look very sensitive on the controls, maybe when I maiden I will go with a forward CofG. Thanks for showing your setup, your right about the flap setup way to much. Hopefully my maiden will be some time this week.
Good luck on your maiden my friend. Maybe a CG even little more to the front would be good.
Pilot 👨✈️ Roy signing off.
well done guys, just remember to use DOWN elevator to prevent the model leaping into the air too quickly, works for me.cheers.
Hay my friends, lovely flight Pilot Robert, big salute!!
Thanks my friend.
Beautiful sexy maiden flight. Great session guys. Glad she ok at the end there. Cheers guys :)
