- Hey there everyone! This one was suggested by L Mark, who has probably given up on this reaction since he suggested it 9 months ago. My apologies L Mark.
Dave LOVES this. And I know no one asked but I LOVE it too. So much high energy funk going on here. Amazing.
Thanks for the great suggestion L Mark!
Ah.. watching these brings me great joy.
Always here for Jamiroquai 💯⚡🙌
Love this, so dammn funky! Your chair always looks so comfy Dave, the most relaxed reactor!
That old chair is comfy but very beat up, so we cover it up with blanket so it seems more presentable.
Questo è forse il più emozionante concerto dei Jamiroquai. Vederli così giovani, così bravi, così belli ,così felici!!!!! MERAVIGLIOSO
Concordato! Sembrava davvero una serata molto speciale.
Another great reaction. Dave summed it up nicely in two words ‘ youthful energy’
In case you didn’t know, Jay is ad-libbing the vocals from ‘Lyn Collins - Rock me again & again & again & again & again’ a funky af track from 1975 ruclips.net/video/yQRjLqNfe8E/видео.html
🙌🏽
Dave is familiar with Lyn Collins and thinks this song is like a slightly more disco version of Betty Davis.
He IS the Dave.
The Encore is a vital part of a concert! I like this kind of Rappin'! I think it's this distorting of 'Rap' that kept out Jamiroquai's promotion in the continental United States.
Groovy reaction! Throwback tune re-invented for the funky generation. I liked that JK was using his cigarette for punctuation during the tune. Baseline reminded me of "Another one bites the dust". Here's a tune for Dave to check from a band whose singer has some nice range and whose name sounds like an STD, Kalidia with their tune, Frozen Throne ruclips.net/video/ABM7YmBOMyM/видео.html
Added! Sorry late on updating the list this time around.
Yeah sometimes Wallis would just dance around on stage. He was fly as hell lol
I'm interested to know if Dave has become a Jamiroquai fan through this process or does he just appreciate the talent but the songs aren't for him?
Dave has become a real fan of Jamiroquai specifically Stuart Zender's bass playing and Jay Kay's vocals. He likes the early funkier stuff the best, sometimes they veer off into disco territory and he doesn't love that as much.
@@samechick Don’t mean to say ‘I told you so’ when I told you to get Dave to watch/react to their live shows after he had reacted to some of their music videos, but I have and I will lol
@@samechick stu is one if sheffields most underrated musicians
@@stanmil5495 Stu is BELOVED in our household.
7:18 don't forget... react to Jamiroquai Space Cowboy - Live Montreux 1995
Hey there! I haven't forgotten =) Here's Dave's reaction to Space Cowboy live at Montreux ruclips.net/video/wXZL5fJDn04/видео.html Thanks for the suggestion =)
Dave should be a voice actor.
Yes!
Me again, you reminded me that I had Dave help me on the first couple of chapters I did of an audio version of my book. I gave up because there was zero interest and it's quite a chore to put together. Anyway, Dave, of course!, and his voices are the star of this project ruclips.net/video/ro6y4vVMQtQ/видео.html
How old would you have been in ‘93 Dave?
26. We first met around that time, he was playing with First House and literally every Friday night me and a bunch of other jam band loving folks were heading to the Nightingale on 12th and 2nd to enjoy the hell out of ourselves.

Ahhh, good times! I ask coz I thought you’d have probably both fitted right in with that crowd in Tokyo!
@@darkmatter6714 Oh definitely! Here's a very terrible vhs tape version of First House at the 'gale. It sounds better than it looks but my goodness the nostalgia for me (I'm also the cameraman).
@@samechick where? There’s no link 🤷♂️
@@darkmatter6714 Oh dear. My apologies. ruclips.net/video/NudLt743aVk/видео.html
