    Chef I'm seriously a big fan of your cooking sobrang nakakatulong sa mga di marunong magluto dahil sobrang simple ng mga style of cooking na pinapakita nyo. I think this pasta recipe is more like a pasta boscaiola than a carbonara, nasanay na kasi mga pinoy na pag white sauce carbonara kagad ang naiisip na pangalan. 😂

      Yes, we don't use milk in classic carbonara. Just eggs. But the Filipino thing, you know haha! Don't worry meron din kaming recipe ng classic carbonara. Either way, masarap and simpol. ☺️

    Watching this after i ate the carbonara sa Be Resorts sa Lapu-lapu City for our Christmas party kahapon....sobrang sarap...un ung best carbonara n natikman ko so far kaya search ko talaga paano lutuin tong "white sphagetti" hehe

      please don't make "carbonara" like this, it's NOTHING like a real carbonara - and to be honest, it looks disgusting.
      They should call it something else, it makes no sense to even call it carbonara when it has these horrible ingredients. Filipinos should stick to sinigang and adobo ,that stuff is good! But when filipinos try to make 'pasta' they make really horrible things lol

    Hong Baq has its Chinese authenticity in old times...tapos, gumawa ng Humba ang mga Bisaya emulating the dish. Then, nangongopya rin mga Tagalog at tinawag nila itong adobo.
    Sa Italy nagmula ang carbonara, at gumawa rin tayo ngayon nito sa sarili nating version. Carbonara ito sa istilong Filipino.
    Tulad ng pansit ng Old China na kinokopya ng mga Italyano at tinawag nila itong spaghetti noodles.

    Let us normalize not calling all white sauce pasta as carbonara. Creamy pasta will do. Nothing against sa food evolution pero respeto pa rin sa origin, lalo na't part ng culture yung way of cooking and recipe.

    It’s not simple.
    Bago po natin tawagin na carbonara ay dapat yung mga ingridients mo ay pang carbonara.
    Wag nyo po tawagin na carbonara ang recipe na yan. Nkakahiya po sa mga Italians.

If someone recreates it into something that isnt authentic then they shouldnt use the authentic way…duh. Thats like some white dude making a dish and calling it adobo but not using adobo ingredients and instructions lol

    There is absolutely NOTHING about this that even resembles carbonara.. title is false advertising. Literally pepper is the only carbonara ingredient. Disgusting sounding too

    That wasn’t remotely Carbonara. Literally everything you did was wrong. Watch Vincenzo’s Plate to learn. First off you don’t use bacon but instead either guanciale or pancetta, and definitely no ham. Next no onion and garlic. Try to use a non orange coloured spaghetti (it’s not noodles). Also don’t cook the spaghetti so soon. Where were the eggs and pecorino or parmigiano ? Mixing them makes the cream when mixed and a little pasta water is added to the mix. Then why mushrooms and especially canned mushrooms. They don’t belong in this dish. Why condensed milk and then also cream. Neither belong in Carbonara. The fake cheese you used at the end is also so wrong. About the only two things you did correctly was add the pasta to the ‘sauce’ and use black pepper. Please learn the basics of cooking authentically and don’t call this dish Carbonara as it wasn’t remotely that.

      It is a dish called Carbonara. It isn't necessarily Italian Carbonara or DOP Carbonara. I am excited for the day when you learn about the Filipino dish, Paella Valenciana, which is made with glutinous rice and coconut milk.

      No Carbonara is as I described. This Filipino dish wasn’t that. End of storey. Filipino’s might enjoy it but I seriously doubt anyone else would. I will pass on the Filipino rice dish as that too isn’t for my palette. Paella doesnt have coconut milk in it. That’s for Asian rice dishes. You’re confusing food cultures.

      @@1240enzo When you branch out to Filipino food, please keep an open mind. It is half a world away and the names don't always make sense to a European audience.
      The creme caramel is steamed, adidas isn't made of rubber and leather, and betamax doesn't play Back to the Future. Don't worry about authenticity, everyone just wants to share their culture with you.

    In Italy we have never eaten such a recipe like this.
    That's NOT italian Carbonara!
    You are doing all wrong or probably you are doing another filipino dish, not italian Carbonara.
    I think you have never been to Rome (Italy).
    Please visit Rome to learn how to make a real italian Carbonara.
