HOW TO A MAKE A FIRE PIT FROM A GAS BOTTLE

On a recent trip to Queenslands sunshine coast we had a fire pit that was made from an old propane gas bottle. This gave us the idea to make a couple for ourselves! What could go wrong? We hope you enjoy the watching the outcome. Please do not try this unless you really know what you are doing..

The smoke from the first few burns burn is toxic, as the paint peels off, be very careful

SAFETY GLASSES boys, spent 6 hours having a metal filing removed from my eye recently, I have done heaps of these,.... THIS IS NOT A SAFE THING TO DO, do it at your own risk. always fill with water, and leave the water in when making the first cut. If you can't remove the valve, open it right up, there is a little screw on the side, used for filling, unscrew that, you can then fill the tank with water, with the valve on, leave the valve open until you have cut it.

Where do u park at night ?

We park on quiet streets or my place of work while we are on the GC.
Often to get away from the city we travel out and would stay at a free camp or a showground.
